I really wish I would have taken a pic of what we ate here. If u can't tolerate spicy then mild is the way to go on any of the options. Personally medium is not really spicy. A hot cheeto is spicier than medium. Calamari: husband says it was tender and hot (temp) Naan: crispy and fluffy. Got the garlic. And cheese. Cheesy was a bit crispy and added extra texture and umami flavor Lamb vindaloo: so flavorful especially since the potatoes absorb the sauce. If you have never had this, it's a bit vinegary and u can taste the garlic and the ginger Chicken korma: a type of curry that's creamy and flavorful. I tasted a lot of cardamom and ginger. Very warming spices. Mint chutney: my favorite chutney and it didn't disappoint. Fresh herbs to cut through the richness of the food Mango lassi: a MUST. u know I always skip this because normally the yogurt is too sour or the mangos taste too artificial. But OMG this is so good. Not sour at all. Creamy and not overly sweet. Tastes like blended mangos with yogurt. I am lactose intolerant and I will gladly get the runs for this Waiter was very kind. Saw mostly people come in for take out but it's a good place to sit in as well. Very homey feel to it. Will be back again when we are back in MOAB. read more

We had dinner here for the first time and my husband enjoyed it more than me. I absolutely loved the restaurant building and the decor inside. Beautiful! We ordered a mango chicken salad to start that was an absolute new experience, but in a great way. The mango on top of the salad was hot, like maybe it had been grilled, and the chicken was maybe done in the tandoori oven (?)...delicious! The garlic naan was scrumptious! Super crunchy in areas, but light and tasty. However the chicken tikka masala was not good. The masala had a very strong spice (maybe star anise) that overpowered the whole dish, and I didn't enjoy it at all, but my hubby liked it. We also ordered the lamb biryani, that we were told could not be ordered mild, so we went with medium spice and we could manage that level. Not too spicy for us, and we are wimps ! If we lived in Moab, we would definitely be regulars here. We ordered naan, cheese naan and two types of curry. Everything was so good and came in such beautiful bowls. Who'd have thought you'd find really good Indian food here in Moab. After a long hot day and 8 miles of hiking we felt the urge for Indian, darn good Tandoori chicken was all white meat served on a sizzle platter, a little different than I expected but moist and tasty. I stopped in and didn't know what to expect, but knew that Indian food sounded great! We walked in, noticed a nice atmosphere, and were promptly greeted. The menu looked like there were "no wrong answers" and based on what we ordered- I still think that. I ordered the Shrimp Biryami and Chili Naan. Arrived 40 minutes prior to close. They were super busy and seated us quickly. The line in the door was steady right up to close. We were treated well and they took out order quickly and the food was fast to arrive at our table. Chicken tikka masala was rich and delicious. Better than most!! The chicken korma is usually my hands down favorite, it was good but the tikka masala was better. The samosa chat was so good. Huge portion. Flavors exploded in your mouth and lived the chunks of fresh tomato, a Very unexpected detail. The garlic naan was also so good. Loaded with garlic and soft and crunchy. Bingo!! Friendly service. Ordered the equivalent of a chicken and rice bowl for $30... got $2 worth of chicken, $2 worth of rice, and $26 worth of disappointment. I received 4 chunks of chicken in a large container of sauce. No utensils. No napkins. If ordering takeout, consider taco time instead. read more

We were looking forward to adding one more restaurant stop for our Moab visits. Unfortunately Indo Grill did not deliver. Both our orders were wrong on a very slow evening. My wife had to run down our server to let her know the chicken korma she ordered had no chicken. I ended up just eating my lamb vindaloo without the potatoes, not sure what dish I got, but it was lamb. After hearing another table complain about their order, we finally figured out another table got our food and we got theirs. On a slow evening the server should check up on you once in a while, we shouldn't have to run them down. The main dish was a very nice portion, but they don't give you much rice. Rice is cheap, give us more rice! They didn't even offer warm rice after my wife had to wait for her correct dish! read more

We stopped here for lunch. This Indian food place was a great option when you need a break from the burgers, fries & ice cream places in Moab. I had the Chana masala & garlic naan. The portions were big. We had leftovers. The service was fast. It was kind of a shame we were the only ones there during lunch time. The server was attentive. I highly recommend this place! The food is delicious. The service is impeccable, very kind and attentive with sincerity, was the nice Indian gentleman who was my server. I had butter, chicken and naan bread. It was delicious. The restrooms are so very clean and I really appreciate that. I hope I get to eat here again before I leave Moab. I highly recommend this place. And they have lots of traditional Indian dishes that I'm sure are very delicious. I wanted to eat dessert, but I was too stuffed. Been to Moab a few times first time to try this restaurant food was very fresh and clean. Prices were good. I had the Malabar fish curry, and I ordered it mild. That was the exact right spice level so that it had excellent flavor, but it never was so hot that you had to pause eating it to let your mouth cool off. It was absolutely delicious. The coconut and mango are very unique flavor pairing. My wife had the Malabar chicken salad. The chicken was flavored with very unique seasonings cooked in a tandoori grill and it has lots of mango in it, but it was frozen mango. It would be better if they could thaw it out first. read more

This is the first time my mom and I have come to Moab and as soon as we saw this place we were super excited! The food was amazing and while I love spice they had a very accessible spice scale. This place was a great start to our time in Moab! Came in with a large group of 9 and we were sat quickly and waited on with incredible speed and attention. Very cute ambiance and nice staff. We really wanted to like this restaurant and from some of the previous reviews it sounded good. However, butter chicken sauce was bland spice wise and we ordered it hot spicy. But also chicken was dry tasteless and actually had a very mushy texture. I don't do spicy food and was turned away from what I wanted due to it starting out with heavy spice. The building was bright and clean. Awesome place for Indian cuisine! Their mild was not spicy at all (I'm a wimp) yet very flavorful!!! I loved the Mango Chicken and will definitely get it here again. We haven't seen this on any menu before in any state or country that we've eaten Indian in yet, so this was a nice surprise. We went here for Vegetarian Indian food . Everything was frozen including Rotis. The Samosas was the only good plate . The pakoras were refried and horrible looking . The service was also average . All the vegetarian dishes had heavy cream . Maybe the food is better for non vegetarians but definitely do not recommend for Vegetarians . read more
