Tried a new (to me) Chinese restaurant in Riverview. I also asked for their D1 Broccoli and chicken with white sauce. When I got to my car to sneak taste my order there was no chicken in the Broccoli. I looked at my receipt thank goodness they didn't charge me for the dish with chicken. The white sauce was good but too salty. As for the shrimp in lobster sauce with vegetable pork fried rice this wasn't lobster sauce it tasted like the white sauce from the diet dish salty too. Definitely not lobster sauce the only thing they did was add the egg whites to it. The shrimp tasted ok. Overall my first experience here was not horrible but could have been much better 1. Listen to what the customer ordered then repeat it back to the customer for verification 2. Cut back on the salt or MSG it takes away from what the dish is supposed to taste like. 3. Some people still pay with cash like I did. Yet the girl checked my money even though it was a five dollar bill. I placed two different orders at different times both paid with cash using small bills, so is this a reason for flagging the money because I used cash twice. Makes one think doesn't it. I think there are better Chinese restaurants in the area that aren't as judgemental as this place. Maybe my complexion caused this type of warning who knows. read more

Gross. Currently staying in a local hotel and decided to order some Chinese. This is the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I requested a few extra packets of soy sauce only for it to arrive with zero. Also, no utensils or anything were provided. Staying in a hotel this proved difficult. Managed to find some from the lobby, but when I finally dug into my food, it was the most bland and tasteless Chinese on earth. I feel like I could've made a more authentic Chinese dish at home. The noodles were soggy and bland, the white rice was a weird yellow color, and the veggies were mushy and tasteless. I called the restaurant to let them know and see what they could do, but being met with rude staff I asked for a refund that they refused. Don't eat here. I ordered from here after a friend suggested it. The person I spoke to was so nice and the food was good. So we decided to order again, the person who took my order the second time was so rude. She cut me off while I was ordering on the phone to take someone's else order who was there. I asked her to clarify my order to make sure I got everything in and when I didn't hear her clearly, I asked her to repeat one item and her response was "Listen to what I'm saying!". By far the blandest food I have ever eaten. Not a drop of soy or salt in anything I ordered including Beef with Broccoli, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein noodles, and Fried Rice. Everything seemed to be a very weird consistency as well- chicken, beef and noodles that were both rubbery and mushy which is hard to explain. There was also an off-taste to everything which I'm guessing was due to the food being old and re-served a second night. I would caution everyone to think twice before ordering here. Girl at the front desk was taking payments from clients including mine,then as I was standing there she went to open a bag to put food in it small white bag for egg rolls and such.. she put her hand inside the bag to open it wider without putting on a glove or washing her hands. This place is ok. We usually order the same thing and it's pretty consistent. I do love the house special soup...I could eat it every day. It's packed full of sliced pork, chicken and shrimp along with lots of veggies, which are all cooked perfectly. They are cooked but not mushy. They still have a little crunch to them.
