Had a wonderful meal at Thai Cafe! The flavors were incredibly vibrant and authentic.

I love this place. Whenever I end up south of Springfield, I always look forward to stopping on my way back to DC. Need to go to Home Depot? I'll drive a bit extra to give me an excuse for Thai Cafe? Target? Same. My "go to" dishes are any of the curries but I really love the Panang Curry with Chicken. The Pad Prik King (string beans) with Beef are also phenomenal. They have some heat too...not too much, just right. After coming here for so long, I was sad to see the wonderful Thai couple owners depart. However, the new owners seem great. They said they were keeping the same great menu. Looks like they added some "street food" options. Worth a drive! Check them out. What did you think?

The Thai Cafe has new owners but the food is still the best in town. Reasonable prices and good portions. Tried the Crab Rangoon and it was great. The pad Thai is amazing and the pad see-ew is great. Lunch prices are the way to go.

The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of everything they kept bringing. I had the opportunity to meet the original owner's daughter and she did a phenomenal job at helping us pick out what to order. My table ordered family style and I'm so glad we did because it gave me the opportunity to try a lot. I am still thinking about my favorite dish - papaya salad made at medium heat. My goodness, I could eat that every day !! The server was so nice and attentive. They constantly checked up on us. Definitely will stop here again for lunch!

Virginia is blessed with so many really good Thai restaurants! We are new to the area from SoCal, and dined here after charging up at the nearby Tesla Supercharger. Thai Cafe is pretty easy to find with ample parking. We were greeted immediately upon entering and seated right away. Decor is simple and clean. We ordered yum woonsen, numtok noodle soup, siam beef, and tod mun pla. Overall I would say the food is good, leaning a bit to the sweet side though. We support local restaurants so we are glad we gave them a try.

I came in to the restaurant today to have a late lunch. I was promptly seated and given a menu. 2 employees were seated eating the 3rd employee that seated me did not return to take my order. There was no reason for this with only 1 patrons in the dining room. I was just here a few days ago and had a wonderful meal. Shout out to Nikki!!! I have never been treated with so much disdain. The rating is based on today 1-21-25. I will not return nor will I recommend to anyone. I can spend my money where it is appreciated. Please note the photos are from the visit a few days ago.

Excellent food at a reasonable price! Easily accessible near the Springfield Mall, Thai Cafe is ready with friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. I had the crispy Pork Belly and it was delicious. Highly recommend

The best Thai I've had recently .. and their portions are huge !! Def will be back. And the servers are so nice and caring. I saw a picture of a menu item that looked good but apparently they stopped serving. When I had inquired about it, the server went back to the kitchen to ask if they could make it for me even though it was no longer in the menu, and they made it happen.

This is my second bad experience that's why I had to leave a review the first occasion was when I order for my girl I told them no peanuts because she is allergic and they said ok and still put it on the meal I drove 30 minutes there and back to get the food. The second time we went back they made the food good but while we are eating we found a string of something looks like a rope or something but these people are disgusting with poor customer service.

This place is so cute! The front of the restaurant looks like a place that just does takeout. The main dining area is in the back and really nice. We went in on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty busy. Service was excellent and the servers were really helpful. I ordered the big bowl Tom Yum dinner with chicken and it was really good. I wished it was a little spicier but the servers bought me a spice tray and fixed it. My husband had the Chicken Pad Kapow and it was freaking amazing! I know exactly what I am going to order the next time I come here. Definitely recommend

The best thai in the area. The food is consistently good. Their spicy dishes are exactly that... spicy but still very flavorful.

Have eaten here several times now so I am more than confident in my review!…read more I have picked up once so I was able to see the fun decor of the place and the other times were all delivery so I have not properly sat down for a dinner. FOOD We have ordered a wide range of apps, soup, noodles, curry, and veggie dishes as well as mango sticky rice. The flavors were all on point & delish and you can adjust your spice level, which I like because I am all about the Thai spicy! The only thing I would not suggest is getting the mango sticky rice to go because it ends ups mush, stuck together like its name, lol, but it's just not good like that. Great vibe, fun spot, yummy food! As always peeps, support your local small biz! Cheers!

The menu was huge (which actually was three separate menus). We started out with Crispy Wontons, Tom Kha soup and Tom Yum soup. The delicately thin Crispy Wontons were tasty. The Tom Yum soup was very good. The flavor of the spicy Tom Kha soup was also very good. Even if it's traditional to be prepared this way, I didn't like the hard pieces of lemongrass in the soup I had to pick out. I ordered the lunch special pork Phad Thai. With bits of pink-tipped barbecued pork the smoky flavored Phad Thai was good, even if it was served on a plate that was a tad too small. The Gai Tod crispy chicken came with a yellow curry sauce. The perfectly seasoned curry sauce was delicious and the chicken excellent. My Thai Iced Coffee was excellent. The best part of our meal was the mango sticky rice for dessert. The mango was sweet and ripe and the rice with condensed milk was wonderful. We do wish that they hadn't brought out entrees almost immediately after our appetizers. That made for a crowded table.

I stopped scrolling when I got to this one as I couldn't believe they had Laotian food. YES!!! A treat given how difficult it is to find. I ordered: -Ban Guan Lao -Pineapple fried rice (comes with shrimp--heavenly) -Kanom Jeeb I drove over and was excited when I got to see that the restaurant was a cute hole in the wall kind of place, not fancy like padaek or thip kao. It was so cozy and comfortable ambiance inside, and I watched a family happily tuck into their food. The service was very kind. When I got home I dug in. Pineapple fried rice is one of my favorites and wow, they do it different in an awesome way here!!! The shrimp comes in a sauce on the side in a cup. It's likely in person it all comes together, but when I mixed it and tried, wow it was so delicious!!! The Ban Guan (rice crepes with ground chicken and mushrooms and onions) was the bomb with its sauce. And the kanom jeeb!!!! Which are steamed dumplings with ground chicken, crab meat, mushrooms and crunchy garlic on top--good lord. Hands down the best I've had. I know the Ban Guan was the only Laos dish I ordered but I will be back again to try more! And I also can't wait to try the curry puffs. This is definitely my new go-to for Thai and Laotian food.

I came here with a friend for lunch on a Thursday. I was relieved to see several patrons already there especially since this location feels more like an unassuming, off the beaten path, dilapidated, truck stop, hole in the wall. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch combo with the side salad and boy was the dressing on the salad sensational. It was sophisticatedly sweet and packed full of umami. I think I could eat that all day. When the Pad Thai arrived, I was also pleasantly surprised with the taste; however, two things struck me as very odd -- the thin noodles and white color! It did not have the familiar reddish look of tamarind which I thought was essential for Pad Thai. Regardless, it was delicious and I ate everything. Not a single morsel of food was left. If i weren't eating with polite company, I would have probably slurped the remaining dressing from the salad bowl. I'm definitely coming back and it shouldn't be difficult because the prices seem fairly inexpensive.

The moment you walk in, the aesthetic sets the mood. The teal wood-paneled walls paired with those gorgeous woven basket pendant lights draped in cherry blossoms? Absolute magic. It's chic, cozy, and felt like a little escape. I went all out on the menu and wasn't disappointed: * Chive Dumplings: These were the star of the show.
