There were 8 of us from out of state. We were quoted 40 minutes and it was about right. At first, our server was amazing. Attentive. Quick. And efficient. We had told the hostess that we were there to celebrate a birthday and she put the magnet on the light above our table. Not once did our server mention it, and she never celebrated her birthday. The weirdest part was when it was time to pay for the checks. There were five of us who paid with card and we went through the whole process on the table top kiosk to pay for our checks. The remaining three wanted to pay with cash. our server didn't seem too excited about that and took forever to get the change. The strangest part to all of it is that when she came back, she didn't give proper change to any of the girls. One girl was owed $.26 and the other was owed seven cents, and instead of just giving that to Them, she rounded down and just gave them the dollars. We weren't really sure what to think about it, and it seemed kind of weird, but toward the end of our visit, we just weren't thrilled with the service. She started to get slow, didn't refill our drinks, and seemed really put out by some of the things that we requested. read more

Husband had 12 oz sirloin cooked medium rare and it was cooked perfectly ..well seasoned..server was attentive and pleasant. I got the pork chops, sweet potato and salad. Pork chops were moist and tender. Rolls were good. We ate at 130 on Sunday and were seated upon arrival. We were grateful that music was not too loud. We have been going to Texas Roadhouse since they first opened. On the opening day I asked the GM If the ribs will always be this delicious and he promised me they would. Well, he was right because I love their ribs and my husband loves the primerib. I have never had such meaty, falling off the bones most tender meat. If I get a full slab, I have enough for another meal the next day! No one else in my area can beat their ribs. My husband feels the same way about the prime rib. Everytime we come here, we each get our favorite meal. The grilled mushrooms, potatoes, vegetables are top notch BUT their rolls and the cinnamon dip is OUT OF THIS WORLD. We always eat at a table in the bar and can enjoy our meal watching any sports game on their TV screens. Service is always good and attentive! read more

WAY overpriced! Wanted a steak. At least a half-dozen places along Milan Road offered steak. Service was ok, decor like all other Outback's. I selected a combo of 6-oz sirloin and half rack of ribs with an iced tea. Ribs and plate were swimming in bbq sauces; a layer under steak, under baked potato and under broccoli. And the sirloin was like leather! Visited Texas Road house for a 6-oz sirloin a couple days later and it was very tender, very tasty and cost half the price (off happy hour menu). read more

Just went today 6/26/25, did waitlist and got seated promptly. Gave us a few min to order. We had our 2 grandchildren and ordered mac&cheese plus our dinners which wasn't major. I've eaten at several Texas Roadhouse restaurants before and never had a complaint. This one hit different, though. This place should be called the Food Poisoning Warehouse. Went there with a large party. They seated us in two different booths on opposite sides of the restaurant. No big deal. One of the gimmicks of this place is they dance around when certain country western songs come on. I am now convinced that what they are really doing is an ancient Viking ritual that curses all patrons with explosive diarrhea. I'm talking get-a-seat-belt-for-your-toilet style diarrhea! I had a lousy cheeseburger. I would call it more of a leather-jerky burger. It was grilled to the consistency of leather and had enough salt on it to raise your blood pressure 200 points. My description of the burger does not adequately express how bad it truly was. My daughter had country fried chicken. She has had it on numerous occasions at different locations and really liked it. She did not like it from this location. I got to hear her throw it up in the bathtub while she was screaming in agony on the toilet. If you like diarrhea or trying to smash vomit chunks down the hotel bathtub drain with a plunger, you should run every red light to get to this place! read more

Texas Roadhouse is always a pleaser. If you get there early you can enjoy the 6pm sirloin and two sides for $10. Add a glass of Kindle Jackson Chard for a fine dining experience. Michael usually wears his white cowboy hat. His southern draw is from SC and not Texes as you might guess. This boy is now happy to call Sandusky home. His service does not disappoint. The fabulous rolls are served with cinnamon butter, but just ask for ordinary butter if cinnamon is not for you. Steaks always come to the table based on your requested fineness. read more

We went here to celebrate my sons graduation. I called ahead an hour early bc we had 11 people. I was transferred to another lady who deals with large groups. When we arrived, they sat us at 2 separate booths back to back not across from another. When asked, she said this was all they could do. We also had 2 separate servers and the female server never even brought out all the drink orders. I know there were other areas where we could have been seated. Took my kids here service is great but the kitchen doesn't know how to cook a medium rare steak. First go around came out Medium. I said it was fine but not cooked right and I didn't want to wait for a re-make. The manager said they will re-make it will be quick. Everyone was done eating, I ate half of the first medium steak waiting. So my waiter said he will throw it in a box to go, I should have said let's see what we got and cut or open there... We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and were seated promptly. Mike was our server and he was amazing. Drinks came quickly and our order was taken. Food came out hot and exactly as we ordered. Mike checked back twice, and two managers even came by to see how things were going. The restaurant was full, but that didn't slow the service. We even ordered an additional menu item for my son, and it came quickly. We hadn't sat down in a Texas Roadhouse in ages (we usually order carryout), but this was a great experience. Ok, dinner with a couple of friends who have never really eaten at an upscale steakhouse. But, I have had decent meals at a couple of TR steak restaurants while on the road, so, I didn't try to convince them to try a step up. Seated right away. Waitress was quick to check on us, brought water and a coke as asked. She did everything right. Good timing, good attitude, etc. Food, no. Period. I ordered the filet medallions, asked for them medium. Of the three, one was well (dry), one was medium well (just the slightest moistness), the other was medium. One of the other guys ordered the same, but wanted medium rare. His were similar to mine. The other friend ordered the sirloin, asked for it medium rare, to medium. Specifically asking for pink, but not bleeding juice every where. He also ordered mashed potatoes as one of the sides. His came out well done and a baked potato. We got the waitress to check it out. She apologized, verified she got his order right, then went back to get it right. She brought out a small bowl of mashed potatoes, but they were room temperature. Finally, the manager comes out and asks if, other than the steak being overdone and potatoes cold, was everything else ok. He offered to comp the potatoes.....really??!! When the sirloin finally arrived, it was medium RARE, dripping all over and red, not pink in the middle. He took half of it home and finished cooking it for breakfast. Add this, I ordered the carrots and broccoli for the side, both were not cooked anywhere near enough. Difficult to even poke them with a fork. So, needless to say (but I will anyway) when someone screws up the order and one person of three has to wait for his meal and gets it AFTER the other two are done, and the manager says "well, we usually get it right 99.8 % of the time. I guess this is that 2%". (Yeh, he said 2%) it's not good. Next visit to Sandusky, this place is NOT an option. read more

If you value your hearing stay away! Couldn't hold a conversation or barely hear the waiter. Requested 3 times with three different workers to lower the volume. Didn't happen! Decibal level remained in the very loud range with a steady level in the mid 80s to a high of 101. The manager said it was supposed to be louder and showed no concern with the readings I showed her, a 97 and the 101. The food was very good, couldn't understand the waiter due to noise and talking way to fast. Outside was littered with cig butts! We will not be returning because of the environment! read more

Very, very disappointed in the service and lack of accommodations for customers. I took my family there for my daughter's birthday because it used to be her favorite place to eat. We were there right at 11am when they opened and asked to be seated together as we were first on line. They sat us at two extended tables with anpther table in between that we were not allowed to use. When I requested to be able to sit with the rest of our group (at least to be able to talk to eat other) they said they could not do that. Although the whole restaurant was empty. So we had to call our kids on our phones as we were in booths and couldnt even see them. When I told them we werent happy with this as we had small kids, the waitress rudely stated that this was the way they do it and they would not be able to put us together. Disappointed. I've come here many, many times and had positive experiences. This time was very different. We weren't given rolls. Had to ask for them and then they came 17 minutes after we sat down. Food arrived 39 minutes after we ordered. When the check arrived, I presented a $30 gift card (the bill was $36.80) and told the waitress to put the remainder ($6.80) on my credit card. However, I was charged the full amount ($36.80). It took a long time to resolve the issue - even after showing the manager the full charge on my credit card and my gift card. Food was tasty, but all the other stuff left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

I'm really surprised to see this location rated so low here. We showed up around 5:30 and the place was already packed with a line out the door. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told the wait would only be 15 minutes--and it was 15 minutes on the nose. When we got seated we were immediately greeted by friendly and attentive staff who genuinely seemed to be having a good time at work. Our meal was terrific and the quality of food far exceeded expectations for a chain restaurant. I didn't expect to be impressed by a Texas Roadhouse but this particular location has its act together. Best service I've had at any kind of restaurant in a long time--timely and attentive service with a smile goes a very long way whether you're at a fine dining bistro, or a chain. Great stop for our family needing a quick dinner on vacation and an experience that will make me consider giving the TR we have back home another honest try. read more

I understand the struggle with the corona virus for businesses. This however doesn't apply to my review. The roadhouse text you to let you know that your food is ready when you order online. They also send you a text saying text here and we will bring your food to your car. So I ordered online sent the text and waited in my car nearly ten minutes. No one came so I go to the window to pick up my now semi warm food. Next it automatically charged me for a tip. I dont mind tipping someone who does a service but to automatically charge you for it and then you have to get out of your car and go to the window to receive your food. I know this is petty but I ordered online carryout for a reason. Going forward we will go elsewhere or drive the extra ten minutes to toledo. read more

My family and I were in Sandusky at Kalahari and wanted food out of the resort. We came here at 8:30pm with 4 adults, 2 kids, and a baby. Our waitress, Tara, was wonderful. She was very accommodating. She brought out a kiddie booster for my daughter and had it set up at the table for us to ensure it wouldn't move. She also made great recommendations for both food and drinks. I ordered Kenny's Cooler, a blue alcoholic beverage, which was very refreshing. We had two baskets of hot bread rolls that disappeared in a second. They are so good! However, I don't recommend eating more than one; you don't want to spoil your dinner! There were a couple birthday celebrations going on, where the wait staff gathers around the table and asks everyone in the restaurant to give the special guest a Texas-sized yee-haw. There's country music playing and TVs all around the bar. It's a chain restaurant, this one looks just like the others we've been to and offers the same atmosphere. It's loud and fun if you're up for it. For our appetizer, we started with a Cactus Blossom. This is a "Texas-sized onion, golden-fried and served with Cajun Horseradish sauce for dipping." It was crispy, fresh, and tasted great. I ordered a house salad and the beef tips country dinner with mashed potatoes. The house salad has eggs, croutons, tomatoes, and cheese on it. It was also fresh and good. The beef tips dinner has cuts of steak with sautéed mushrooms, onions, brown gravy, and sour cream over mashed potatoes. When my entrée came out, I was stuffed. I ate a couple bites and my meal was delicious. The portion was large and I didn't even make a dent in it before boxing it up. Overall, the service and our dinner were excellent. We decided to take our parents to TR as a thank you for dog sitting. We were a little worried it would be busy on a Sunday night with the Cedar Point crowd, and as we arrived we saw the lot packed. As we walked in we were a little worried, but the hostess told us 5-15 min. 5 min later our buzzer went off and we were seated. Love the peanuts you can open and throw shells onto the floor. Great for while you wait! As soon as we were seated our waitress, Laura, came to the table. She introduced herself and another server, Rogers who was working with her. She took our drinks and appetizer order. Drinks arrived quickly as did the appetizer. Tall draft beers were icy cold and delicious. The combo appetizer was perfect for a family of four. We were also given amazing bread and offered more when we had eaten it all. Dinner was awesome! Ribs are award winning, steak is tender and delicious, the seasoned rice is to die for! The best part of our meal was Laura and Rogers. They were so friendly and attentive. We appreciated such awesome service. For a chain restaurant, this group has it down! After a disappointing rainy day at cedar point we found Alexis B ( the original ) at Texas roadhouse. I know it's a chain but it's a good chain and Alexis was awesome. She saw our defeated wet bodies and took pity on us with baskets of delicious rolls and sugar butter, Shirley temples for the girls and wine for me. Steaks were great, sides were great. Fried pickles were great. Prices were wonderful and the icing on the cake was service was Amazing. Have us our every wish before we even asked for it.
