Booth was in dire need of a scrub down and r reupholstering. Looked like mold spots on the vision and scratches on the bench. The padding was so worn that I hit hard wood when I sat down. This location is decent, although a bit inconsistent. Often when picking up mobile orders it takes a bit for the food to be prepared. Also, the restaurant itself is typically very dirty regarding tables, which seem to be very infrequently cleaned and wiped down. The menu occasionally claims food items are out of stock when they are not. On the other hand, the staff are friendly and usually very accommodating. read more

Love a good fresh bagel. No need to even toast it. But you won't get that here. Are they making these bagels the night before??? This location is also always out of most flavors by 11 if you want one for lunch, so both of us ordered the turkey avocado BLT. Besides both coming without the bacon, the sandwiches were so sloppily put together, barely any turkey, we had to use a fork to eat. The avocado was in big chunks as were the tomatoes so they just fell out of the bread. A real mess. The soups were served luke warm. This updated review is based on the following...I previously gave this location 2 stars based on very inconsistent food. Tonight I went to this location against my better judgement. My order was taken by a woman wearing a name tag that identified her as a manager. I ordered a toasted smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich. Because of past issues with soft bread, I asked if it could be "extra" toasted. The manager gave me a puzzled look, and replied that it is toasted. I explained to her that I've ordered this sandwich at this location three times in the past, the first time the bread was toasted and the sandwich was excellent, the other two times the bread was soft and soggy and the sandwich was not very good. She offered "we can toast it a second time, if you'd like." I told her I did not want it burnt, i just wanted them to ensure that the bread was toasted and not soft. Guess what....when I got my sandwich the bread was soft. And again, the sandwich was not so good! A quick look at the receipt and the manager didn't even give the staff my request. If the manager isn't going to take the customers seriously, then who will. Panera is not cheap. It's frustrating to give a specific request and have it ignored. I placed and order for delivery they charged my credit card immediately I waited for the delivery never came went to the store! Was told that there agent did not come in to deliver my order! I called the store 4 times the line hung up 4 times no one ever answered! Speaking with the store manager she told me that sometimes the door dash delivery person will not show up unless the tip is large enough. I guess $7.50 was not enough. This Panera Bread located in a Delafield strip mall is a hot location around lunch time. I've been coming to this location for quite some time as I work in the area. You may or may not get lucky with a nearby parking spot around 11-1. Even though this location can be very busy, I've had no issues with online orders. What I especially like about this location is that I always see familiar and friendly faces. It's nice to see the same workers. This is a solid Panera location! I come here often as I work in the area and they do catering really well. On my recent visit I tried some of the soups and sandwiches: the squash, broccoli cheddar, turkey chipotle and modern caprese. Everything was really good, especially the squash soup. Only issue I had was the soup got cold really quickly which was a bit disappointing. I'm really happy with the newer healthy options they have added to the menu like the broth bowls, we also had a quinoa bowl and everyone liked it! The agave lemonade and prickly pear tea were really good as well. The service was great and the cashiers are always really friendly as well as the servers. We went for a the pick 2; my husband got a soup and sandwich, and I got a soup and 1/2 salad. The food was good, but the proportion of my salad was the worst ever! Our bill came to $32.00, and we did not order drinks, only water. I got about 1/3 cup of lettuce with some chicken & crunchy chip type things and dressing for $6.79. Won't be going back there again. This is my first Panera review]. For the most part, most Panera locations in southeast WI are the same, except that some are busier than others. We love Panera's. The sandwiches and salads are excellent, all freshly made to order. Prices are reasonable. The food and coffee is always consistently excellent. On this visit, we had just bagels and coffee. Bagels were outstanding. We love the "help yourself" coffee tables with various coffee choices, including but not limited to both Dark and Light Roast, DeCaf & Hazelnut. On this visit, a young woman by the name of "Catherine" was unbelievably friendly, funny & helpful, to the point that I just had to include her in this review. read more

This panera is in an easy location just off Hwy 94. There's always a crowd but don't let that scare you. I never wait in line because they have 5 self order kiosks just to the right in the front. This is the one place in town that has a good size salad that's always fresh and is served fast. This time around I enjoyed the Peach Blueberry Smoothie and a Southwest Chile Lime Chicken Salad. My husband ordered his salad with chicken, the chicken had absolutely no flavor. Our sandwiches came with uncooked cold bacon which was too gross to eat. The ladies room looked clean but was really stinky and a small yellow a-frame sign that was under the sink was the filthiest thing I have ever seen - not the most appetizing thing to see right before eating. Don't ever order delivery. I've given them multiple chances and it keeps getting worse. Today was the last straw. I ordered online and was quoted a 15 min delivery window. Received a text that my order was on its way and that I could track my order. I then watched my food drive all over Lake Country for 45 minutes. I'd give this location 5 stars, but the call ahead order wasn't on the designated pick up rack at the time we requested. As an older disabled veteran I was appalled by how the manger acted. it is clearly understood that getting anyone to work is difficult, no less a manger with cheerful personality, which was clearly evident at this Panera store. "bread bowl" is actually a "bread CUP" why call it a breadbowl? i asked and they put a cup worth into it. 8-10 spoonfuls and its gone since the bread absorbs much of the liquid. I have never had an order come out of this location correctly or in a timely manner. After waiting for 20 minutes, I get to my car to realize that I received chicken when I asked for none. Then having them remake the order the order took just as long, I could have gone to a grocery store, bought ingredients, and made my own meal before I received the correct order from this location. Do not order the Vegan Quinoa Lentil bowl. It's an overpriced disgusting bowl of gross bitterness! I've been going to Panera since it opened. If this was the only thing I had ever eaten there I would never return. I'm giving two stars because they do have other good food but this is just gross! My only other complaint is the "clean" silverware is often dirty. I usually ask for disposable when eating in due to this. It would also be really nice if they offered the black bean soup year round. I've stopped in this location 2 times now and had different experiences but both were not up to par with the other Panera Bread locations. The first time I walked in in the morning it took too much time for them to even greet me and take my order. I was the only person in the restaurant and it took a lot of time to get my order done (simple breakfast sandwich and chai tea). The second time I went in they greeted me right away but my order was messed up. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with just a change in bread and when I got to work I noticed there was no egg in the sandwich! they also forgot my whipped cream on my chai tea. Love Panera! Eat at different locations all the time. This particular review is about most recent dining exeperience at the Delafield location. My son ordered a Frontega Chicken panini. The first time the bread was impossible to eat - chunks of salt in it. So we took it back. They were gracious enough to make it again. 10 minutes later - still no sandwich. Why? They had burnt the bread! Third time's the charm - after about a 20 minute wait by which time the rest of us had finished eating the panini was delivered. No apology from the staff or manager.
