So ... a couple things. My friend and I came here after officiating a game at Chesapeake High. We arrived around 2PM or so. I ordered the Hamburger Steak Dinner. It comes with Cheese, onions, mushrooms, and gravy. I get it plain done mid-well and plain but ask them to put mushrooms on the side. You get 2 sides and free rolls that come with cinnamon butter. I usually stay away from the bread as I don't like the rolls as they seem very fluffy and not cooked enough for me. The cinnamon butter makes them taste like a dessert to me. I ordered a house salad with ranch and broccoli to keep the carb count low. When it arrived it was about the size of a hamburger patty rather than the oval hamburger steak that I get at the Westminster store. My guess is the weight was probably 4 or so ounces. On top of that it was cooked soooo well done by that I was dry and crusty. I called over the manager and complained about the size and cook to the manager. She asked if they smashed them down in Westminster and I advised that it was thicker and longer :.. maybe 10-12 ounces. She advised that she would make a new one. I kept the mushrooms and broccoli that was on the table. As my friend ate what he ordered I nibbled on the mushrooms... I have to say that they were so salty that it was unpleasant. The second burger arrived and was exactly the same size as the first one. I looked and there was a small amount of pink. The problem however is that it was again crusty I assume because it was cooked on too high a flame, also it was very salty and kinda tasted like they put steak sauce on it in the kitchen.... Weird. The second order of mushrooms was just as salty as the first. Honestly, I was hot tired ... so I passed on sending it or complaining to the manager again. I ate ... paid the check and left. The portion size was too small for a dinner entree ... if I wanted a hamburger I'd have ordered one. Overly salty food is not healthy and not appetizing. I don't understand the inconsistency with portion and the ability only to cook fast and burnt. I won't be back to this location. read more

Yes, Texas Roadhouse! Soft rolls and butter, oh my hips keep the baskets comin!! A visit with friends at this location and we were seated with Ashleigh by the bar. Have you ever seen what handling the entire house drinks, bar, and surrounding tables look like?! Mad skills and balance, all done smiling with patience, yes Ashleigh single-handedly did that. Our food came on time, hot, and as ordered. Our waters and beverages kept full. And yes, baskets of rolls inhaled. Noteworthy to mention, she checked on us 6 times in the hour and half time we dined on a busy Saturday afternoon. Wow, rock on Ashleigh! What can I say about Texas Roadhouse? For me it is always fantastic choice for great steaks. The food is delicious and filling, and never disappoints. I love their warm dinner rolls and honey cinnamon butter, and often have to resist eating them in the beginning so I can have room for my actual meal. I have been to this location several times, it has lively atmosphere and the staff is always nice, attentive and polite. I never leave here disappointed or unsatisfied. We went with a group of 6, immediately it was hot inside and we were just thinking since we came from outside it would take us a second to adjust. Nope... it was hot inside there the entire time, there was no AC in the section we were in and all 6 of us were sweating and hot. I'm 6 months pregnant, so this was not a good thing for me at all. Our drinks were immediately sweating from how hot is was in there. People around us were leaving! It was absolutely not ok. We got our rolls, they were crunchy and over cooked. You expect them to be soft and doughy. Nope, these were crispy and crunchy. Not expecting that at all and we were disappointed in the expectation of wanting soft rolls. The appetizers weren't bad. We got the tater skins and the cactus bloom. The sauce for the bloom was overpowering with horseradish. The salad bowls were warm so our salads were warm when eating them. The entrees were good. The ribs were perfect as well as the steak. We never once got an apology about the heat, and it was too hot for us to even finish our food. We tried to eat and leave as soon as possible. I've always heard about the rolls and butter and given the opportunity to eat here I said why not. The place is pretty no frills, loud, country music blaring. I got the sense that I was in a barn without the smell. They capture the aura of the south and its named appropriately. We were seated right away. Service was okay. The waitress was friendly enough but the food did take awhile to come out. Appetizers didn't interest us. We both ordered the 20 oz bone in ribeye. I got mines prepared medium with baked potatoes, broccoli and add on shrimp skewer. He got his prepared medium well, with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and rice. The rolls and cinnamon butter are overrated. Don't get me wrong. The rolls were warm, soft and the butter whipped and flavorful. But I make my own compound butter so it's not something I would have to come here for. I actually preferred the bread more savory. The grilled garlic butter shrimp I added on was served laying on a roll. This roll had salt sprinkled on the outside and was toasted coupled with the garlic butter juice soaked in. Delicioso. I would definitely preferred that served as the dinner rolls. The sweetness of the cinnamon butter also makes me want to skip dessert, which we did. My steak was prepared at the correct requested temperature. Beautiful grill marks, a nice char, tender and well seasoned. My only complaint was it was a little too fatty. The baked potato was the best one I've ever had. The inside was like chunky whipped mashed potatoes, tartness from the sour cream, buttery, seasoned the only thing that would've made it better was chopped chives. The fresh oniony flavor and texture would've been the chefs kiss. I asked if they had any the server said no. The shrimp was tasty and cooked perfectly. I couldn't finish all my food and ended up taking half home. It ate very well the next day. My dates rice looked too moist but he said everything was good. The top shelf margarita was okay. I asked for a tajin rim and they just sprinkled some on top. The sour mix wasn't house-made and had a weird aftertaste. I would dine again if I'm in the mood for a tasty steak without the hassle. First of all, the only two consistent things at TRH is the rolls with honey/cinnamon butter and the overly friendly staff. Tonight we went to the Pasadena location to use our Christmas gift card. My wife had the 12 oz. Sirloin with a loaded sweet potato and house salad...and I had the 3 piece catfish with corn and applesauce. Her steak was cooked perfectly. I really wanted coleslaw with my catfish, but was told that they didn't have it at that location, even though it was advertised. I do know that I've had it there before. The catfish was three small pieces...pretty curled up, and overcooked. The corn tasted like it came out of a can, and the applesauce was jar sauce. Pretty disappointing to eat cafeteria food at what used to be a decent restaurant. Should have gotten the ribs. read more

We love this Texas Roadhouse! The meals are a great price and the rolls are out of this world. Device was stellar for a party of 6 and there was barely any wait time on our food. The food was fresh as we order ribeye, roadkill, chili, salad, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and ribs. The food was hot and the taste was great. Went in the other night for dinner with my husband. It was one of the last nights of the year to enjoy a meal out before we started our healthy thing Jan 1. The server we had was also the bartender. He was awesome, attentive and friendly. Although he was tending to bar and table guests, we never felt neglected. My husband had a couple beers and we started with the cactus blossom. Nothing fancy. Don't yell at me but I like the one from Outback better =) I had the "roadkill" or the chopped steak. I really enjoyed it but couldn't help but notice how salty it was! Like realllly salty. They over did the salt with the seasoning. My husband had the sirloin and he said the same thing. The salad and the sides were good. He had fries and I had the fresh veggies. No complaints there. Unfortunately, we did not save room for dessert this time. I never had a bad experience at this location so I will continue to visit. I just hope they tune down the seasoning a tad bit. read more

This Texas Roadhouse location is a bit out of the way heading out towards the rural areas around the Chesapeake Bay. But that sure doesn't hurt its popularity. The locals absolutely love it here and dinner hours are often quite crowded. They feature standard steakhouse and southern comfort fare. The highlight though is the complimentary fresh-baked rolls served straight from the oven to your table. Quite the guilty pleasure, it is not uncommon to fill up on those and take a good portion of your actual meal home for later. Food portions are decent, and the dishes are well-prepared. Service is friendly. The facility is clean with a cozy atmosphere. If you're in this neck of the woods it is a great place to grab a bite during a nice trip to the bay. Do note they are only open late afternoon to evening, so plan accordingly! read more

Lately it has been a crap shoot when vising the Pasadena restaurant on the weekends. Seems they are having problems getting their good cooks in on Sundays. If the real cook doesn't show and you have the manager or employee's cooking you do not get a good meal. Steaks are usually burnt or not cooked to order. Keeps up I will avoid the roadhouse which I think when things go right are the best steaks and salads and baked potatoes. read more

Sure which the management would address their parking lot traffic flow. They used to have t 2 one way signs indicating to enter on the Exxon side of the building with signs indicating the exit was on the opposite side of the building. The one way sign closest to the building g (on the Exxon side) was knocked over a couple winters ago and HAS NOT been replaced. Some folks try to come out that lot not realizing the intended traffic flow pattern. REALLY wish the would install the missing one way sign and paint the pavement with arrows so everyone is on the same sheet of music flowing in one side and out the opposite side of the building g. read more

I want to thank the wonderful staff at this TRH for their wonderful treatment tonight. I called ahead to give our large party size of 13 to go on the waitlist. The young man who took the call told me "okay, we'll see you then" when I told him what time we would show up. When we got there, the hostesses had no record of our party. They indicated this happened earlier that evening. The call was picked up by carry-out andcwas not transferred. They thought they wait would a while yet. I explained we had 2 young children (2.5 yrs and 1 yr). I also explained that we were celebrating my husband's birthday, it was yesterday, but sadly we lost his younger sister to cancer on his birthday. So, we were getting together with his two other sisters to celebrate his birthday. I was hoping to not have to find another restaurant at 7pm, especially since TRH is his favorite place to eat. These wonderful young women, Josselyn, Nicole, and Alexis (sorry if i spelled those wrong) were so kind and worked us in and we only waited an extra twenty minutes from our expected arrival time (our half of the group were about 20 minutes early). Our waitress, Cindy, provided excellent service for our large group and was very attentive. Thank you, Texas Roadhouse, for hiring these young people who were beyond kind and helped us try to celebrate the birthday of my husband during a very hard time for our family. They made what has been a hard time for us have a bright spot and they very easily could have made it more difficult. Thank you Josselyn, Nicole, Alexis and Cindy! Disappointing. Had the country fried steak. Came out with a skin on the gravy. As I was peeling it off, the manager came over to ask about our experience. I showed her the skin on the lukewarm gravy and she proceeded to justify it. Explaining that sitting under the heat lamp was part of the dish's process to arriving at my table. Owning a restaurant myself, I was shocked at that excuse. Additionally, I ordered off of the early dinner menu togo. When my togo food was dropped off with the check the server informed me that the discount did not apply for togo. If I knew that I would have ordered something else. Very disappointed. In a word, disappointing. We started off things with a "cactus blossom", the Texas roadhouse version or a blooming onion. It was more crisp than expected, which caused it to be too dry. Not worth the $8 they charge. The sauce was also lacking. My salad dressing was sadly bland. It doesn't help that they don't offer fresh cracked pepper which seems to be a lost art these days. They might need to add more spices to their dressings to make things tastier. The steak was on point, as you'd expect at a steakhouse. But they were guilty of committing my biggest pet peeve. Upcharging for things and not warning customers that things cost extra. Maybe I missed it in the menu, but an extra $6 was added to my bill first things that cost them under a quarter. Had I been aware there were extra charges, I would have passed on them. The rolls and butter were the best part. I miss the peanuts, but not a big deal. Nothing about my meal was all that memorable. The steak was the highlight, but the extra charges took away from the experience. Odds are this is the last time we will visit here. I'd rather head to the picantillo down the street where I feel like they offer a better meal for a lower price and I never walk away surprised or nickeled and dimed. read more

Secondly, we were transitioned into being seated into a booth that had a leak in the ceiling. Nobody wants to be dripped on while dining the entire time. I normally do not write reviews, but was very dissatisfied with this visit. Ordered a medium filet and it was well done, never had such a tough filet. My husband never got his salad which was one of the sides, they forgot my husbands beer until I ordered a drink myself. As soon as we sat down she wanted to know what we wanted, with no time to look at the menu. Took her 3rd trip to bring straws. I pulled into the parking lot and started smelling the beautiful smells of cooked meat and fresh made rolls. After a two minute wait to be seated, I arrived at the table and my waiter was there within a minute taking my drink order. After reviewing the menu and figuring out exactly what I wanted the waiter must have sensed that I was ready to order and showed up with my drink. Having eaten at a Texas Roadhouse in the past I order an 8 ounce sirloin with grilled shrimp, a loaded backed potato, and a salad with ranch dressing. The salad was chilled and the vegetables were flavorful and crisp. The ranch dressing was just the perfect consistency, not too watery and not too thick. The boiled egg and cheese was a bonus. My meal then showed up and it looked marvelous. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and they delivered. The perfect amount of spices were on the steak and the tempature was almost perfect. The backed potato was warm but a little hard for my liking (I ate it anyway). The combination of the butter, sour cream, and cheese gave this spud an awesome flavor. The toasted roll on the plate was a nice touch! The food was 8.75 out of 10 stars which is awesome on my scale, the service was 9 out of 10. The staff could smile a bit more. My review was based on me getting to the restaurant at 12 when they opened, I can see how the quality could be lower during a rush, but I doubt it. read more

They asked if we had been here before and we said no it was our first time. Our waitress (Cailie I think?) was super nice and helpful. Then Mary (I think she was the manager?) came and greeted us since it was our first time and brought us out a whole sampler tray of sides! Talk about a warm welcome! We always had full waters and she came back frequently to check in on us. There's something for everyone here, whether you want steak, chicken, ribs, a burger, or fish. I got the 12oz traditional NY strip and it was medium rare as I requested. It was too much food for me so I took 1/3 of it home but I finished the sweet potato and house salad sides! The food was good, just nothing to write home about. The rolls are quite good though! They're so sweet and buttery and the butter is so sweet and light. Delicious! Lastly, I love the vibe in here. We had a cozy 2 person booth but there are bigger booths and a bar area with lots of sports. Each table has a lamp above it and our table was clean. The music is modern country and I love it! There's also plenty of seating and parking. Overall, great experience, particularly because of the service. I would 100% come back because of the service here, but good steak too! read more

Came in on a stormy Wednesday night right as it started raining. Only waited 5 min for a table and had a server who clearly was way too overwhelmed with his section. I'm sure he picked our table up cuz I can't imagine someone being that bad at their job when we were the only table he was taking care of in the back of the restaurant. No joke, asked 3 different times for water and were told 2x it was coming and just never got it. Server most definitely forgot to put our order in (2 salads) and we asked him about it since we had a time crunch. MOD didn't table touch us or anyone in our area of the restaurant the entire time we were there cuz I would have waved her down to ask for water or the whereabouts of our food. After food hit we asked for check and gave a gift card. Server just didn't know how to run the gc, and ended up partially charging us on the bill and stated we owed more. We were surprised we had to pay for everything on the bill since we waited 45 min (quite literally) for a blk chicken for a salad and the other one didn't even have cooked things on it (and it was missing onions and the bacon we asked for on it). I told server we still had a balance on the card, which he didn't return with the first time and prob threw in the trash then scurried back to the kitchen to dig through the trash and find it. Totally shocked at the level of service, luckily another server was sat in the dining room sweeping her section and she told me the name of the MOD who was November. I'm honestly glad she didn't table touch cuz we weren't in a good mood to talk to her about it, just sat and waited 2 weeks before posting this review and realized how actually bad our experience was. So, I'm going to get right into it today was my first time at Texas Roadhouse mom's wanted to go have barbecue ribeye I had small appetite for just a salad and ice tea. When arrived park lot clean and space available A+ but when going inside to be seated bread & butter was offered while being seated Conner was our waiter who didn't give us time to look over the menu that was hidden behind the A-1 sauce. The atmosphere was dark, dull first time there what else can I say,Conner was average " as I'm just here to wait on you ladies". Couldn't finish all my salad so yes" mom and I took home doggie bags the pricing was definitely reasonable for what we order.
