Wow! I "stopped by" on my way from Cleveland to Detroit. It had been many years since I had been to Cedar Point. The last time was with kids and at the Amusement Park. Today was alone, on a business trip and for food only. My server was named Abby and I asked her for recommendations. She suggested Blackened Grouper Oscar for the main dish and Scallops on a bed of Risotto for an appetizer. Both dishes were served piping hot, fresh and paired outstanding together - as well as expertly prepared. The bread (rolls) were accompanied with sweet cream butter and an olive oil, Parmesan infused butter. These were tasty spreads alongside the nice, warm bread. For dessert, I asked for the in house prepared items as a choice. I settled on Crème Brulee. I highly recommend a visit. The restaurant has friendly hours, hospitality in spades and excellent food choices, per my experience. It is a comfortable, up scale and pleasant dining destination. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful evening. The service was second to none, the ambiance was intimate and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious.

Beautiful view, good was wonderful. Grouper Oscar was a table favorite and the shrimp and calamari Apps were delish.

Our waitress was the best. She really made our experience here with the kids a great one! The food was great and I was worried since the reviews weren't great on here. The only thing is don't get the steak. They don't cook it to the right temperature and it's on the bland side. But everything else we got was great. The mac n cheese the burgers even the salad was awesome! The drinks are good and the location is right inside castaway bay where we stayed after a day at cedar point! It's very convenient and not bad for what it is! There is plenty of space inside. I appreciated our booth seating to be able to have private conversations. So again if you're staying at castaway bay and want a spot to eat I recommend going here. It is easily accessible and the food choices are broad!

Food was alright, but double the price of anywhere else where you could get the same food. (We compared what we got to another weekend when we went to bonefish grill and the meal was half the price, even with ordering more drinks). The server rarely came to our table- I ended up having to go find her in order to get napkins, pepper and bread. We were seated outside next to a table with a family who brought their standard poodle with them, (not on a leash) which kept coming over to our table to sniff our food. Yes, it's cedar point prices, but you'd think if you're paying a $300+ tab, you could get a server that checks on you every once in a while and doesn't serve a cold lobster bisque. Ambience is fun, especially with the roller coasters going by- I think that's really what you're paying for here.

I'm got here a little early at 4:15. Staff seems a bit distracted and don't want to be there or maybe it's my fault for being in sweats after a long day of work. I diid meet a fellow friendly couple there so it was completely stressful at 4:15. I think the place brings amazing anniversaries in. Once I got the bartender talking she was enjoyable and fun. She recommend the lobster bisque. It was very good. Hot and full of meat. Next I ordered the short ribs with scallops to come with the meal. Short ribs were a bit dry so thankful for the glaze that came with it. Very tender though! Vegetables were good but no seasoning on it. Despite my little comments I ate everything in a heartbeat. The scallops were the star of the show. Very well done and perfect with the lime juice and crisp sear .

Eh, it's alright. For the price you pay you'd expect the food to be great. View was gorgeous. The food tastes like you're in an amusement park but like they're trying to hide the fact that you are. My partner ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it was very well done, like grey colored well done. He sent it back and they did send out the correct temperature steak after waiting another 20 minutes. Bread was not yummy. Stuffed mushrooms were delicious. I won't be returning but I would if I had to.

It's fine for resort town seafood, but way over priced. I wouldn't come back but it was ok.

(See separate review for CLAG Brewing.) On arrival, it was mostly empty as it had just opened, but were told it would fill up. That was hard to believe as the place is huge, with multiple bar areas, tables of different sizes, and lots of standing. However, by the time we left it was filled! We sat at the main bar so we could talk to the owner. Our day had started with other breweries, so we were hungry and I'm glad we saved our tummies to dine here. I live in a city with tons of amazing Vietnamese restaurants, but this place blew them all away with maybe the most flavorful pho I've ever had. A huge bowl, not overly salty, with fresh produce and great flavor. Some of their beers are brewed perfectly to go with these zesty citrus flavors, so you really can't go wrong eating and drinking together. As I knew this was my only visit this trip, I also ordered a plate of fried rice which was also fantastic and I loved trying their sauces with it. Prices are so reasonable for the quality here. If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, great beer, and cool vibes, this is a must visit spot!

Upon first glance the outside doesn't really give you that vibe, but don't be fooled. The moment you walk through the doors, the crisp, modern atmosphere immediately sets the tone for an exceptional evening. We were seated promptly and welcomed by our server Joleen, who provided attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. Our group ordered wine and some appetizers. We chose the Cesar salad, french onion soup, tuna tower, scallops, and shrimp cocktail. The presentation alone was enough to impress. Everything was absolutely divine. The scallops were some of the best I've ever eaten. Seasoned and cooked to perfection, the smoked bacon jam was an ideal pairing. As impressed as we were with the appetizers, the entrees somehow managed to top them. Our table ordered the filet mignon, steak frites, and the smash burger. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and while I don't typically order steak with a sauce the blackberry demi glaze added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the meat. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals stating that the smash burger was the best burger they had ever had. We finished dinner with a coffee and a crème brûlée. If you are looking for a phenomenal dining experience in Port Clinton, this is it. They really checked all the boxes.

I was told you just cant come in and lounge. You have to order something off the menu in order for your stay to be legit. We came in planning on getting something to eat so that was not a problem. Their menu is simple. There's only 3 entrees that come with a pickle spear and your choice of potato chips or a fruit cup. These 3 choices are a Hot Dog, Ham and Turkey Sub, or a Pulled Pork Sandwich. Snacks are Macho Nachos, Spinach Dip, Popcorn, or peanuts. You also have your choice of beverages and alcoholic beverages. My son wanted the sub sandwich ($8.99) but they were all out so he ended up getting the hot dog ($8.99). My other son got the pulled pork sandwich ($8.99). Me and the wifey decided to share a macho nachos ($10.99). The hot dog was just your average plain hot dog and it doesnt come with anything on it. They give you ketchup and relish packets to put on yourself. At least it was an all beef dog. The pulled pork sandwich was mixed with barbeque sauce that in my opinion had way too much vinegar as the base which made it unedible for my son. I ended up eating it for him. The macho nachos are probably the only thing good on the whole menu. It was basically almost like a taco salad. It comes with separately with sour cream and salsa. You have nachos topped with beef, cheese sauce, olives, jalapenos, tomatoes, and onions. I recommend just getting the macho nachos which is enough for 2. I would get 2 orders of it if you were a party of 4. For the price point, the nachos are the only ones that are worth the price. Service was just so so. Maybe because there was only one server the whole time we were there. That doesnt make any sense if the place is packed and it was. As a bonus there is a group that is scheduled to perform 5 times through out the day. Forgot the name but they sing a mix of rock and country songs. The group is made up of 3 girls and 5 guys. They all can sing and play instruments. Now when they perform im not sure if its necessary to order anything just for you to watch them. Yelp 2017 Review #19 652 overall
