Food quality...spotty. Hours a mystery. Staff doesn't look you in the eye. Very, very, dated decor.

Most orders filled quickly. Food ok, but I prefer the buffet style food at the restraunt in West Bend.

We were there for happy hour, which had great deals on their popular drinks and all apps! I love their margarita and the fried calamari was delicious. The sauce they serve with many dishes is so incredible!! My walleye sandwich was fabulous - it was a Friday and I wished the server pointed out that it was the special before I ordered, but now I know! It is a fun, busy, bustling bar and dining area. It was very fun over all!

We were seated promptly, and within a minute or so our waiter introduced himself. Since we'd already looked at the menu, we placed our order right away. We all started with a cup of clam chowder. It came out warm, creamy, and comforting--definitely something I could see myself enjoying even more once the weather cools down. For our main course, we all went with the fish fry. I chose the grouper, while my parents went with the cod. The fish fry was decent overall. My grouper came out piping hot, and I really liked the breading, but as a table we left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I should have gone with my other choice--the ahi tuna sandwich. All in all, I'd give the meal itself a solid 3 stars. It wasn't the best fish fry I've had, but I wouldn't write the place off. Next time, I'd like to come back and try one of their non-fried options

This was at lunchtime when it wasn't very busy at all. I started to think they had actually forgotten about the order. There was also a pesky fly that just wouldn't go away. When the food came, it was pretty good. The thin crust pizza was very tasty and loaded with toppings. And the Greek salad, which came well after the pizza, was great. Fresh lettuce, Kalamata olives, tomato, feta and abundant Greek dressing on the side. We ordered the $4.95 protein-shrimp on top. Asked for them grilled and they came out beautifully. Correctly grilled and tasty. Large jumbo shrimp, a whopping 9 of them on top of a small salad. I'm guessing they may have been frozen, which is why it took so long to make the food. And perhaps they gave us extra since we waited so long. But the add on process is the same for either a small or large salad, so that could play a role. Overall, the food was tasty but the wait for it (despite ordering almost immediately upon being seated) was very long. Don't risk it if you're in a rush to get back to work! Will give it another try when we have much time to spare.

We had to wait a moment for our table, but got a spot at the bar for two very affordable drinks (a dirty martini for me, an old fashioned for him). The service was great and the meal was to die for. We had steak and seafood with a wedge salad to start and it was so fresh and delicious. I'm happy I researched and stumbled upon this establishment.

There are two levels, with bar and dining downstairs, with more seating upstairs. It's dark inside. Had 6:00 reservations on a Wednesday night, and got right in. Our server got us set up with menu, and drinks right away. We ordered a couple of appetizers including the meatballs, and a sampler plate with fried mushrooms, duck strips, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Our entrees included the filet, rib steak, bbq ribs, scampi, and french dip. The appetizers were okay. Not a fan of all the heavily fried items. The meatballs were tasty and probably the best of the items. (although the presentation was not very appetizing). We also got served warm bread sticks, and honestly I love warm bread but they seemed over warmed and tough. I did not finish mine. My Lobster was very good. The other parts of the meal were subpar. The salad seemed whilty and the vegetable medley was over cooked and flavorless. Tried some of the items. The filet, and rib steak were both excellent. The bbq ribs were okay, but a little overcooked (i like to have a little chew). They stopped over with the dessert tray and were very persuasive. Did save a little room for the Peanut Butter Brownie Torte. That was very good. The evening was kind of mixed bag. The service was spotty and some of the food items were not remarkable. If I went back I would skip the appetizers and just focus on the steak and lobster choices. The prices are reasonable, so perhaps its a good value for some customers.

We tried multiple different cocktails, and loved each one. We all enjoyed our dinner entrees, which were beautifully plated. The service was top notch, even offering to take photos for us to remember our fun evening. Their menu appears to rotate often and is somewhat limited, so make sure to check the menu before you go if you are someone with specific food interests. We found the menu to offer multiple things each of us would enjoy. We can't wait to visit again!

The vibe is on point, low lighting, rustic - a versatile spot to go with girlfriends or for a date night. The wait staff is always attentive and informational, providing suggestions when we are looking for guidance on what to choose. This time around I went with a girlfriend and we decided to share a couple apps and an entre. We started with their seasonal burrata that was bursting with flavor. It was both savory and citrusy, a really nice compliment. We did have to order a side of bread with it, so that's one improvement the restaurant could make - bread is a necessity with a cheese dish! Next up we ordered their Mixed Greens Salad which was a perfect light & tangy salad with a little bit of sweetness. Highly recommend. Finally, we shared the seared walleye entree. I pretty much order fish everytime I come here because they cook it to perfection and it's something I can't make at home as easily. The walleye did not disappoint and was so flavorful and enough food for us to share. We ordered the perfect amount to split between the 2 of us. Can't wait to go back, keep up the good work!

St. Paul Fish Market is located inside the very busy and popular Milwaukee Public Market indoor shopping complex downtown. It reminds me of the Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle. The only parking option that I am aware of is metered street parking. The building has 2 levels but the 1st floor is where most of the business are. It appeared to me that St. Paul's is the most popular business there. It is a seafood restaurant and fresh fish market. They have a small sit down area for table service dining or you can order your food to go at the counter. After being seated and reviewing the menu I decided to order the same meal I had over 11 years ago. I went with a bowl of clam chowder for $8 to start and then added a fried grouper sandwich ($16) with french fries for another $2.50. The chowder was perfect. Flavorful, delicious and I wanted more (5). The sandwich also was delicious and satisfying made with quality fish, lettuce, tomato, and bread. However while it tasted very good halfway through eating it the bread bun started to disintegrate and then quickly turned to mush before I could finish. Then I needed a fork to finish it. It got messy and I don't like that in a sandwich. It's only for that reason I give an overall 4 score instead of a 5. The french fries were very good tasting too but I had ordered too much food and only had room for a few of them. The table service was very warm and friendly. I believe St. Paul's is a very good choice for a casual seafood meal but please buy more sturdy buns!
