Like most people, I imagine, I was both hopeful and a little frantic when I started explaining my situation to Brent at File Savers. In my case it was my son's flash drive, containing key work files, that he had inadvertently reconfigured for a gaming device, thus making it unreadable on a PC. Unlike the other services I had called Brent said that he would call back within 30 minutes with instructions, and that the final cost would be around $100 (final cost was $99). Over the next 2 hours Brent patiently walked me through his remote procedure, unfazed by the fact that he had to work around my PC configuration, and unperturbed when my labtop died because it ran out of charge. At the end all the files were recovered. And though some were unusable because they were overwritten the very fact that some they were recoverable greatly lifted my mood. No miracles were promised, instead I received an efficient, cost effective solution delivered in a jovial and totally professional manner. Thank you Brent for what I hope will be our only encounter.
