Details: I set up an initial consultation appointment for the afternoon with this company to do some backyard deconstruction work. The day they were supposed to come, I got a call asking if they could come earlier, within 20 minutes of the call because, in his words, "that would be more convenient for them." I said, "Please wear a mask while on the property." The contractor responded with, "Okay." I tried to be flexible, moved my schedule around, and began waiting. No one showed up after 40 minutes. I called again, and this time the contractor said that he wasn't coming because his company didn't require employees to wear a mask, and they didn't want to take the contract as a result. He never called me to inform me of this change after he spoke to his company. I had to call him after waiting for 40 minutes for him to show up. He never apologized. Also, we're still in a pandemic. If someone asks you to take precautions while you're on their property, you be a decent person and do that. He would have just ghosted me after I moved things around upon his request. Conclusion: Clearly, this company is unprofessional- they don't respect a potential client's time or health. The company said, "I should look elsewhere." Yeah, duh- why would I give them my money?

How fair is it though that you are roped into a 5 star review for a discount, even if you feel the experience was not worth 5 stars. If he did that, it was on his own accord.
