Left Not Mongolian Beef. Right not Moo SHU pork. If you look closely you can see the sauce in the Moo SHU

Worst Chinese food I have tasted. Saturday June 18, 7PM,order #47. Mongolian beef unlike all other restaurants. Ordered mild spice came so hot the taste spoiled the remainder of the meal. The dish was beef and snow peas and a very different sauce. This is not Mongolian beef. Moo Shu Pork, usually light and tasty seemed like something else maybe chop suey had a lot of liquid brown sauce. The third dish Kung Po was acceptable. We through out the Mongolian beef and Moo Shu. Made dinner a $40 one dish dinner. I did phone and the person confirmed that their Mongolian beef has a lot of snow peas. NEVER GOING BACK. LH

A solid choice in the area... always steady for take out, I would never say it's busy, and almost no one eating in. Food is very tasty on standard, 3 star because it tends to super high on veg volume and lite on the protein... always and noticeably. The whole place is very clean and always well tended to which I really appreciate as it's a great sign of care... if the staff/owners don't tend to the shop what's going on with the food?! No doubts here... fresh and clean :)

Love this place not only for takeout during the work week, but also great on a Sunday! Friendly, quiet, safe. Thank you Asian Kitchen Team!

Wow, I must be special, because I had a five star experience at The Commodore. Perhaps it was…read morebecause we dined in the middle of May on a chilly, but sunny evening, but the gorgeous place was empty. The Commodore is a beautiful restaurant. Completely redone by the experienced folks with the Bartolotta Group, the space is a knock out! My spouse and I arrived early and grabbed some drinks at the expansive bar overlooking the lake. The staff was warm and engaging, and I'm difficult, asking tons of questions and making irreverent comments. They rolled along, laughing and adding to our good time. I'm always wary in Lake Country, because my politics and affect differ from the majorioty, but the Commodore makes no distinctions. When our friends arrived, we grabbed a table and had a fantastic meal. Our Wiener Schnitzel was great, and our friends raved about the Beef Wellington. Service at the table was professional and well-trained. Maybe because I travel and have lived in several metropolitan areas, I found the prices more than reasonable for the gestalt experience. In fact, I think the Commodore is one of the best restaurants in the Milwaukee Metro. Bravo!

Other evenings throughout Lent will support different organizations. For $30 we enjoyed a wide-ranging buffet which included clam chowder, salad, potato pancakes, fish tenders, small red potatoes, pearl carrots, and a variety of desserts. We took our time and enjoyed each course, and also the ability to have easy conversations in a nicely quiet room. The Old Fashioned drinks were done well, and the entire evening was very nice. The fish buffet was held upstairs with a beautiful view of Nagawicka Lake. The tables are spaced apart nicely and the service was attentive. There is an elevator for those who need accessibility, as well as restrooms that are spacious for wheelchair access. There is plenty of parking.

He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and great with his attention to us. Great recommendations for drinks and wine. He paced our meal very well. The Shrimp appetizer "Special" was very good along with their house made Sauce and the French Onion soup was great, with plenty of onions and a wonderful broth. For our meals I had the "Overnight" Prime rib and it was delicious as was my wife's Salmon. The kitchen was great in their presentation and flavors. They even "split" my Cesar salad w/o being asked to, as we had told Austin we were probably going to share it.. To top off our meal we had their Schaum torte and it was the best we ever had. The meringue was perfectly done and not too hard, just practically melt in your mouth... The whole staff paid attention to the tables and dirty dishes did not stay on the table very long. It was a totally wonderful night out and we plan to return soon and of course we will request to have Austin as our server. Thank you Red Circle Inn ! ! ! Read less

First time here except for a fundraiser last year. We wanted to find out which of the previous…read morereviews was true. A Tuesday night with a 6:00pm reservation, we were greeted by a smiling young lady who made sure our visit started off right; coats stored, did we want a drink in the bar first, would we like a wine menu? All great questions. We were seated at a small table for two, which at first look seemed uncomfortable, but it was just fine. We had Old Fashioneds and were given a relish platter, which was mostly olives and a few small crackers with a spread, all very supper club traditional. We then ordered the Exotic Mushrooms, where the crispy ciabatta toast was a nice combination for this unusual appetizer. It was a big order, so we actually took some home. The House Signature Overnight Prime Rib was our choice with mashed potatoes and horseradish sauce on the side. These were done to perfection (medium rare) and a good size. My only changes would be a little less au jus with the Prime Rib. It was swimming on the plate and looked a bit overwhelming. Our server was Christine M., and to say she made our meal wonderful from start to finish is an understatement. She obviously enjoys her job and knows how to make everyone feel welcome, which goes a long way towards a great meal. As we asked questions, she gently directed us to the best options, and her knowledge and attention to detail made our choices easy. Red Circle Inn did well when they hired her. As a surprise treat, I got a birthday ice cream sundae, which was delicious! Rich ice cream with just the right amount of whipped cream, chocolate, and sprinkles on top. Thank you for this treat! After this visit, I hope to return soon. The pricing was appropriate, and we left with enough food for another meal another day. Thank you, Christine! We always appreciate being treated well by a knowledgeable and friendly server. You made our evening.

By time we left there was a line at the door. The restaurant is intimate feeling and the low light created the perfect cozy feeling. There are good variety of table sizes for all types of groups, and outdoor seating for those warmer days and nights. Looking around as we were deciding on what to order, everything that was being delivered to tables around us, looked delicious! I ordered the Tortelloni Della campagna, an amazing mushroom filled pasta dish. Everything was so good and the perfect serving size. There are plenty of options of wine to go with your pasta dish. I am excited to come back and try more!

Tried the 3 for $35 weeknight special, which included an appetizer, entree and dessert. My bruschetta appetizer was fresh and loaded with plenty of tomato. Loved the pesto on top. For the entree, I went with their famous Rigatoni Bolognese, and it mostly lived up to the hype. For dessert, I had to try the creme brulee. It was carmalized nicely and the custard was delicious, but it could have benefited from some additional fruit toppings or something else to push it above ordinary. All in all, it was a fun night with friendly service and some pretty tasty classic Italian dishes.
