I absolutely love Thai BBQ, you can probably tell from all my photos. I'm pretty particular about Thai food, and this place never misses. The consistency alone keeps me coming back, but honestly, I love everything about it: the food, the customer service, and the overall experience. I've been coming here for over 15 years, and it's always reliable. The restaurant is clean, the pricing is reasonable, and the quality never drops. The only small downside is that the parking lot can be a bit tight at times,it. place is a staple for me and always will be. You'll find a park don't worry

What a delicious 1st time!!! The menu was quite huge. So I knew I had to come back for more. But today I ordered Pad Thai with Shrimp. And I LOVED it!!!! The noodles were firm and flavorful. The veggies and egg quite fresh, and the huge shrimp were perfectly cooked. All the flavors blended to a very delicious dish. I wish I had more appetite. But Im equally shocked I ate this whole dish, that could've easily fed 2.5 people!!!! I'll definitely be back for Sticky Rice with Mango. Im a big snob for teas. This tea was above my expectations as well. I need more of it!!!! The flavor was so natural!!! Thank you Thai BBQ. See you again soon!!!

Alright went out on a late night walk decided to grab a quick bite nothing to heavy this place was still open and it's located next to a liquor store and donut shop the male that greeted me was very nice and polite I ordered the crab fired rice and can I tell you it hit the spot all of it made to order it wasn't greasy served hot and he allowed me to sit even though it was close to closing time but the rice to crab ratio was perfect as well not to much rice and the didn't skim on the crab mixed in I didn't add a little bit of chili sauce and flakes to a few sides and it still tasted delicious recommend this place very nice ppl the place it's over crowded I love the set up not overly decorated oh not sure it if was imitation crab or real crab so if you're inquiring you'll have to wait for and update or call/go for your self and see but I will return soon thank you so much for your service and hospitality

A couple things to know before you go: parking isn't great, and the restaurant gets busy. We showed up around 5:00 p.m. and only waited about 20 minutes, but I could see larger parties having a much longer wait. My go-to dish is the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant with chicken. It's a Thai basil stir-fry with eggplant, onion, and Thai chilis, and I absolutely love it. We also ordered the mussel curry, which my friend picked, and it completely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did, but it was excellent. The standout, though, was the Khao Soi Noodle Soup with sliced rib-eye beef. Somehow I'd never ordered the dish they're most famous for, and now I understand why. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth with the rib-eye was incredible and is something I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time. My biggest criticism is that the rice portions feel smaller than they used to. With how much delicious curry and sauce you get, I found myself wishing there was just a little more rice to soak everything up. I also noticed that the green beans in the Pad Kra Prow Eggplant are very al dente. Personally, I'd prefer if they were blanched just a bit so they were slightly more tender. If the goal is to add texture, I'd almost rather see crunch come from something like cashews instead--but that's just my preference. For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice and another dessert with sweet milk dumplings and red beans. Both were fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Vibes of the restaurant are great. It's a small venue, but they work quickly, and a staff was very welcoming. Overall, Chiang Rai continues to be my favorite Thai spot in Southern California. If it's your first visit, the Khao Soi with sliced rib-eye is absolutely the dish I'd tell you to order.

Sure, it's kinda hood, and some have felt that it was too small or not as presentable as other restaurants and Thai spots in LB, but that's part of its charm. There's a local and family-owned vibe here, and I recommend it to all my peoples! Our favourite dishes here have been the bbq pork, pad see ew, fried tofu, tom yum, yellow curry, khao soi, drunken noodles, spicy angel wings, green curry, larb, and kra phao eggplant. All of these have never failed to bring out the "oohs," "ahhs," and "yums" from us! Other solid choices include pad thai, pineapple fried rice, boat noodles, thai crispy garlic chicken with orange sauce, and thai bbq chicken. Yes, we've eaten here a lot and have introduced it to a number of people! The service is very fast at Elephant Thai, and the menu has switched to digital since the pandemic. On the plus side, they have also not gotten rid of their healthcare worker discount (10%)! The parking lot is tiny, but there is local street parking available. We ordered the Thai Boat Noodle with large noodles and didn't receive the correct noodles. When I notified the server (who didn't originally take our order), she came back with Green Curry w/ chicken, but it had no spice whatsoever. We had to flag down the waitress for a few times, and at some point, we ended up just going to the front counter because we got tired of waiting for someone to come by for us to get to-go containers. Some dishes were served correctly. The Stuffed Chicken Wings tasted like lumpia, especially with the sweet chili sauce it's served with. The Drunken Noodle w/ beef tasted good, but I found the beef to noodle ratio lacking. Overall, food was decent, but service was disappointing.

So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup. It was a good idea just to do take out and eat at the hotel here.
