This was a truly disappointing and unpleasant experience--especially when it came to customer service. We had originally placed a carry-out order, but then decided to dine in instead and were planning to order more food for two additional friends. We didn't mind paying extra or even a service fee for our carry-out items if needed. However, the server--a man dismissively told us that we were not allowed to eat our carry-out food inside the restaurant. We were shocked by the way we were treated. His attitude was rude, unwelcoming, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. It felt like he didn't care whether we stayed or left--and that's exactly what we ended up doing. As Thai people ourselves with over ten years of experience working in Thai restaurants in the U.S., we have never encountered service this poor. Every Thai restaurant we've known or worked at has always emphasized warm, respectful treatment of guests. Sadly, this was the only place where we felt unwelcome and even disrespected. It's hard not to wonder whether we were being treated differently because we are Asian. If that's not the case, then they seriously need to reconsider how they approach customer service--because no guest should feel the way we did. Originally we were planning to go to Arches Thai, but after seeing how dead it was we decided it wouldn't hurt to go down two blocks to see if this spot was more popular before committing. Good thing we did, because Thai Bella looked way more promising. Like I do with most restaurants, I'd scoped the menu and ambiance out on Yelp already. I knew there would be a cute bridge out front and it was good weather for outdoor dining. I got the sweetened Thai iced tea, veggie tempura, pad si eiw with tofu, and got to try some of the red curry. I had been itching for boba but was too skeptical of getting any of the options I found on Apple Maps because I had zero expectations for a place like Moab to have the high quality, authentic boba that I expect from back home. I'm glad I held out and got the Thai tea here because it did not disappoint. It did make me super gassy later at night though because of the cream, so if you're lactose intolerant like me just be warned. The veggie tempura wasn't my personal favorite because of the veggie mix and lack of tentsuyu sauce, but I was surprised to find tempura on the menu at a Thai restaurant so it was good enough. I was surprised to see that chopsticks didn't come standard in the utensil napkin roll, but makes sense considering there isn't a huge Asian population in these parts. Chopsticks were provided upon request though. The pad si eiw had good flavor and the rice noodles were perfect, not falling apart soft. I really appreciated the pieces of egg throughout and the carrot flower garnish on the side. I wasn't a big fan of the baby carrots in both the tempura and the pad si eiw, if they were slices of full sized carrot that would've made both dishes much better, but not a big deal. I like my pad si eiw mild and my curries spicy--from the taste that I did have of the red curry I would definitely recommend it if you can handle a bit of spice. read more

We happened to stumble upon Thai Bella on a cross country road trip. The temp outside was a little warm, but the shade and misters made it comfortable. I loved seeing the diversity of guests. Some speaking French, Swedish, Hindi, Spanish. It felt like we stumbled into something special. We ordered the pineapple curry and the special crab fried rice. Both were delicious. The spiciness of the Thai curry and the rich coconut cream, crisp bell peppers, pineapple, with chicken blended so perfectly. The crab fried rice was so soft and light. This was terrific - the best food in our three days in Moab. We started with the spring rolls which were large and appeared to contain a whole fresh salad. Two dipping sauces - one peanut & vinegar based and the other creamy spicy peanut. It's the hallmark of a good sauce that I wanted to continue eating the sauce after the spring rolls were gone. I was trying to g to eat light so had the (spicy ) basil fried rice with veggies. The veggies were delightful- fresh and well cooked. Service was attentive but not overbearing, and we had a lovely table out on the patio. After a wonderful day in Moab and at Arches, we were looking for something delicious and top rated. We are so thankful Thai Bella popped up. We came in slightly before 5 and had the restaurant to ourselves until the restaurant was getting filled right at 5. We understand why! It's a cute little house with tables that makes this a cozy restaurant with phenomenal food and gorgeous presentations! Our table of three has had a variety of different Thai foods both in the US and in Thailand. This was truly phenomenal and the staff were so helpful! It was recommended we get the Bella's Fresh Roll and get the Sous Vide Duck with Thai Basil Sauce. 10/10 recommendations. The roll was so incredibly fresh and was listed as organic. You could tell! There was so much flavor in the roll itself and then the peanut sauce had a ton of flavor. We also asked for the extra hot sauces which paired perfectly with the roll! The Gyoza was also delicious and full of flavor. Crispy on the outside but perfectly tender on the inside. We also got the Larb Salad which was flavored perfectly and paired well with the chili sauces. Finally our main dishes were Khao Soi with the Meat Combo which was delicious and full of flavor. We ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice with Chicken which tasted so refreshing and was very flavorful. This also paired extremely well with their hottest chili sauce. The Sous Vide Duck with Thai Basil Sauce was incredibly tender, full of flavor, and spiced perfectly. This duck tasted so fresh that my guess is that it must have been local. My mom and I came here after Arches looking for a refreshing and hearty meal and we came to the right place! The service was amazing and so quick. We had three different very sweet waitresses take care of us. The atmosphere was very pretty and soothing. We got the fresh rolls as an appetizer for some needed greens. My mom got the red curry and I got the Thai Lo Mein with a side of homemade chili sauce. It was the best Lo Mein I've ever had and I've had a lot! By far one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at ever. ANYWHERE. We live in Florida and we wish we could go here regularly and speak about our 2 visits to this restaurant routinely. If we could drive here and get back to work/school in a timely manner, I would do it- and forgo sleep to make it happen! We are here TWICE in our 4 days in Moab. We tried it our 2nd night there and loved it so much we went back for our last night. I dream about the dish I had here both times I ate here. Khao soi is the dish. I have never heard of it before I walked into the restaurant that day. I saw it on the menu and it sounded interesting. I was up for trying something new and went for it. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made when it comes to food. The chef came out and delivered our food. My husband got pad Thai, my son got drunken noodles and I got the heavenly khao soi. I immediately removed the lime from my bowl but the chef admonished me and told me to squeeze the lime in the bowl. I did this and it was superb- you need to do this. The dish is a yellow curry based noodle dish typically served in Thailand. I got it with chicken. It is something I have never tasted before and it is something I strive to find again. I love curry and it is so much more flavorful and unlike anything I have had before. I also ordered a brown sugar iced tea and it was also great. We left that first night and were blown away. Our hotel was less than a block away so we walked back and agreed we would be back. We went back our last night and the servers remembered us. We sat at the same table. I got the khao soi and so did my son. My husband got the green curry. My husband loved my dish, but also says his was the best curry he had ever eaten. I was in heaven eating my dish and my son was so excited to have his own bowl (he is 15). We left stuffed and wishing we would be back again. Back in Florida, we are on a mission to find a comparable khao soi or make our own and so far- no luck. We are stuck dreaming of our meals at Thai Bella. Excellent service We are on vacation visiting National Parks, and there are just so many burgers and steaks before a change is wanted, at least per my wife. That led us to Thai Bella, a highly rated restaurant and deservedly so. We walked in and after a short wait, got a table outside on a lovely evening. Lights on trees and soft music I particularly liked set the mood. Our server was over to get us started with drinks. Even our granddaughter, the burger and nuggets queen, found something she liked, their Traditional Fried Rice. For me, the Lo Mein with Chicken sounded good, and it was way better than just good. Plated to perfection, great flavor, my wife was right, a change from burgers was an excellent idea. Delicious! We had a party of 2 on Monday, 7/4/22. We only had to wait 5 minutes. And we ourselves were out of there in 30 minutes. The food came out so quickly. It's small with limited inside seating, but they turn tables quickly. They have patio seating too, just not when we were there because they were short staffed. The service was incredible. Our waters were never empty. We split an appetizer, soup, and entree. It was the perfect amount of food. Here's what we got: - Crispy Egg Roll ($8): Your typical egg rolls. It's on the pricier side for a Thai place, but giving it's at a tourist place, I'll give it a pass. The service is actually pretty fast, and the decor is really nice and beautiful with outdoor seating if it's not too cold. It's a small place so there might be a wait. We decided to get to go instead. The portion is decent. The massaman is really good. It has purple potatoes instead of regular ones. That's a nice surprise. The drunken noodles were cooked well, noodles are lumped together, and the eggplant is also cooked really nicely with a good amount of basil. On vacation in Moab, Ut with 2 friends and had dinner two nights but nothing worth writing about. I had a burger one night and ribs another.. All three of us were craving a lighter meal tonight which included vegetables so Thai was a good option. We noticed this restaurant in our tour around town and read the good reviews. It was early when we arrived and they just opened and were not entirely ready to seat us. At first we were concerned but all turned out very well. We were seated outdoors..they tried their best to keep us out of the hot early eve sun as temps were high! We were given fast, excellent service with drinks, appetizers and our meal. We ordered 6 Crab Rangoon normally not found on a Thai menu but we all agreed how good they were! Our three main courses were Pad Sei, Tom Ka Noodle Soup and Cashew & Vegetables all three dishes with chicken. Well, when all three women LOVE their meals, i cant say anything more as it speaks for itself. I would say the portions are generous and the food is overall good-there was an overwhelming amount of black pepper on all of our food which detracted from it somewhat. When we got there around 5:30 we waited for about 10 minutes and noticed that the wait got longer as we were eating. We got a seat outdoors since the weather was nice the day we went. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the Tom Yum soup with veggies, Pad Thai with chicken and the Massaman Curry with tofu. We loved all the dishes. Their flavors were well balanced - not too sweet or sour like some other Pad Thai, curries, and Thai soups we have had. We really enjoyed our dinner here.
