While we usually order healthy options, we'd love to see a deep fried chicken with Cashew Nuts, Carrots and Celery or Deep Fried Chicken with Walnuts, Sesame Seeds and Broccoli. A solid choice in the area... always steady for take out, I would never say it's busy, and almost no one eating in. Food is very tasty on standard, 3 star because it tends to super high on veg volume and lite on the protein... always and noticeably. The whole place is very clean and always well tended to which I really appreciate as it's a great sign of care... if the staff/owners don't tend to the shop what's going on with the food?! Worst Chinese food I have tasted. Saturday June 18, 7PM,order #47. Mongolian beef unlike all other restaurants. Ordered mild spice came so hot the taste spoiled the remainder of the meal. The dish was beef and snow peas and a very different sauce. This is not Mongolian beef. Moo Shu Pork, usually light and tasty seemed like something else maybe chop suey had a lot of liquid brown sauce. The third dish Kung Po was acceptable. We through out the Mongolian beef and Moo Shu. It's been a while since we had carry-out from Asian Kitchen, and had forgotten food it is. Easy to order now online, and even able to drop white rice from dishes - which we could not do before as we prefer the house special fried rice - the extra rice is a waste! Whenever we want Chinese food, we order take-out from Asian Kitchen. It's obviously a family run operation and the whole family is working very hard. The food is always freshly made and delicious. You can tell they use really good ingredients. We have probably ordered there once or twice a month for the last year. I especially like the sauce for the steamed dumplings. Our favorites are vegetable mu shu, sesame chicken, beef with mushrooms and veggie lo mein noodles. Our grandsons (6 and 7 years old) especially like the veggie lo mein noodles. The family's daughter who rings up the order is especially nice to us. When I recently left my wallet at home, she said they accept Apple Pay. That saved me a trip back home. Nice people, great food. It has been awhile since I've ordered food from here based on my past experiences. Time and time again the staff have been rude(before Covid) and messed up or forgotten food. Most food is mediocre including the dumplings, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. The one silver lining and the reason I would continue to come here was their Coconut chicken. Asian Kitchen is the best Chinese in the Lake Country area by a mile. Nowhere else comes close. We've been coming here for takeout for a couple years now, and the thing that really stands out here above all else is the consistency. Everything is exactly as ordered (They have never made a mistake with anything, no matter how minor), the food is always hot, fresh and outstanding, and the people are very friendly. As a little added bonus, they have the best egg rolls I've probably ever had - way better than other Chinese places in the area, in my opinion. Our favorite one is the shrimp egg roll, but they're great no matter what kind you get. On top of that, though, be sure to try their coconut chicken (Smaller diced chunks of white meat chicken in an outrageously good creamy coconut sauce), their chicken in garlic sauce and the fried dumplings. Chicken with garlic sauce is pretty universal and very similar no matter where you order Chinese from, but somehow Asian Kitchen's version still tops them all. This is good food at good prices, and is absolutely our go-to place for Chinese. Try it if you haven't, and soon it will be your go-to place as well. read more

It is a decent Chinese restaurant. I just graduated from college in Milwaukee, and I'm sure how Chinese fast food restaurants are. I mostly paid $7-8 for a meal at lunch with a can of soda and a spring roll. I can eat for 1.5 meal.... Please keep in your mind nothing is fancy here. It is American-Chinese food. read more

Working out in Lake Country, there are not a lot of options for lunchtime takeout. The lunch specials here are reasonably priced. For less than the cost of fast food, I can walk away with an entree, fried rice and a soda. This is a carryout kind of place, so I would not recommend eating in. Food is typical, but not memorable. When I was in the last time, I saw the kitchen microwaving the fried rice, before adding the entree. Basically, it's what I expect for my $6,00. The staff is friendly and the restaurant clean. If you need a quick bite in the area, go for it. If your're looking for great Chinese food, look elsewhere. read more

This is my go-to spot when I want to pick up something for dinner after work. They have the BEST sesame chicken. In fact, it's so good that it's the only thing I ever order. But I've been known to sample a few bites from friends and family who order other things, and it's always been good. True, it's not really a place you'd go to eat in. It's tiny, and the decor leaves something to be desired. But if you're looking for take-out, then this is IT. They give you huge portions - I usually eat until I'm stuffed the first night, and then take leftovers with me to work for lunch for the next two days. They have never gotten my order wrong, and it's always ready within a few minutes of the time they anticipate. Oh man, just writing this review is making me crave sesame chicken. Place opened relatively recently. Right next to the supermarket. It's basically a take-out place, though there are a few tables. Staff was very good. We had a huge order with a bunch of substitutions and so forth. The cashier had an accent, but understood all our nonsense and even anticipated things. The order was all as we asked for and came out relatively fast. The only issue was it was really bland. That probably works OK for this area, but I guess I got too much Big City in me. Been going here for years! This is always my go-to Asian restaurant. Pick out is always very fast. Portions are large and relatively cheap.

I have tried them several times throughout the years that they have been open. My family just doesn't care for them. Everything always tastes very bland. Kings Wok is way better. However, Golden Gate in Waukesha is even better. read more

Take out orders: Their standard is to tell you it will be ready in "20 minutes" - if you order at 4pm, it might be true, but any other time it is at least 30, sometimes 55 minutes. If you've got a hungry family at home the extra 30+ mins that you weren't counting on is a big deal. And if you mention it, they just get defensive. Service: Besides the take-out timing issue, they are very cordial, always check your order to make sure it is right. Usually very friendly. Eating in: Zero ambience. Best as a take-out place. Ordered Kung Pao chicken. I knew from the first bite something wasn't right. No sauce to begin with. Chicken looked like it was deep fried and the dish had a very oily taste .no real flavor. Fried rice was white rice w a few peas and carrots stirred in. Again a greasy flavor no real taste. I had to call since I was beating they had new ownership. Yep I was right. My experience here was bad enough that I will not be returning ever again. Told our wait was going to be 25 minutes, ended up finding out after 40 minutes that we were waiting on egg rolls. Rest of the party I came with got there food after 20 minutes. Would've been nice if they would've gave us our other food right away instead of making us wait and letting it get cold. We have gotten food here a couple times before with varying success. Nothing is very good but it's close by. Tonight we were very disappointed in the food and customer service. We ordered a "Christmas story" style meal to go and looked forward to a quirky Christmas Eve dinner. But then it was ruined. The order was messed up and we received coconut chicken instead of coconut shrimp. Therefor my daughter didn't have anything to eat because while she eats fish and shrimp she doesn't eat any land based meat. We called up to see if they could fix it and they accused us of trying to "steal" a free meal. We had the "mistake meal" to give them back but They still refused to remake the order. So As my daughter had an apple for Christmas dinner The rest of us tried to make the best of it and tried the chicken and it tasted rancid. We had stopped getting food from them for over a year. Today, we decided to give it another try and it was awful!!!! No flavor and cold even though I was there in time for the pick up. I was in there Wednesday and the guy at the counter just had a horrible attitude. Then it got worse the minute I asked him for the receipt. The food was good. I decided to go in the next day and the same guy was there and I thought maybe he would be better today perhaps he had a bad day yesterday, but apparently he was having a bad day again. I asked for a receipt and again he got upset and fling it to me. I had two meals to go one vegetarian and the other one with beef and mix vegetables, both with brown rice. When we started eating my brother noticed that his vegetarian dish had chicken in the rice and it was not brown rice. What they did was put some brown sauce on rice to make it look like brown rice. I had the same problem with the rice as well. I believe they made a mistake earlier on the day and decided to mix it with our food. We did not eat it. In fact they lost 2 clients. I'll just go to the other Chinese restaurant next to cousins in Hartland where they treat people with respect read more
