Unlike the other services I had called Brent said that he would call back within 30 minutes with instructions, and that the final cost would be around $100 (final cost was $99). Over the next 2 hours Brent patiently walked me through his remote procedure, unfazed by the fact that he had to work around my PC configuration, and unperturbed when my labtop died because it ran out of charge. At the end all the files were recovered. And though some were unusable because they were overwritten the very fact that some they were recoverable greatly lifted my mood. Fortunately, all my data was recovered. After my laptop was returned, I found out that the motherboard on my laptop had failed and was likely the root cause of my issues.
