I had the Mac and cheese balls, bread with honey butter, knockout shrimp, funnel cake fries, and glory glazed salmon. The Mac and cheese balls were good and boys liked it! The knockout shrimp was tasty but eat it the same day. The next day it doesn't heat up well. The funnel cake fries were ok. A little stale. Bread with honey butter was delicious! Served the wrong unsweetened tea, no sugar bowl and forgot the dressing on the side. Seems like our server, as nice as she is, was else where. The food is okay except the Cobb salad chicken had pieces of bone on them. Definitely need to take care when preparing chicken. So that was disappointing. Glory Days Grill has a great American variety with a new special Monday through Friday. My family and I went on Thursday which was half off on their large plate of nachos. The nachos were delicious and the whole family really enjoyed them. The best part is the kids menu is very inexpensive and they give them a lot of food. My husband always orders the Triple Play because he likes a variety of items. I always get the glory wings which are absolutely delicious with blue cheese or ranch dressing. They have the best wings!!!!. This Sever kept checking on our table and tried to get our food to us as fast as she could. This is a great spot to watch any game or fight. We were seated at 6:49pm and we decided to leave by 7pm since no one came to our table to greet us, ask about drinks, or appetizers. There were not a lot of people there at all. Honestly this review isn't really worth making, but I'm doing it for one reason and one reason only. The service. I went with my parents and their friends after celebrating, so we just wanted to sit down somewhere nearby. It was my first time going here so I was a little excited. My waitress was phenomenal. I believe her name was Lisa. She was very attentive and did her job very well, but boy did the food take forever to come out and it wasn't even busy. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. A major disappointment. The food was old. It really surprised me because as I mentioned before, it wasn't busy. I'm pretty sure my sandwich was simply reheated because it was so tough in the middle. The fries weren't even warm. I expressed my concern to Lisa and she handled it with swiftness, and the manger comped the meal. If the food was simply FRESH, I wouldn't have complaints. I ended up getting the short rib sandwich with a Caesar salad to go, but even then I had to tweak it. Overall? Underwhelming. I mean, the atmosphere was alright, it looked like a TGIF, so just an average family-friendly restaurant. Was pleasantly surprised with the food here after stopping in pretty late on a week day. We just wanted some cocktails and fried food after long days at work. We scarfed down some of the loaded fries and the spicy shrimp app along with the motz sticks. Service was OK but the Monday Burger Special was a big disappointment. I suspect good burger meat has been substituted with factory pressed mush and they call it "hamburgers". Used to be one of best burgers around, now just a patty of mush. Very disappointed. After spending over $50 for burger, nachos and salad; well, we won't go back. Parking: Larger lot that was decently full when we got there but found spaces near the carryout door. Service: Super friendly and helpful. Super nice and checked on what a item was made with. Sides offered included a Dole fruit cup but it was NOT made with 100% juice and did had added sugar so we opted for fresh veggies. My husband and I stopped in the other day for a couple drinks and an appetizer. We ordered boneless wings which were good. We both had draft beers which were cold. The bartenders provided great service. I ordered a soup from the Oktoberfest seasonal menu which was a cheddar ale soup. I don't know why but it was taking forever to come out. So long that the bartenders went back to the kitchen a couple times to check and it still wasn't ready. Even the bartenders were confused. Eventually, we were ready to leave so I asked them to cancel the soup and give me the check. The bartender was apologetic, removed the soup and cashed me out. They ended up getting the soup to go and giving it to me complimentary. I ended up trying it as soon as I got home, about 15 minutes after receiving it. The soup was not good. It was super thick and almost seemed like a bowl of the cheese you often see on nachos. It came with a pretzel breadstick which was soft and delicious. I was unable to even eat the soup. UPDATE: I went to Glory Days last night after management reached out to me, asking if I would give them another chance, and I gladly accepted. What I will say is, I appreciate management contacting me, it shows that they care about their customers, and their businesses reputation. Kudos to Glory Days for that. On to my experience, the meal was good. I got the chicken Brest entree covered with lump crab meat, and I substituted the seasonable vegetables w/ the red skin mash potatoes. My GF had the plank steak, w/ onion straws and seasonal veggies. The steak was perfectly prepared - medium rare - and flavorful, however the onion straws were cold. She didn't want them anyway, so she was ok with that. My meal was fantastic. I have nothing negative to say about it. I will say that my server was a little inattentive to our table, and at one point threw the straw down on the table, which was kind of rude, but overall, he was a nice guy. I did notice him having full on conversations w/ the other patrons, so I guess it could've been our demeanor, maybe we seemed unapproachable? I don't know. An absolute disappointment. New to the area, we decided to grab some dinner and it was probably the worst decision we've ever made. They have a side entrance for carry-out orders, which was nice, but there is no one at the pick-up counter. Several servers saw me and walked by without saying anything. I finally got the attention of someone cleaning and asked them to help me find the person. Food: why was everything so salty? I'm not sure. Why did everything seem like it was just reheated? It probably was. The cheese steak was so salty it was inedible. The side crab mac & cheese was TINY (3 bites?) and also inedible because it was so salty. It's a pity because the crab meat seemed like good chunks. The fries were darker brown (over done or reheated?). Some of my wings were okay, the others were just hard like they were dried out from being reheated. I couldn't eat half of my wings because they were so hard. She also brought out lemon with the water as I asked. And she checked in to see if I was enjoying the food. She was the best server in bar area I have ever had over the past 5 years I've been going off and on. If all the servers were as friendly and attentive as Mackenzie, I'd eat there more often. The following has nothing to do with Josh. While the crab dip, drinks, glory days burger (one with the egg), cole slaw, and red potatoes were all very good, the chicken cheese steak was disappointing. The chicken was pounded flat, leaving it dry and the seasoning was extreme. I found the seasoning completely overshadowed the chicken with a very unpleasant taste. The girls ordered a large macaroni and cheese and my son ordered the cheesesteak that was good. The only thing they had available was plastic ware to eat with but had to ask several times. When the macaroni and cheese came out, we were surprised because we said "you gave them the kid size." Well we decided to come back to Glory Days to try the Tacos on Taco Tuesday. We wanted to sit in the bar area. We'll the hosted if we minded sitting in the dinning room area. We saw a table in the Bar area that just needed cleaning. Well the hostess must have not wanted to clean it because she got an ATTITUDE. It got cleaned and we did sit in the bar area. For the Tacos. We had the grilled shrimp Tacos and the fish Tacos. The Tacos were very good. They have a little kick that was nice. I also had the half grilled chicken salad with Ho ey mustard dressing. The chicken was very dry! Also I had the 24/7 Margarito. You will need an extra shot of Tequila, and it is $5 more. Once I tried to get the bartenders attention, she was talking to a manager I think. The only reason it is 3 stars is because our waiter was great. Came here to watch season opener football games. Got here early, picked our seat at the bar tables based on the games we wanted to be able to see. Cool. Ordered some drinks and apps. Cool. Asked about a sound box, were referred to an app to listen. Fine but are you giving me a charger since it's going to drain my battery? Whatever. Games start, wait, we are in Raven territory, you literally have the Ravens written on your wall, you aren't going to turn the sound on for the Ravens game????? Ask for a box again, told they are all out, the rest in the back are broken. Okaaaay. They have the TVs marked with which games are going to be on that TV, that's how we picked our seat...except if they don't have the channel right, that messes that up. So we asked to have it switched. Our poor waiter kept asking the manager to change it but she was busy in the kitchen and was going to when she got out of the kitchen.....she never came out of the kitchen. Well, I can't see my game, can't hear the Ravens game. At this point, it is too late to try to go somewhere else because everything will be packed. My fiance and I go to the Towson Glory Days Grill roughly once a week and have done so for 4-5 years. My guy LOVES their grilled boneless wings and their selection of sauces offers a good variety, although he is a big fan of the garlic buffalo. He is a meat and potatoes kinda guy but loves their broccoli so much, that he usually gets it as a side, no matter what he chooses for his entree. I think it is just consistently perfect, tender enough where you can cut it with a fork and yet still not mushy. And they know how to season it just right to make it extra tasty. I am a vegetarian and I can't say enough good things about them. They are more than willing to offer the meat on the side (my puppy loves this) or to make simple substitutions. I recently had a server (Mikey) who went above and beyond to suggest that I get sauteed onions and peppers on my tacos to make them more filling and tasty. I am just tickled pink that he made the suggestion and I order it often (especially on Taco Tuesday's). The flavored iced teas and lemonades are tasty and refreshing alternatives to the standard soda offerings. The fresh cobbler and lava cake are my favorites and just a few of the desserts that I would highly recommend. The staff is personable, efficient, and more than ambiable. With things like opening the inner doors for you and remembering your favorite drinks and food choices, I find the atmosphere very friendly and inviting for all manner of customers. Many screens show a lot of sports and news offerings with some dedicated to cartoons for the kids. The typical crowd tends to include a great variety of couples, families, and individuals with differing ages, sexes, and ethnicities which I find to be very telling about a business. This is the kind of business I want to continue in my area. They offer indoor and outdoor dining as well as carryout while still working to uphold CDC guidelines (with distancing, plastic shields, and cleaning) so I feel safe eating there during the pandemic.
