Delicious fast American Chinese food. Mainly a take out place but they have one table for 4. Lunch is a one woman show. I liked the egg rolls and egg foo Yung. No Coke Zero, only diet Pepsi. Only Styrofoam and black plastic, need to gonwith environmentally friendly containers. No need to waste plastic forks when I'm using chopsticks. Food is always amazing every time I order from here. My go to is the chicken and broccoli, it has amazing flavor to it. The menu is very large so there are a bunch of different options on meals. Is this the best Chinese food I've ever had; nope, but it wasn't bad. China One is a family run business and they are so nice, that's why I added an extra star. We didn't have a menu, so we drove there and placed the order in person. Seeing that we were waiting in the car for the order, they said they would bring it out to the car when it was ready. We ordered the scallops and shrimp, house fried rice, curry chicken, egg roll and crab rangoon. The filling for the crab rangoon was too sweet for me. The egg roll was pretty good. My favorite Chinese takeout. I go out of my way to get their pork wontons and fried rice.

I love waiting for my order because I can watch it being prepared. I got shrimp with lobster sauce and requested it to be made spicy. It was excellent! The shrimp egg roll was full of shrimp and I like the rangoon, it is full of crab and cheese and it is slightly sweet but very enjoyable. Large portions for the cost. read more

We were sitting at home thinking it's been a while since we had some good chinese food! We decided to go on yelp to find a list of the best Chinese restaurants for carry out. We saw that China One had a very good rating. Let me say we found out why! We ordered beef chop suey, chicken chow mien and my favorite chicken Egg Foo Young. This is hands down our new go to place for Chinese food!!! Very fresh! excellent flavor! tender meat! fresh tasting vegetables! We are happy we found this Great little place! If I cold give this place/experience 0-stars, I would. I read all the reviews and decided to give it a shot. Lots of hole-in-the-wall (and this most certainly qualifies) Chinese places can be quite good. Having grown up in a larger city and having had my fair share of good and bad Chinese food - this would definitely rank as quite possibly one of the grossest Chinese food experience I've had to date. Don't be a primarily carry-out place and not automatically insert some simple utensils. Unbelievable. I saw the self-serve condiment line to the left of the register... But if someone asked for REAL hot mustard, give it to them. The Moo Shoo wasn't even served with Hoisin sauce - seriously? The pancakes were funky smelling too... Odd. My wonton soup had overtly noticeable pieces of grissel in the wonton - that was a nice surprise...lol. We call that chorizo in NM and it's typically served with a delicious adovada. I've had bAd Chinese before and sometimes you can just deal with it however, this place is horrible. I have no idea what the locals find intriguingly good about this place, whatsoever. I'm sorry, my intent is certainly not to harm or belittle this establishment. This to me is absolutely horrible food, period. It's a shame too because this town seems to have a few solid nuggets to eat at. read more

We called ahead with an order for 12 people. They were very organized in taking the orders. When we arrived to pick it up, they had it hot and ready conveniently packed in a box. I read the reviews before deciding to order chicken chow mein and chicken lo mein both of which were huge disappointments. The chow mein was 98% noodles 2% chicken and vegs. The lo mein had very low flavor and sauce was like a thick gravy which I had to dilute before serving. Sorry to say both ended up in the garbage. Perhaps other menu items are better but, I would not take a chance. read more
