Been here a million times, it's my go to. Their chicken panang curry is my go to. Similar To that, the Thai peanut curry is also just as great. Sometimes I customize and add different veggies like green beans and they're always willing to accommodate my request. Need a caffeine fix? Try their thai coffee! It's sweet and tasty. They're normally very sweet but to me it tastes good. This isn't the first time I'm reviewing this so I'm surprised this shows a first. Hence I only have one picture of my latest food, beef with green beans. I would recommend ordering in advance if you want your food available asap as they take time to prepare the yummy food. Staff is friendly, they're family owned and very nice people. If you come here enough they'll remember you and have some chit chatting

Chicken pad Thai. A little extra sauce with a little extra heat. They nailed it.

This is definitely not a place people would expect to be so good. Do not let the outside looks of neighboring businesses sway your decisions away from going here. We have eaten here at least 20 times. All take out. This is definitely a really good Thai restaurant. It's family owned and the people that work there are super nice and sweet. Every time we order, the order is perfectly done. We never have any complaints. The orders are done right and we don't have anything missing when we get home. The food is super tasty and the menu is good. I'm so happy that we have some thing nearby that we can go to. And his family owned with nice owners.

Special #48, Fried rice and rice noodles with beef.

Ok, I'm ready to upgrade them to 4 stars. Had lunch with a friend. She ordered the wings, and they were crispy and delicious. I ordered special #48 which is fried rice mixed with rice noodles and I added beef. The beef was tender with a tasty marinade. Same was true of the noodles. I always struggle between a rice dish or a noodle dish. It was a relief to find a dish that featured both.

I love the crab Rangoon. It's so full of flavors and pack with crabs. The catfish curry was so good and the fish meat is very soft. Customer services was on spot. Will come back.

A hidden gem! Great food, great service. We decided to dine in as we just finished a track meet and we're very hungry. We were the only people eating in although several people popped in to grab food to go. Each table is separated by plexiglass. The waitress was kind, checked on us adequately, left a pitcher of water for us to serve ourselves throughout the meal. When you ask for spicy..please know they are not joking! My hubby loves spicy but this was a bit beyond what he could handle! Although he did finish it over 2 meals.

Hmong spicy crushed fish and fried rice and noodles

This place is a dive inside, but the people are super friendly and the food is great, so who cares! If you're eating in, know that it's tiny. There's a few booths and a couple tables. None of them are really very comfortable, but whatever. It's all kind of grimy from being old--not dirty, just run down. There's a lot of takeout business going on here. Many, many people come in to use the bathroom even though there's a sign on the door saying it's for customers only. But the service, given by the daughter of one of the cooks, was excellent! We had never eaten there before, and she answered questions, gave recommendations, and acted like we were friends without being overbearing. Very casual but very helpful and efficient. (And handled it like a pro when a table of regulars asked about her immigration status because "you're not one of the ones that should be deported." Good god.) We got one Hmong dish and two Thai dishes. All were good, but I think in general the Hmong dishes stand out more. The spicy crushed fish from the Hmong menu was not what I expected but delicious. Fried catfish filets were pounded with tons of fresh herbs and what must have been a ton of fish sauce. This stuff is quite salty, spicy and fragrant. Very strong in flavor, which is perfect for eating with rice that comes along with it. Thai peanut curry was pretty good, but I wish it had fewer green bell peppers (I think that everywhere, though; it's a personal preference). It's a cross between a peanut sauce and a red curry. The pork in that was tender and lean. Stir fried rice and rice noodles was also tasty, but it could have used more chicken. Something I noticed about other reviews is that they don't mention the heat level. They use a 5-level scale of heat, and we ordered everything smack dab in the middle (called "hot"). We are not wusses by any means, but we were sweating as we ate everything. Which was surprising since we had read reviews before going and no one seemed to mind the heat. I'd put their spice levels on par with AppeThai's "hot" and Kim's Thai 7 or 8. Oh, and the prices are dirt cheap! We'll be back.

As of 3/24/24, this place is still only open for carry-out!…read more I've heard great things about this place and have been wanting to try it for so long but my craving schedule never aligned with their times! We ordered (all with level 3 spice) panang curry, pad see ew, and their new pad thai. Although we all did level 3, we did notice some dishes leaned more spicy than others, so be careful if you're pretty sensitive to spice. I really enjoyed everything we ordered and definitely had enough for multiple meals. My favorite was the new pad thai because it reminded me of my favorite thai restaurant back home. Their pad thai is saucier and darker than what I find most places here serve. Thai A is my new go-to Thai place!

Since they were takeout only I called them in advance with no luck after calling a few times so I ordered in person and did not take them long to have my order ready, maybe 10 mins max. Food was great. It came out fresh and hot. Careful With the eggroll when fresh out of the fryer. It was pretty good. I would try their other dish next time, maybe the pads see Ew or we'll see what I'm feeling for next time! Street parking. Place is pretty simple, it's takeout only so you have space to walk in and order at the front and you can wait outside or sit at the sole chair by the register.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic!…read more We were greeted immediately when we walked in. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, so the greeter gave us some menus and let us know we could order and he'd find a table for us ASAP. We got to the counter and the cashier told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We accepted this and ordered anyway. We picked a curry, a noodle dish, and a Thai beer each. The cashier was very friendly. The original greeter found us a table almost immediately after we paid and mentioned the beer is especially nice over ice, so we took his recommendation. Beers came quickly, but food did take at least a half hour, as the cashier mentioned. Table and dining room were clean and nicely decorated with warm lighting and relaxing music. Bathrooms were also clean. Food was very good and flavorful. The portions were decent. We were full, ate most of our dishes, and didn't take anything home. The original greeter came back and checked on us while we were eating. Service was fantastic throughout the experience. The food was pricey, but aligns with other Thai restaurant prices in the area. Dishes were around $20. The whole experience was worth it. We will be returning!

I think it was alright/men overall - for me, not anything special or memorable (but if you ask my sister, their chicken dishes are good!). The hidden gem is the fried rice! Cook straight in a Wok! In my opinion this is the best fried rice, the taste does vary from chef tho, I'd say the best time to go for food is Saturday when it's fully stocked and they have their A+ crew working the kitchen. I almost forgot, their soup which is only served on the weekend is also delicious, paired with some sticky rice. Definitely worth a try if you haven't ate here yet. I also ordered the pork belly since I saw many pictures of it, and it looked pretty good. The pad Thai was flavorful and had a kick that I wanted. The pork belly was delicious. I love a good, crispy pork belly. The rice was nice and buttery paired with it.
