I live in yuba city, were we have only 2 Thai places. Thai chili blows them out of this world. My family loooves Thai, and it's hard to find places up north where they serve pork satay, and mee krob. I will say this, the mee krob was not what I was expecting, the flavor was good, but I was really looking forward to the sweet sticky awesomeness that is mee krob, I think we got its cousin. We also ordered Thai coffee/tea, we asked for the largest glass they have, and the brought out steins.!!!! Some places put it in like a fluted glass but not these babies, it was sooooo friggen good, even my super picky husband was drooling over the Thai coffee/tea. My hubby ordered the pad see ew with chicken, and practically inhaled it. He was like how come they don't make it like this up at home? I ordered the pad Thai combination meat, omg I could not stop eating it, it saw so flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect consistency. My dad ordered the pineapple curry, at med. spiciness, and after a couple of bites it was like a kick in the pants, and the pineapple bits was like finding tasty treasures. He also got pork fried rice to go with the curry and I absolutely fell in love with the nice sized chucks of meat. My dad girlfriend ordered the house special angel wings, meh. She said it was good, but didn't offer to share, that's ok I had some chicken satay to eat. That peanut sauce was like fireworks in my mouth. I could not get enough of it. All in all, this place was amazing, the wait staff was charming, and so helpful. Our waitress was so very good to us, and after all that they only charged us like $80 dollars. So inexpensive!!! I defiantly recommend this place to all the kids out there. Just go in and laugh with the wait staff, expect to have fun and you will. Don't go into this place and start judging them before you give them a chance. The next time I'm in L.A, I will come back and try the yellow curry. read more

Customer service was great, the servers were helpful and accommodating to all of our family requests. - We ordered the fresh coconut water and it was pretty good. - We got the Cucumber salad as a side dish (the one that you get with the satay appetizers) and that was delicious! - Tofu Cashew Nut - was a little bland, not enough flavor to it. - White rice was too sticky and clumpy than other places I've been to and I wasn't a fan of it. - Pad See Ew Tofu: was pretty good, flavor was better than the other dishes. - Fried Ice Cream: was okay, I liked the presentation and look of it more than the taste. Ordered Delivery and came over TWO HOUR LATER! WTH! Last Friday (3/30), I placed an order(4 ppl $52 dollars) delivery around 7:20pm. I got confirmation email 7:27pm saying it'll take 45-60 minutes to receive our food. I waited until 8:51pm and called the restaurant and kindly try to ask where our order was. The waitress cuts me off and rudely replies(automatically) "He's 15 minutes away." I don't think she even bothered to check or apologize. So we waited some more, I was about to call back and cancel our order but delivery driver called and said he arrived. We're located less than 2 miles away. We paid the delivery fee.... The food arrived at 9:21pm, it was hot and tasted as expected (not my favorite place for Thai food). Being that late could only mean, they were behind on orders. What they could have done: -Offer an apology. -Actually check the order when I called. -Gave us a courtesy call after an hour and ask if we wanted to proceed with the order. -Offer a complimentary drink or desert. -Offer a discount or coupon. Spicy beef salad! Totally worth the trip to this spot. The decor is warm and inviting with little murals and a nice cute water fountain along one wall. The service, though, is meh. They're very nice. But they get orders wrong frequently and look at you like you're good, right? And it's pulling teeth to get a refill on water. I raise my hand like I'm in junior high. Excuse me miss, I'm thirsty. Water please? But food wise, the egg rolls are super fried and super greasy. But they hit the spot when fresh out of the fryer. I eat one and let my dining companion bulk up on the rest. And the spicy beef salad is both spicy and a salad with beefy goodness. I often mistakenly bite into the peppers, hence my need for more water. But it's yummy and it's flavorful. And it's super cheapo. If you're a lover of spicy foods like me, you should check this spot out for sure. But be prepared for a slow lunch that may not get you back to the office in time. read more

3.5 stars overall Chicken Dumplings (3 stars): Good, but a bit chewy. The sauce it comes with pairs well with it. Wonton Soup (4 stars): I will definitely be getting this when I feel a sore throat coming on. Good broth. Vegetable Pad See Ew (4 stars): This was my favorite here. The noodles had a great flavor! Only problem was the tofu itself didn't have much flavor, but the noodles made up for it. Vegetable Cashew Nut (3 stars): Wasn't crazy about the sauce. But it is filled with veggies. Tofu was good. Pineapple Fried Rice (3.5 stars): Not the best but still good. Red Curry (3.5 stars): Didn't look as red as they normally do but it was still good. Fried Ice Cream (3 stars): Not a big fan of the batter they use over the ice cream. The fried part fell away from the ice cream really easily so it was hard to get a perfect bite of both. It wasn't holding up and ended up getting soggy so you didn't get much of a crunch. But loved the presentation with the flame. Service (4 stars) They made sure they had everything written down right before they left which was nice. We got everything we ordered. They were great with kids. Atmosphere: Good sized restaurant. Clean, nice water fountain background noise. We came around 7 on a Saturday night and it was empty. A lot of people came in for togo orders though. Not in a super happening shopping complex so maybe that's why. If you're looking to eat some solid thai food at a nice place where you won't have to wait on a busy night-this is it. Thai Chili is one of my favorite places to get pad thai! Everything about it is just so delicious! My favorite part of the pad thai is this hand-carved butterfly made from a carrot! It's a wonderful touch to the meal and almost too pretty to eat! It's a nice and relaxing sit down restaurant that has a calm atmosphere. Well, it was edible. That's where the third star comes from. Sadly, our order was wrong. My friend picked food up last night and came over. She ordered the red curry with tofu and I ordered pad Thai with tofu. I did not get pad Thai. I'm not sure what I was given, but the noodles were orange and it was packed with veggies- broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, corn, cabbage- none of which I've ever seen in pad thai. When craving pad Thai nothing is more disappointing than the wrong order. But because it was so late and we were starving we still tried it. I mean, it was fine. Noodles were over cooked and it was a bit bland, but it was food. My friends red curry seemed wrong to her too, but she said it was good. It was missing the usual elements of red curry that she's used to but couldn't really pin point what it was about it that was wrong. 2 stars for decent red curry + 1 star for edibility. Now I'm still hankering for good pad Thai. Definitely wouldn't come back here looking for it. read more

Been coming here since they opened in about 16 years ago. Management has changed a few times, but the menu has been relatively the same. They even have lunch specials on the weekdays. Service is usually good and the place is packed on Friday evenings. I happened to drop in for lunch and had the spicy scallops. There are plenty of Thai places in this area, but I think this one and Lanta Thai on Katella are two of the better choices. read more

Well, really hungry for some pad see eu for lunch. Decided to try this little place. I must admit, the bar is pretty high when it comes to my Thai food. I'm used to the best at a place in Fullerton call Thai Basil. They lost their cook though so it's not as good as it used to be. Anyway, this dish traditionally calls GAI lan or Chinese broccoli. The broccoli today was soggy and reminded me of re-purposed broccoli. Just not what I would call fresh. The noodles were broken and the color was just not appealing. I don't think I would go back. AMAZING SERVICE! Food was great too :) We showed up on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 10 and they seated us immediately. My dad is diabetic and they were more than happy to adjust their recipe so that he could order what he wanted. That means a lot to our our family. The portions were HUGE and the food was very authentic. We'll be back very soon! Yelp really needs to start letting us give zero stars. This place is the best example of a 0 star type restaurant. The 1 star I'm giving them is for the food, I guess. This place has let me down plenty of times but today would be the last time. I ordered food to be delivered to my house at 630. I called the restaurant @ 725pm to follow up with my order and was told it would be another 30 minutes because they had just received my order. Are you serious?? Almost an hour later and they are barely going to start with my order? Fast forward another 1 hour @ 820pm, I called the restaurant and they said the driver is on his way. We get there at 10:59 doors open we sit down and the lady says were not open yet and it will be a while but then says OK i will serve you. Fast forward a year and at least a dozen frustrated take-out orders later, I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. They say it will be ready in half an hour, I get there, I wait an additional 15-20 minutes. Their egg drop soup was like eating scrambled egg soup, curry had no flavor, chow-mein was a greasy grey mess. Thai ice tea was still pretty good. They always seem to be short staffed at all hours. I really wanted to give this place a moment to recuperate their reputation but sadly they didn't come through. I ordered from this place recently and the driver was so so so nasty and rude. He called me to let me know he was here and I let him know that he has access to my building and apartment. He decided he didn't want to drop my food off. Instead he asked me to come get my food! I however did explain I had an injured ankle and that's why I ordered take out. The driver yelled at me and said" if you want your food come and get it, I'll leave it outside here in the front for you." I don't have time for this! What? No, I paid for delivery and I tipped you! He proceeds to flag down a resident to take my food for me because he refused to take it to my door. That poor lady didn't have to do his job!! Also, he said he was gonna get a ticket for putting on his blinkers and parking on red. I told him, I used to be a driver. You don't get a ticket for delivering food. I called the restaurant personally and asked for a discount or refund. They could not locate my order all of a sudden!! Wait you charged me? How do u not know? I called back again, said the owner was on vacation and wasn't authorized to make such a decision. BS! Let's just say, I am never ordering from this place ever again! The food at this place is horrible. The only reason they got 1 star is because the pad Thai tasted almost like a pad Thai. It is so dry and the beef slices are so dry, just like eating beef jerky. The chicken and ribs are not close to a Thai barbecue. The chicken is so dry but the good thing is, the chicken pieces are tiny, I didn't feel bad throwing them away. The ribs were soaked with some red tomato sauce so it wasn't even grilled. The flavor is worse than how it looked. My dog sniffed it and walked away. I fried the ribs almost charred and they still had no flavor. I think if I grilled them, they would have been better but I didn't want to cook and was the reason for buying. I've noticed Thai Chili and few times while driving down Tustin Ave, and always vowed to stop in and check them out. During one of my days of being super lazy and not wanting to go out and grab dinner, I searched the Yelp app for local places that delivered, and this place popped up. The ordering system was very thorough and easy, and within 45-minutes I had food delivered to my door. Not only was the food piping hot, but the portions were big enough for multiple meals after the fact. They definitely don't skimp, and the price points are reasonable. What we ordered: - Pad Thai: We got this as a combo that came with both shrimp and chicken. The noodles were cooked nicely and the order wasn't too oily. The amount of protein to carb ration was great and again, we had so much left over for the next day. - Pad See Ew: Got this with beef and I loved the grilled flavor that came through with the meat. There was a good amount of broccoli and other veggies in the dish and again, gigantic portion. - Beef Panang: We ordered this on the spicier side and it was pretty hot. Good amount of meat and peppers - super delicious when poured over white rice. - Tom Kha Kai Soup: Lots of chicken, good flavor. Added a little bit more chili paste to heat things up a little bit more, so if you like heat, I'd order it on the spicier side. Still fantastic. Pick-up and delivery have both been great and the service has been super friendly. I'll have to return and dine in-house at some point, but with their free delivery within a 3-mile radius, it's kinda hard not to want to post up on the couch watching Netflix while someone else brings you a meal! read more
