When visiting FL, I must eat two things: Bern's mac/cheese and the Szechuan dumplings from this place. It's not fancy, but the food is consistently delicious. I'm leaning towards a 3.5 for this place, so I rounded up to 4 b/c of their consistency. Service is kind of abrupt, but whatever, it's to go Chinese food, not fine dining. Prices are low, and the food is prepared quickly. I've had the Szechuan dumplings, moo goo gai pan, chicken lo mein, cashew chicken & egg rolls. Since the former owners sold this restaurant, the new owners have destroyed this place. I will never order from this place ever again. I had hair and a metal piece in my food and when I spoke with the owner she didn't care and just told me to come and pick up my refund without an apology. The food doesn't taste nothing like it use to when the former owners owned it. We ordered General Tso Chicken. We were told 10 mins that turned into 20 mins. When we got home, we noticed that the fried rice was barely fried at all and the onion in it was mostly raw. Yuck! The chicken was mostly breading and crunchy. Yuck again! Lastly, the egg roll was gross, almost like it was bad before frying it. I have been utilizing this place for my Chinese food fix for 6 years now and have to say in comparison to the 2 other Chinese food places this is indeed the best and considerably less expensive than others. Going in it is better to understand that 5 minutes does not really mean that so it is always better to hold off a bit. The food is always consistent and we have explored the menu to mix things up and have not ever been disappointed. This is the worse place for food and customer service. Not only do they answer the phone while you're ordering, they tried charging me twice for an order even after showing them my bank statement. They started screaming at me, and the lady started putting her hands in my face and my fiancée face all over 15 bucks. They are terrible all around. I don't serve my country for this. The only thing I ever order here is the hot and sour soup. It is so delicious that I order the large and eat the whole thing. The large soup is less than 4 dollars. I think that is an absolute steal. It is always very busy so it seems like they have a large customer base. However, it is always very hot in there. I'm not sure how people actually eat in. The staff is quick but not very friendly. The location is very convenient. It is located a few doors down from Publix. It's very easy for me to pop in and grab my soup! read more

I was very disappointed with the food quality here. My sesame chicken seemed to be only breading and the rice was very dry and chewy. My boyfriend had the beef and broccoli and he said it tasted somewhat undercooked. The steamed dumplings were great but if I ever go back to this place, that will be all that I order. Also, the person taking my order was impatient and short with me. It's mall/ buffet style Chinese food that is meant to be ordered over the phone and taken to go. The old woman who answers the phone is unbelievably rude but the lunch specials are cheap, especially if you have the buy 3 get one free coupon. For dinner we order a large General Tso's chicken, large Mongolian beef (hit or miss but sometimes has way too many onions and not enough steak), a pint of house special lo mein (has 2 shrimp in it, don't expect more) and a large hot and sour soup (has mushrooms in it). The dinner entrees each come with steamed rice (I usually fry it up with some egg, garlic and sesame oil). The bourbon chicken is awful, don't order it. This place is quick and I can usually order at 10:55 p.m. after my kids football games and it hits the spot read more

Standard issue Chinese take out spot. Nothing special. Quick fast and cheap Chinese food. Best for take out, has standard issue cafeteria style dining so I wouldn't recommend sit down dinner. If you are looking for a sit down Chinese dinner I would go across the street to "yummy Asian house" or right around the corner to "Sakura", both have excellent food with sushi/hibachi additionally on menu and in a more formal restaurant setting. read more

New to the area, and really wanted a good Chinese meal. Ordered HOT chicken curry with onions and a portion of fried rice. Got the fried rice, The Chicken curry with onions should be advertised as onions with some chicken minus the curry. Not even mild curry - couldn't taste any curry at all. Very disappointing. Also ordered House Special Lo-Mein. Nothing but noodles with a few small pieces of chicken, shrimp, oh and not to forget one piece of pork - Yeah! Charged $8.65 for the Lo-Mein, website menu shows $6.50. Curry chicken with onion charged $9.20 website menu shows $6.95. Not only is the food totally terrible, but the prices are misleading on the website. They say you learn by mistakes. One lesson learned. read more

Food is ok, inline with all other take out. I will say the service is not good. The teenage boy taking orders is pretty rude. When my food was ready he just pointed at it and when I went to go get it, he just shoved it to the side and turned around. CHINA WTF?! I used to order from here once in a while when the Chinese craving called, but it just gets worse and worse man. I can't bring myself to go anymore, and it prompted a review as I'm still thinking about how sh!t the food was a week later! China taste has figured out a way to make the pieces of chicken as small as possible, and coat it with enough batter to make a donut. My past two trips were general tso which was nothing but fried batter and sauce, literally. Sweet and sour chicken, almost as bad, and it tastes like they par fried everything about a week in advance. Do I need to mention the fried rice or is it common knowledge they make the worlds worst fried rice? Why is it yellow, is it cuban food now? Why are there peas in it? How can a chinese restaurant have fried rice be SO BAD?! Chinese food used to be cheap and delicious. When Im dropping $40 on a not-so-big takeout order, I expect some chicken. Some beef. Fried rice, not Arroz con pollo. I don't want to be tricked out of my money, and that's what I feel is happening. They also changed their recipe for chicken on a stick, which was something they had that Asian yummy house across the street didn't. I don't get it. Seriously? Also... The menu you see online is old. I have never tried YELLOW pork fried rice, NOT desirable at all. Lots of peas tho. The Orange Chicken was stringy and woody, couldn't chew it enough to digest. Shrimp Egg Foo Young had three nice patties;except one patty had ONE single shrimp in it! I would not recommend this spot. read more
