I have…read morea Dell desktop and although it is relatively new, for several months I have been having problem with it just randomly shutting down. I'm out of the service contract with Dell and just felt they wouldn't be much help. I preferred someone who could look at and analyze my system. But I work from home and constantly on the computer, I really was hoping to get someone who could come out. I was able to speak to Lindsey over the phone and get an appointment for the next day. I blocked off several hours hoping to get an answer. Lindsey arrived on time and brought her own equipment. I explained my problem and right away she went to work going through some of the basics with the computer to ensure everything was working as it should be and no viruses. Once that was all finished, she did more diagnostics, letting me know everything she was doing as she was doing it. In the end, she made some adjustments that we both hoped would resolve my issue without having to replace any of the hardware. It has been only a few days since, but I would say for now my computer is running so much smoother and quieter and no issues with the computer shutting down. Again, it has only been a week, but even if I do experience the problem I was having again, at least Lindsey told me what the next step would be. This is one of those businesses you hope you never need, but if you are in need of any repairs to your computer, Lindsey is extremely knowledgeable, quick, explains everything and having someone come to you and do the work right there is well worth it.

But before looking at my laptop, Lindsey told me she was very sure it would be the screen issue. So I purchased a new screen and she replaced it. After replacing the screen, the flickering got worse. She said it was not the screen issue, the wire needed to be replaced. Then she replaced the wire and then the screen is not usable at all, it is flashing and hurting my eyes. Them she said the mother board needs to be replaced. At this moment I don't trust her anymore. If you can't fix a problem, at least do not make it worse. My laptop was not perfect but still usable before her repair. But after that I have to connect my laptop to a monitor in order to use it. Also it is very unlikely to get call back from them. I have to keep calling them.

She sketched out an example and CND took the drawing and created something to start with. We went back and forth many times on the design and I just didn't feel like it was right. I texted a friend who is a gifted designer and he quickly sent back a hand drawn modification of the design to consider and it was perfect. PERFECT! I forwarded the sketch to CND and they created the sign exactly as it was drawn. I expected this sign to be the centerpiece of our new lobby and once it was installed and turned on... IT IS! People love it and it and we couldn't be any happier. I'm overwhelmed by the level of craftsmanship. This is our second sign to have built by CND, certainly won't be the last either.

At least one place told me I wasn't a "high dollar thus as valued customer". I remember those places, always. I called Empire and within 5 days they had a wonderful gentleman come over and give me an estimate. Side note, all stereo places prefer you buy their equipment before they install it. Empire did all my installation needs within one month and didn't complain that I only bought cheap ceiling speakers. The whole job was on par for pricing and the amount of work was well done and quick. Finally, I have Control4 so they were able to automate my theatre experience. I have had one issue, my router went down and for some reason the receiver I bought in NC lost it's IP information. While I had to pay for the service call, Empire had someone out within 4 days and not only was it fixed within 10 minutes, the installer showed me how to fix it! In summary, if you want good AV (Audio / Video) equipment and installation for your home in a timely manner, reasonable prices, and by good people, give these guys a shout. You'll be very happy you did.
