This place has been open under a couple owners/cooks/management. When the food is on--it is the best Thai in Ashburn. Their serving sizes seem to have gone down and their prices up of late. Service is very good and the place is clean. They have a nice street cart menu selection, which is supposedly authentic Thai street food. Good. Over priced. Also, if I order it chef hot, I do not expect the same dish to have 3 different levels at three different times of ordering. What gives? Need more quality control. Have always loved their pad Thai, have been getting it for years and am a loyal customer. However today when I ordered my usual, I asked for extra duck sauce, and they said they wouldn't do it unless I paid for it. Never have I been told I had to pay for the extra sauce, but they would not budge. I asked for the manager and was told he wasn't available, and that is was OK to lose me as a customer if I didn't like it. What a terrible way to run a business. First Thai food in years and it was solid. Pad Thai was both nicely spiced and sweet. The Drunken Noodles were good and hot enough to melt your socks. They have a small selection of Thai beer. Ambiance was nice and soft. We saw 10 people come and go with take out but I would recommend a sit-down...the staff is nice and polite. read more

Meal was very good! Service was excellent and the gentleman waiting on me was pleasant and attentive. I got the Chicken Pad Se Ew. Had a spectacular meal last night at the new Thai Ashburn Restaurant. The crying tiger had us crying for more! The pad thai has a delicate flavor and the noodles were the perfect texture. Without a doubt, one of the best Thai places in Ashburn. This little restaurant made our company's luncheon schedule and we eat here about once a week. You can't go wrong with any of the lunch specials and are only paying a little more than fast food. Don't get too courageous with the menu as I had, however. This used to be Burpa Thai. I went in for lunch. The menu has a choice of 2 entrees with lunch. It also comes with a fresh salad. The menu also has authentic street dishes found in Thailand. The first time I had Pad Thai and Panang Curry. It was the best Panang Curry I have ever had. Pad Thai was also exceptional. Second visit I tried the traditional pork on the back of the lunch menu. Rude employees. Delivery guy demanded a tip. I told him it was already in the bill. He said, "how much did you give?" And looked at the receipt. Then gave a pissed off puff and walked away. My family and I absolutely love this place! Even when my in-laws visit from out of town they request this place for dinner. Though I've never dined in, I've ordered carry out several times and I love the atmosphere and decor. The staff is always kind, and they even bring me a beverage while I wait for my order. We've also ordered delivery, and it's always delivered in a timely manner. We've never been disappointed in a dish, and even my picky three year old loves their food. Good food and great service! They have a decent selection of authentic Thai food items. It's relatively more pricey than other Thai restaurants I've been to. The food is average (the closest thai restaurant near me, so I go often because I'm lazy to travel farther). The service is horrible; I ordered at 9:30 (near closing time) and I heard the waitress say pick up in 30 minutes. Then, they call me back in ten minutes and say, "are you picking up your food", and I said yes, I thought you said in 30 minutes. Then, the waitress said "oh my god, I said 5 minutes" and was acting very annoyed and bitchy, and while I was apologizing and saying it was an honest mistake, she hung up on me. Later, when I called back to confront her, she claimed to not have hung up on me. I don't often have bad experiences with them (the waiters and waitresses are not super nice but they bring the food out and don't make many problems), but this one annoyed me and I get that maybe she was having a bad day, but she still shouldn't put it out on customers, especially loyal ones. read more

This Thai restaurant is very good and has nice options on their menu! I like the thai-rama dish, ginger chicken, and panang especially. Also have tried their pad thai, satay, and fried rice - they are very good too. The delivery is very prompt. They usually tell me 45 mins but are here in 25-30 mins. We love this place. The Panang chicken and drunken noodles with any kind of meat is delicious and our go to for Thai in Ashburn. It's a small eat in spot but that doesn't take away from the quality of food you get. Bonus points to them for delivery since they are one of the few good spots that deliver. Stopped for a late lunch so the place was pretty empty and quiet. We've been looking for a good Thai place closer to us. This place is really good. We had Panang pork and Crispy Basil Duck.
