FOGO DE CHÃO is brilliant and absolutely phenomenal if you're looking for a Brazilian steakhouse!!! That's about all that needs to be said... period. But that's not my style so here I go... First off, the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant as you immediately step inside is spectacular. It's elegant but with a casual feel. Or maybe it was its casual with an elegant vibe... either way, you cannot go wrong. Depending on the time of day, if the wait is long, I'd suggest grabbing a drink from the full bar. Once seated, we ordered our drinks and headed over to the salad bar/cold cuts and grabbed some select items. I'm always careful to not overload on the trimmings as I'm here for the various cuts of meats. Pretty simple process. You flip your marker (green) over for cuts of meat being offered and over again (red) if you want to enjoy your meal. Then on and off again. The skewers of meat are divine, ranging from bacon wrapped chicken, to sausages, to a variety cuts and cooked beef, pork, or lamb. I opted for a 6oz. I believe the smoked salmon from the market table was spoiled, as I became extremely ill after dinner. No one else in my party who did not eat the smoked salmon became sick, so I am confident it was the source of what appears to have been food poisoning. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be investigated promptly for the safety of other guests. Additionally, the managers advised me that my receipt would be emailed to me, but I still have not received it. It has now been three days since I made that request. I'm very disappointed by the lack of follow-up and would appreciate having my receipt emailed to me immediately. read more

The restaurant is beautiful. The service is great. I was so excited to enjoy the food, but it was just okay. I'm used to a restaurant like this one in California called Texas de Brazil. The set up is exactly like FOGO so I was expecting the same amazing food. But FOGO was disappointing. The salad bar just wasn't very good. The selection was smaller and not as tasty. Everything I tasted was under seasoned and just not very good. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben's boxed instant rice. The beans were good but nothing special. The meat was under seasoned as well. Definitely not what I was expecting from a Brazilian steakhouse. The service was excellent and the meat guys were bringing us different cuts continually. But unfortunately the food was under par. I usually come for the churrasso experience but today I wanted to try out the happy hour bar food. Aside from some food items being forgotten, the food we did receive was delicious. It took a while to get half our order bc of a kitchen mix up but everything ended up being good. The burger and fries were delicious and only $10! The only notes I have is that the chicken sliders came with two sliders and one of the sliders only had chicken for half the slider. We were also charged for yucca fries they forgot to give us and we ended up just not getting them. To make it up to us and bc it was my bfs birthday, they gave us a free dessert and we chose the tres leches which was a 10/10. Been a couple times for the churrasco and it was fantastic. If you are slightly less hungry, I highly recommend happy hour in the bar. They have a picanha burger that's delicious and my favorite two options are the 8 oz filet and the beef rib. Both are surprisingly good deals at $17.50 for the filet and $15.50 for the beef rib! It's also all day happy hour with $10 cocktails, $8 glasses of wine, and $6 beers all day (fantastic for Bellevue!). Great place to grab a bite after work and catch up! Had an alright experience at Fogo de Chão in Bellevue. We visited for weekday lunch, so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but it still took a few minutes before the host acknowledged and seated us. The Market Table was definitely the highlight of the meal. There was a wide variety of options and everything looked fresh and well stocked. If I were to return, it would likely be for the Market Table alone. Unfortunately, the meat service was a bit disappointing. Early on, I let the servers know I was especially interested in trying the cordeiro and picanha, but those cuts didn't make their way to our table until much later in the meal. One interaction also left a sour impression. A server repeatedly asked if I wanted meat despite my card being flipped to red. When I declined and mentioned the cuts I was waiting for, he rolled his eyes and walked away. The food itself was solid, but the service didn't quite meet the level I was expecting. While I wouldn't return for the full churrasco experience, I would happily pay for access to the Market Table again. read more

I had a terrible experience at another location 3 years ago where our waitress disappeared, so it was frustrating to have something similar happen again here. We originally planned to order the Indulgent menu for three to get the lobster tail. Our waiter suggested doing two churrasco dinners plus the seafood tower instead, saying we'd get more seafood for about the same price. I mentioned we also wanted the free dessert that comes with the Indulgent menu, and he reassured us, "I got you on desserts." We appreciated the deal. However, about 20 minutes later, he completely disappeared, likely having clocked out. When we were ready for dessert, we had to flag down another staff member, who said she didn't know who our waiter was or where he went. She initially told us she could only offer one free dessert, which wasn't what we had been promised. Eventually, a manager stepped in and honored it, which we appreciated. Still, it was concerning that no one seemed to know who our server was. If shifts are ending, there should be a proper handoff instead of just leaving tables unattended. Service felt rushed as shifts were ending. When we asked for more cheese, one staff member seemed reluctant, then later dropped off a full plate of something else when I only wanted one piece. She clocked out and left at the same time as us. The ambiance was nice, but I was surprised my clothes smelled afterward. This didn't happen at a way smaller location I've visited. Food was mostly good, with a few misses. No one brought us filet mignon until I specifically requested it near the end. The biggest disappointment was the "seafood tower," which turned out to be more of a basic seafood plate. For $112 (before tax), it was very underwhelming, bland, overcooked, and chewy, with no sauces to complement it. We came for the steaks but ended up spending a good 20-30 minutes on seafood that was completely tasteless. I'd never get seafood here again. Went to Fogo de Chão for a friend's birthday, and overall it was a mixed experience. The meats were unfortunately very salty--like the kind of salty that almost hurts your tongue after a while. That said, I really enjoyed the Market Table (side bar). There were a lot of great options, and everything there tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service was also a highlight--everyone was super friendly, and some of the staff were joking around, which made the experience feel more personal and fun (especially with everyone coming around with the meats lol). I came here on a Friday evening for an anniversary, and it was a good experience. As usual, the service was solid, and we ordered food à la carte instead of getting the Churrasco experience for once. We ordered the tomahawk steak, lobster mac and cheese, and my favorite, pao de queijo (cheese bread) on the side. The pao de queijo came out first and they gave us three orders of it, which I thought was very generous, absolutely delicious, and so fresh from the oven. Since the tomahawk and lobster mac and cheese were taking a while to arrive, they offered us complimentary access to the market table, so I grabbed some food there to tide me over until our food arrived. In my opinion, we weren't waiting that long for the food, maybe about 15 minutes. Maybe they felt bad for us since all the servers for the Churrasco experience were walking around with really yummy looking food. Either way, I really appreciated the gesture and our food arrived shortly after. The tomahawk steak was very good, and it was cool that the block they served it on kept cooking the meat so you could cook it to your preference before eating, and it kept the meat warm. The lobster mac and cheese was alright, glad we tried it this time but don't think I'd get it again. The cheese seemed a little dry and it was a bit too heavy on the crunchy breadcrumbs. Since this was an anniversary, they gave us a complimentary dessert of our choice. We ordered the crème brûlée, and a chocolate lava cake arrived at our table instead. Not a big deal since I love chocolate and ice cream, but I was looking forward to trying the crème brûlée. Guess I'll just have to come back haha. We came for early dinner on a weekend and usually come at least 3 times a year for dates or birthdays. This was by far the worst experience we have had in years of visiting the restaurant. The noise level was extremely high. The ambiance was still clean and well kept. However, the buffet was relatively low stocked despite a decent amount of customers. The food itself was good, but saltier than normal. The service was terrible. The waiter who served our waters dropped them off and disappeared for the evening. The meats for the churrasco experience came around, but were slow and they even stopped coming about 40 minutes into dinner, perhaps they assumed we were done despite having our green cards for more food placed. We had to track down additional food. No one came back to refill our drinks or check in and we had to wait 25 minutes after requesting the check before we walked around, asked the hostess who seemed unable to find someone and finally brought us the check herself. On the bright side parking was easy and free. Overall, extremely disappointed since we used to love Fogo. Will likely not be back for a while if at all. There are better places for steak with great service at that price point. read more

I feel mixed in writing this review and would give it a 3.5 rating if I could. It was my first time trying Fogo de Chao - I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses but this was my first time with this chain. Since I hadn't been before, I decided to do the full churrasco to try the various types of meat. The meats seemed to circulate at an uneven pace - I would either have nothing on my plate or four types (not sure if that was due to cooking time or what). Some meats (sirloin, ribeye, house picanha) were delicious and others were overdone and dry. My main issue was with the service. A couple people from my table pointed out that there was mold in the raspberries in the market table/buffet and nothing was done about it. This is a health code violation and should be taken seriously. I understand the star of the meal and priority is the meat but the buffet needs to be tended to as well. Anyway, after a couple mentions there was finally follow up that the raspberries had been cleared/taken away so there shouldn't be any issues. Someone (possibly a manager) offered us comped desserts for the issue but that wasn't really the point. Not sure I would return but if I do, at least it's in a convenient location! read more

Although we have Fogo back home, this was my first time trying it! Similar to other Brazilian steakhouses, they have guys that come to your table with different cuts of meats for you to choose from. My personal favorites were the filet and picanha that were both very meaty and tender. I also love the wide variety at the salad bar to help pair with the meats. My husband and I had a 7pm reservation on a Friday night but showed up 30 min early after seeing a movie and they were thankfully able to seat us earlier. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses but this was my first time at Fogo de Chao. We both went with the full Churrasco for the experience. Similar to other reviewers I felt like the meats came around in waves, making for awkward periods of waiting for more food. The ribeye was pretty good but some of the other cuts of meat seemed a bit dry/tough. Whenever they were walking around with more meat it seemed quite chaotic in the restaurant. We were seated in the back by what I assumed was an event space and that area was especially a bit tight and chaotic with employees coming in and out of there. One thing I did really love was the fresh pineapple! The guy carrying that one kept running out so fast. It was delicious and paired very nicely with the steak. It's a great location too, so much to do nearby. They also validate parking which is a plus. Overall, I would say the Churrasco experience is not worth the price. For 2 people we paid close to $200 when it was all said and done. For that price I would rather go somewhere with a more romantic and peaceful ambiance. read more

Came here Saturday night to celebrate my boy's promotion and let me tell you this was the right move. Bellevue does not play around! First things first, make the reservation. Do not just pull up thinking you're beating the system. The line was long and I overheard the party behind us say they were quoted over an hour. Could not be me. Save yourself the time and lock it in ahead of time As soon as we walked in the service was on point. Nicole was our server and she took care of us the entire night. Super attentive, quick with refills, flipping our cards at the right time, checking in without hovering. Anything we needed she handled fast. That kind of service makes a big difference when it's packed on a Saturday I've been to the Fogo de Chão location a bunch, but the Fogo de Chão spot honestly tops it. It's bigger, feels more upscale, and the whole vibe is just more boujee in the best way. The meat runners were coming out back to back so you definitely have to be selective or you'll tap out early. I was very excited to come here with my family, and overall experience was very good, and the waiters/ waitress were very friendly. The restaurant looked very modern and elevated, with great mood lighting, as well as a very fresh-smelling bathroom. We came for the full churrasco experience, and it was not as good as I expected, since the meat, except for the filet mignon, was a bit chewy and not very tender. The market table was phenomenal, and it had great variety, with a delicious tomato mozzarella bisque as the soup of the day, and a variety of fresh fruits to choose from, ranging from papayas to oranges. Additionally, the sides, especially the cheese bread, were scrumptious. Overall, the experience was unique and the food was decent, but if you have a low sodium tolerance like me, everything would be really, really salty. PS: it was $72 per person, and not really worth the price unless if you can really eat a lot (it only took a few pieces for me to feel full). I recommend fasting before coming. read more

We went for an early dinner last Friday. They were offering 50% off the full Churrasco meal for veterans. I think that is one of the many pluses for this restaurant There were four of us. 3 adults and a toddler. The entrees includes the salad bar and the Feijoada Bar. The salad bar includes smoked salmon slices that my granddaughter aged 5 couldn't get enough of along with fresh pineapple slices. She also loved the beef off of the beef rib bone that I ordered off of the bar menu (this menu is offered all day) We all enjoyed our dinner, and will continue to gather for family meals here A bit pricey but good for dining on "special" occasions. We were at the mall and decided to stop by Fogo de Chão for their all-day happy hour -- and I'm so glad we did! We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered a Skinny Caipirinha and a Passion Fruit Caipirinha. Both were absolutely fantastic -- strong, balanced, and just $10 each. The bartender was a total pro and even brought over some complimentary Brazilian cheese bread. We also ordered a plate of yucca fries, which paired perfectly with the drinks. I was able to finally try FOGO and it was a cool experience! I had their Full Churrasco meal which was $69 per person. It was basically AYCE steak/meats. There were some meats I really liked, like their Filet, Ribeye, Pork Belly, and Top Sirloin. But there were some meats where it was okay. On top of that, there were some meats that were pretty salty. There were servers constantly walking around serving meats if you're looking to grab a slice. Sometimes it's a bit hard to get the meat you're looking for, however, you can ask the employees for that specific meat and they'll relay that message to the person that has it. There's a self serve salad bar which is decently big. It also has some meats and bread too which is cool. If it's your birthday, you're able to have a free desert of your choice! The crème brûlée cheesecake was an interesting experience. I personally didn't like the brûlée with the cheesecake. It was still kind of good though. The ambiance was nice! Great lighting and it was clean and organized. There is a lot of seating as well. Overall, a cool experience but I am not sure if I'd do this again. read more

Service wise, we reserved a table again this time at 7 pm for 6 people. All of us got there at 6:55 and checked in. We didn't get sat for at least 30 minutes. Please tell me what is the point of reservations if we are not gonna get sat on time? The lady at the front check in also had an annoyed attitude when we check in with them after 15 minutes and just told us to keep waiting. Once we sat down, our server just never seems very attentive. Like he greeted us, and took our "orders" but that was pretty much it. There was not really any smile and I'm not saying you have to have the brightest smile every time you talk to us but at least something if you working in the service industry? Food wise: it's still pretty much the same. Some cuts are tender but it is a hit or miss. Because some are over cooked and others are just right. But overall, most of the cuts were all salty. Place is quiet and our party of 4 really enjoyed hearing each other in conversation. Our server led us to an area for Happy Hour patrons, near the bar by the window. We celebrated Father's Day here yesterday. We were running late and Rosie was so sweet and checked us in with a smile. There was such a big crowd, and she was calm and composed, so nice that she's the first person you see when you step into the restaurant. We were seated in Angie's section and she took such good care of us, checking in on us frequently, making sure we have new plates and getting the cuts that we want when the servers missed our table. We love the lamb chops and beef ribs, they are our favorite. Love trying a little bit of everything. Oh yes, they have waffles and omelettes for brunch. The managers were great too, introducing themselves and taking care of issues immediately when we pointed them out. My husband loves his meats, so we will definitely be back. read more

Me and my wife Enjoyed Fogo de Chão so much on Valentine's Day the service was great and our waiter was awesome very helpful for our first time there. The Picanha was definitely our favorite cut of meat. The music and the atmosphere was great especially the lights getting brighter over the course of our meal seeing the sunset was very pleasant the Fried Plantains was a nice treat along with the mash potatoes were very delicious. The cheese bread was really good lived up to its expectation. Enjoyed it and would definitely bring friends and family for a second visit! Let me just name my bias right off the bat: I prefer Texas de Brasil. While I'm glad I got to try this place, it left me wanting a lot more. Pricing wise, Fogo is slightly cheaper but you can tell - the buffet area with all the little sides left a lot to be desired. The beans were watered down, the rice was bland, and the soup was tomato. You can't compare that to TDB's lobster bisque. The cold meats, specifically the prosciutto, had an odd color. The mortadela was fine. The choice of cheeses was lackluster - TDB has manchego, for crying out loud! And no scalloped potatoes either. Boo. The meats is where my husband and I disagree on. He liked Fogo's meats more because they do season them better than TDB - HOWEVER, the meat quality was pretty bad in my opinion. A quarter of my plate was used up to house fats, tendons, etc. I couldn't chew through most of the meats. Some good ones were the lamb and the sirloin, but the rest were just bad quality to me. As far as everything else goes, our server was really pleasant and engaging. The servers that go around with the meats were very attentive, specially after we began to speak Spanish to them. The restaurant is very nice and the parking is right around the corner, so that's useful. We were sat in a tiny area between a big table and a server's stop, and the carpet smelled like wet dog. The lunch prices are so much more reasonable than dinner time. you can get a market table $18 and ale carte meat like picanha $16 for a fraction of the normal price during dinner time. This is for weekday lunches. And the portion size (maybe 6 or 8 oz of meat?) is not bad at all. We dined here with two other couples and thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Brazilian steakhouses can be so fun and enjoyable if done right but I'm not sure that fogo really hits the mark for me. First, and most importantly, the meats just don't really meet my expectations for a restaurant whose specialty is meat. They have a lot of options but honestly I really only enjoy 2 or 3 depending on the day (garlic picanha and top sirloin). I've been to fogo 3 times but I feel like they are inconsistent with the flavors of each cut. For example, last time I really enjoyed the classic picanha but this time I felt like it lacked flavor. While they are cooked well and have a good variety in doneness, I think a lot of cuts that are usually pretty flavorful at other restaurants just fall short for me here. I also am aware that it is part of the business model to fill you up with cheaper sides and at the salad bar but I can't get behind bringing all the extra sides to each table without asking diners if they want it. I have yet to see a table actually eat most of these and I can't help but think about the amount of wasted food it causes. The caramelized bananas are yummy but it just feels like a huge waste. I usually don't comment on things being stocked because I understand that restaurants get crazy and there usually isn't anyone specifically assigned to restock bathrooms but I went in today and there was no toilet paper in 2/3 stalls and only one soap dispenser with soap in it. The highlight of my lunch was the Brazilian lemonade, I do recommend that! I think Brazilian steakhouses are a fun experience but only if the restaurant is really hitting most of the marks. For me the price point doesn't make sense with the flavor of the meats and I usually find myself a little disappointed when I leave. For the price we're paying, I would rather pick out one delicious steak at another restaurant. read more

Last night, we had dinner at your restaurant and paid nearly $200 for a meal for two people. We expected a quality dining experience and, most importantly, safe food. Instead, shortly after our meal, both of us developed severe food poisoning and had to seek medical treatment at the hospital. Paying $200 for dinner and ending up in the hospital is absolutely horrible and completely unacceptable. Customers should never have to worry that a meal at your restaurant could make them seriously ill. This incident raises serious concerns about food safety, hygiene, and quality control in your establishment. We strongly urge management to investigate this matter immediately and take all necessary measures to ensure that no other customers have to go through what we experienced. This place was PACKED on a Sunday evening! So glad I made reservations beforehand, as there were people waiting outside for over an hour. There's an underground parking garage. We were seated quite promptly and our server came quickly to help us get oriented to the restaurant. We opted for the limited-time $49 special which includes the salad bar and most meat cuts. The salad bar is self serve, and also includes charcuterie meats and cheeses. The servers come around with Churrasco meats and offer you a slice. It is good manners to use the small tongs provided on each plate setting to grab your slice of meat. Everything was delectable. My favorite was the top sirloin. They also offer side dishes of fried polenta, caramelized bananas, mashed potatoes, and my favorite Brazilian cheese bread! We got refills of the bananas because they were so good. Despite being completely packed and super busy, servers were attentive, our waters were refilled promptly, and the Churrasco servers all came around in a timely manner. Come hungry. Personally, I'm not a fan of this location after being in a handful of locations globally. The Pao de queijo served Was not fresh. All the dishes were extremely heavily seasoned, and left me very thirsty after the meal. The lamb chop was not bad and the capirinha was great. Went here for my birthday and I was excited! I had gone to only one Brazilian Steakhouse before in my life before this. We had a reservation so we were seated fast. We had someone come by to explain the menu. I was here for only one thing: The Full Churrasco experience. This functions the same way other steakhouses do it. People come by with different types and cuts of meat and you can get as much as you like. You even have free rein at the salad and light bite bar. I was in heaven with all the delicious types of meat that I was able to have! On top of the delicious food the inside was also nice. Very lovely decorations and table settings which enhanced the experience. We would be approached by waiters here and there to top off our water and check in on other things. I went to Fogo de Chão yesterday (June 26 ) for a quick lunch before going to work. I arrived at 11:00 a.m., but the restaurant was not yet ready to open, as the staff was still preparing the salad bar. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes before I was allowed inside. Since I didn't have much time before work, I went straight to the salad bar. Unfortunately, none of the dishes had labels or names, so I had to keep asking the staff what each item was. This was very inconvenient and not acceptable, for those with dietary restrictions or food allergies. I was also disappointed with the receptionist's attitude. She came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which made the experience less pleasant. I work at Bellevue Square across the street. This is not the first time I've dined at your restaurant, but it seems the quality of service has deteriorated. We always have the best time visiting Fogo De Chao in Bellevue. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that you're taken care of. Kids under 6 years old eat free and 7-12 are half price. Such an amazing deal for families and we all leave with happy, full bellies. The market table is our family's favorite stop of the whole meal. Our kids load up on charcuterie and fruits. I definitely have more than my fair share of their peppered bacon. It's a more upscale spot in downtown Bellevue and a great place for celebrations like anniversaries and birthdays. read more

The server and especially shout to out to the meat servers were amazing but the girl wearing glasses passing out drinks or shots on the tray walking around all the tables did not tell us that we were going to be charged for the drinks, she made it seem like they were giving customers sample tasters of their drinks for free.. she didn't even check our ID either. Only 2 people out of our group got the shots and our whole table was under the impression that it was free samples. She even said you can get lots more if you want!! If they are going to be passing out drinks like that then they need to tell people that they have to PAY FOR THE DRINKS BEFORE HANDING THEM OUT. read more
