This is solid halal Thai food in a convenient part of Bellevue. The pricing is decent (around $12 per entree) and the food is good with generous serving sizes. The menu isn't huge, but the staples seem to be really good (chef's special, phad thai, phad kee mao). The chicken is done well, flavorful and not dry, and the noodles were perfect. I think the food was a bit on the milder side though, so I'd ask for a spicier level when I go back next time. I believe they have four levels of spice. I'll be back to try the curries later too! I'd recommend the chef's special combo for anyone trying it out for the first time - $2 on top of the regular chef's special, and you get phad thai in addition to the rice. There are two food trucks at this gas station. A taco truck and this Thai food truck. The Thai food truck is parked hugging adjacent to the side of the building so you will not see if before passing along the street going east bound. I asked what their most popular dish was and they told me the garlic chicken. For those of you who don't know, garlic wok fried chicken is as popular in Thai kitchens as orange chicken is in Chinese kitchens. The chicken was stale and obviously fried many hours before, if not the day before. Some of the bits of fried garlic were also stale and the entree was on the salty side- a sign that the food was premade and reheated as it loses moisture. I could see myself giving it another try down the road if I'm in the mood for Thai food and don't wanna walk into a sit down restaurant....but honestly for 15 bucks I could have done better. We're usually order food over here and usually get basil fried rice and chicken 65. Normally, the service and food are really quality and tasty. Today we ordered pineapple fried rice and surprised that they didn't put pineapple in there and it took almost 2 hrs to get delivered. Got home from a delayed flight and we're super hungry. There's no option on the Eastside for any food past 11 PM, so we were thrilled to see this as an option on Yelp. Found out they have only been open for 4 months and it is an absolute hidden gem. It's a truck hidden behind an Arco gas station that is open until 3 AM. We ordered the pad thai and it was some of the best we have had in a long time. It wasn't greasy like you'd expect from a food truck. This is a place I will definitely stop by again. This should be closer to 4 stars, but their inconsistency caused me to round down from 3.5 to 3. The first time I had the Thai 65 Chicken it was fantastic and I was super impressed. However since then I've ordered a few times and it seems like the chicken quality has gone down and they put more filler cabbage at the bottom and less chicken, so you're really getting like a bunch of rice and cabbage with just a scoop of chicken, not enough to fully satisfy my hunger. I've also tried the curry - the red curry is good, the panang curry was just alright. The most frustrating part is their availability - google and Yelp says they are open 7pm to 2am except for Tuesday when they are closed but I came by at 830pm on a Thursday and the truck was closed. Also on Uber eats, they are constantly offline and not open when they should be. It sucks because I actually like the concept of a late night Thai food, especially for delivery, but unfortunately you can't rely on them to be open. This food truck is hidden away to the side in the parking lot of the gas station. I was confused at first considering there was another food truck but they were closed. Another time I found them.
