Dishonest!! We used a 25$ gift card to pay our meal (around 22 dollars) and we also put cash as tips on the table, so there should be 3 dollars remaining in our gift card. But they took this 3 dollars as tips!!! so next time when we came back we realized that there were no money remaining in this gift card. they take away the money in our gift card without any signature!! so horrible!! if this gift card valued $50 and the tips will be 28$. it's a fraud. By the way, 7.99 $ meal is not existed if you forget to mention that you need 7.99 $ meal even you come in early before 6 pm. Love love love this place. Anytime I hear country music it reminds of how long its been since I've been to Texas Roadhouse and that I need to go back soon! I think the rolls are enough of a reason to go here. I eat them even without the cinnamon butter even though that's pretty good too. The cactus blossom is always a nice treat as well and comes with delicious spicy dipping sauce that has a hint of horseradish. I've been here dozens of times and I've never had bad food or bad service, and I think it speaks volumes that I've seen some of the same staff here since I first started going here several years ago. If you've never been here before, just know it can get pretty loud in there, but I've always been able to carry on a conversation without a problem. read more

Texas Roadhouse, well you should know what to expect. A chain like restaurant, but i always have a good experience here. Drinks are strong and servers are attentive. This place is LOUD so be prepared. Good for kids because who will hear your kids whining when everyone is yelling anyways, right? The plates are large and my food has always came fast and hit. First visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. The food is really good, starting with the fresh rolls and cinnamon butter - deadly delicious. I had the country fried chicken with rice and veggies. The chicken was tender, and the gravy was smooth and savory. The vegetables tasted very fresh. Even the rice was excellent. All the food was a lot better than I expected for a chain. We haven't been to Texas Road House in the longest time. Lasts nights' encounter was the reason why this restaurant doesn't come to mind, when we are craving steak. Given it was a Saturday night 8 o'clock, so sure there would be a good wait for a table. But, the process of the wait after the pager buzzes is border line antagonizing! We already waited an hour, why page the buzzer giving customers false hope just to say "oh we are still waiting for a table." That doesn't go well with hungry customers and already an hour wait. We got to our table and this is no fault of the server but, we were directly underneath an air vent blowing out cold air. With the wait and it already getting late, we will pretty much take what we could get at that point. The server had a nice personality a little aloof. We were seated with no utensils, no napkins. We gave him until after we put in our orders to see if he would give them to us but nope. So I asked for napkins and waited and waited to no avail. My sister ended up asking a server from the table behind us for them, which we got right away so thanks for that. The food came out pretty quick but must say wasn't up to par with what we thought a steak should taste like. The sauté mushroom was too salty. The steak itself was too chard, maybe it was the cut and heat I got. But, usually the case is when someone is so hungry EVERYTHING is good. But, we ended up leaving with the feeling like we didn't eat at all. The only thing that was good about this dinner was the rolls and butter. My fiancé order the blooming onion, he's a big fan but that didn't even live up to its picture. So, all in all, no I would not come back here anytime soon. read more

Hello to those reading this. I am sad to give a saddened experience. From observation to being treated not so well. We got seated quickly which is good. Then realized the hostess proceeded to seat us by the bathroom. Why there, when there were plenty of other tables "away" fro the toilet. Why do I want to smell that? And be mixed in with my food aroma? So we politely asked to be reseated by he bar area. Upon being seated my wife asked for fresh hot bread. Unfortunately the hostess nodded her head and then gave us cold bread that's been sitting at our original table. Ok I'll let it slip. About 10 minutes later, our waitress Courtney showed up. At first everything seemed ok. Greeted with smiles. Had to ask for hot bread which she brought. Now when it came to ordering our food, my other half is very particular on how her food is served. Which some people have. All we asked is the food to be nice and hot. Which was assured. When the food came out unfortunately it was not as hot as we hoped for. Before this, we tried finding our server, and was nowhere to be found for the 15 minutes we were looking. So the hot portion of the food was brought back, and about 5 minutes later the manager came out with what looked like the same chicken we gave back. Even though we were told "fresh" chicken was on the way. Now during this time of waiting for our original meal to come out, there were a few mishaps. A waiter who was day dreaming it seemed, found a way to run directly in contact with another waitress, causing a messy spill of sauce on the ground which looked slippery watching helplessly as customers walked over it. Yeah I heard him use the four letter word that has "s and t" in it. Kinda loud as I couldn't help but notice why he said it. And no the staff left it there for everyone else to slip on. Now back to my food. Same chicken as before not so well presented. And as far as our waitress. Wasn't around often enough to get us refills. We had to ask. So we finally got the check and glad to get out of there. Mainly due to the issue of it feeling like an ice box. It was cold outside. It even colder inside. I even noticed a lot of people wearing their coats. Now our bill wasn't adjusted either. Despite the manager or waitress not noticing that the chicken was untouched on the same plate they had it on. Also I thought the manager would notice the small details in each customers needs. Like when I asked for a refill. I had a lime in my drink. And she brought back a lemon. But our waitress brought back a lime. Really? Just don't pay attention and get it over with so you can go abut your busy schedule being a manager. Will I be back? Probably not. The Roadhouse (no, not the totally cheesy yet riviting 80s movie with Patrick Swazey) is the place to be! My boyfriend and I started going there about 6 months ago, and we go there every week--yeah, we have become the 'regulars'. The cool thing abou this place is that you can sit at the bar, and there is a waiting list for those seats that tend to go faster than the dining room. PLUS, the bartenders kick some serious butt! Trust me, you go once, you keep coming back. Great service, wonderful food, good ol time country music, and just a fun place to be. read more

So I went here for the second time last night and thank God I gave this place a second chance because my first time here....SMH!!! Let's just say NEVER order chicken at a steakhouse. I ordered the chicken critters the first time I went, and that is what I got. The chicken looked like they legit took a "critter" and deep-fried it. Needless to say, I didn't eat it, I took 2 bites and then I just had to stop. The chicken was good, but visually the food just disturbed me. However, this time around I went with the "Half Slab", which I am not going to lie, I envisioned a slab of meat on my plate. The thing I caught onto with this place is that the food names do not sound appetizing at all and you may just get what you ordered, EXACTLY how it sounds. However, I am happy to report that I actually got to eat my food this time, and I give the ribs a thumbs up. I prefer Outback's ribs all day though!!! So why 3 stars? Well, the customer service here is great, my waitress both times, was perky and always checked in to see if everything was okay so that was a plus. The atmosphere is fun and full surprises, you never know when the waiters will dance and chant, or when it will be someone's birthday and they have to sit in the saddle lol!!! The negatives....First Impressions are important, I already told you about my food the first time so that explains itself. The other reason, and this could just be me being prissy, I am not a fan of the peanut shells everywhere nor eating a meal while someone at another table spits the shells on the floor right next to me. If you are a fan of bbq ribs, great margaritas,and all the buns with cinnamon butter you can eat then you have died and went to heaven at the Road House. I believe that timing is everything when it comes to the quality of your food here so a word to the wise don't come too early or too late, but other than that it really is a great place to dine and at a decent price. The service isn't bad and though when you walk in it literally looks a mess the dinning area isn't bad as well. I would recommend sticking to the ribs and mash potatoes and trying to wear stretchy pants because their portions are huge and you will definitely want to scrape your plate clean! read more

I usually come to this Texas Roadhouse at least 3 or 4 times a month since this place has opened! I have seen waitresses come and go. Many of them are young, but at least they do things right. My last visit with them was the worst one ever. I asked if I could have double salad for the sides and substitue the fries for a cup of chilli. Now I didn't know they would have charged me for having the same side. I was fine with that even though the waitress should have said something. When the check came, she said she would adjust it for us because we didn't know. The best she could do when she came back was charge us for the chilli. That is fine, we got ripped off of the fries, but I guess that is the same s charging us for the double salad? The biggest problem was when she charged us fr refills on coffee and tea!!! Do you know any place that does that? We always get coffee and tea for the parentever sicne coming here and this was the first time anyone ever charged us for refills. When questioned about it, she was reluctant to change the bill and said this was the manager's policy. I told her it's even written on the menu, "free refills for coffee, tea, and soft drinks". It was then that she took the menu and showed it to her manager. She came back with no apology and just dropped off the bill. This was probably a problem with the manager. What an idiot. If the waitress had to change the bill twice, don't you think you should comeout to say something? I came to eat with my bf and we come here alll the time n we always have a great time except for today! we had to wait forever n saw bunch of ppl go in n out before us which was weird. ok i get the call ahead seating (which we had forgot to do) but don't send the whole football team ahead of us when we were there 15 minutes before them. anyways so our buzzer finally buzzes n the greeter took us to our seat but it wasn't cleaned n we had wait to get it cleaned.. when we try to sit, the table n bench was all wet n nasty..probably the same towel they been cleaning the whole day spreading germs.. anyways so i put da napkin as a cover so i can sit on it, when da waitress introduced herself, i asked her if she can bring us new napkins n she asked if we dropped our forks and knives, i answered by saying that the table was wet and we had to use our napkins to wipe it down, all she said was "oh" no apology no nothing, just "OH". ..we wait, we wait, we wait.. finally our napkins come after our drinks, which came 15 minutes after we had told her what drinks we wanted..she finally takes our order (25 minutes after sitting down) don't even know how long we waited for food, and even then it seemed a lil cold when it came out. i ordered double grilled pork chop n all i ate was 20% of it.my bf ordered the smothered chicken and when it came out it looked microwaved and it wasn't "smothered" as said. he had to ask for the gravy that went with it and it took forever to get to him. fed up with it cuz i did have amazing time here before, now its gonna b some place i used to go. we understand that it was busy but even on busy nights like this night, before, we've never had such a bad experience. the greeters were rude and childish. they ignored my bf to talk to one another when he asked how come 7 or 8 people got to go ahead of us. the girl finally says we were next and even then, another family were seated before us. it was ridiculous. oh and the coke and sprite mix is just absurd, if you don't have ginger ale, just say so, don't give us that mix and pass it off as ginger ale. that's just cutting corners and trying to "avoid" conflict. made me and my bf very upset. all in all, we spent an hour and 45 minutes there 30 minutes waiting to get seated, then another 20 to get our order in and literally another 30 to get the food and we just left after a couple of bites and finishing our drinks. so very disappointed. read more

T Roadhouse is always busy! Call ahead is a must! Love the food here when the staff doesn't seem to be falling short. Tonight I was waited on by a magnificent women whom went by the the name of "TA$HA". Yes, with a money emblem and for good reason! This lady knows her stuff! Extremely funny and full of personality. She made us feel at home. (though my home is not as loud) her suggestions of food were to the point, along with her impeccable timing with refills, and catering to not only our needs but everyone else's! The best experience I have had with a waitress or in the Everett Texas Roadhouse by far! Bone in ribeye is where it's at! Be prepared to eat portions are huge! I'm rating this restaurant a 4 service for the first time was exquisite! Food was amazing and FOR ONCE not rushed. I've been here several times, however never had an experience like I had this mothers day. Went there with my family, 9 of us including a 2 year old. Where they sat us, didn't seem like it would be very comfortable and not seat all of us well. We expressed this to our hostess, who due to inexperience seemed to think we were "yelling" at her, when that was not the case at all. Then out of no where pops up the "Managing Partner" or "owner" as he referred to himself and abruptly asked my husband to leave the restaurant or he was going to call the cops! WTF, why don't you handle it like a real manager would and find out first what is happening and try to accomodate!!! He was a true A hole, and the customer service sucked! I have to give props to our server though, because even though we decided to stay, due to the fact that we had my 2 young nieces and my elderly mother with us, "Monica" was amazing! To bad it was her last day as she was about to have a baby! I used to love coming to this location but my latest visit yesterday for my brother's birthday dinner changed my outlook entirely. When we were brought to our table, our benches were full of food crumbs and table wasn't entirely cleaned. We were seated and ordered our drinks. My brother ordered the Jamaican Cowboy Margarita and I ordered the Hurricane Margarita after the waitress said it was one of the more popular drinks. When the drinks came, I noticed that my drink was the same color as my brother's and when I asked if mine was the Hurricane Margarita, the waitress said that she "thought I had wanted the same drink as my brother" - I know I saw her writing down the orders and she specifically suggested the Hurricane Margarita, so how did she manage to eff that up?! Fine, whatever, I didn't mind and took the wrong drink anyway because I have tried the Cowboy Margarita before and it was decent. Strike one. Then we order our food and my house salad came...with the wrong dressing...strike two. How she managed to mess this one up is beyond my understanding because I ordered the same type of salad and dressing for my mom. Waitress apologized and told me to keep my salad while she went to get the correct dressing. Meanwhile, we are all eating our cactus onion ring appetizer and bread rolls with no plates. I could have sworn we used to get plates for apps in the past... Anyway, our food came and I shit you not...she gave me a ribeye instead of the prime rib. Strike fricken three. So here I am, the only one out of a party of 8 without food. How frustrating!!! She messed up my drink order, dressing, and most importantly, entree!!! I think the manager came by to ask how everything was, to which I replied "could be better" and when I told her about my entree she said she'd personally bring out my order. Well of course by the time everyone finished eating was when my food came out. Don't get me wrong, the prime rib was delish but of course, being the last to eat and getting shafted 3 times just ruined the experience for me. I think the waitress must have came by the table a few times before noticing that my margarita glass was empty and asked if I wanted a refill or something else to drink. Not wanting her to eff up my order a 4th time because I would totally lose my shit at that point, I declined. Oh, and the best part? EVERYTHING was oversalted. My brother-in-law's chili was too salty, all of our sauteed mushrooms on meat were salty, and come on, even the corn side dish was salty. This review is based on takeout, though I have gone here to dine in and have been skipped over multiple times because the buzzer they give you was broken. The wait is never worth it anyway, which is why we decided to get take out. Called on a Sunday night at about 6:45 to order 2 salads and an appetizer for takeout. I was on hold for a good 10 minutes before I was able to place my order. When I did place my order, the girl didn't repeat anything back. She just kept saying "yup anything else" after each item. She told us it would be about 20 min before it was ready. When we went to pick it up (15 min drive and we waited about 10 min to leave) the order still wasn't ready. We waited a few more minutes, and went home. When we got home we realized that one of the salads was incorrect (my fault for not asking her to repeat I guess) and we were missing the appetizer. We were charged for it. My boyfriend called to let them know they didn't give it to us and he would like the charge taken off his debit card. He was transferred to someone named Caitlyn (who we assumed was a manager since she didn't identify herself) who told him he would have to come back in order for her to give him his money back. Like I said, it's a 15 min drive and we were already home. At my workplace, I am able to refund a card without having it in front of me and I find it hard to believe that Texas Roadhouse doesn't have that capability. So since we weren't driving another 15 min back, the only thing this person could do for us is mail us a voucher for the price of the appetizer. we used to love this restaurant, but for the past 6 months we had a few bad experience. not that we don't give chances. this time is worse than ever. first of all, we went in to get the buzzer to wait and told the hostess that we will be waiting in the car because my two babies are still sleeping and we needed two high chair set up. they said ok. so, our friends arrived, so we give them the buzzer and say if the table ready let us know. so when the buzzer buzzed, my friend told us immediately going in to the restaurant. (it takes us 2mins) because need to get the babies out of the car. when we walked in, my friends said they gave the table away because we weren't there even my friend told them what we told them before hand. so, I talked to one of the hostess manager why they do this. she just said sorry, because this is corporate policies and walked away. then why they said ok when I asked in the beginning? so, after about 15min or so, we got a table, but the table wasn't set as requested. no high chairs, the host that brought us to the table ask us to wait and do not know what to do. Then, we waited again. luckily, the waiter was smart enough, immediately he went and grab high chairs for us. so, who's fault was it? I think the hostess staff aren't trained well and the hostess manager should be replace is she doesn't know how to do the job. it really ruined the first impression for the restaurant itself. if is just me and my family, I would walked out already. food wise, my friend ordered a 16oz. rare rib eye. he end up with 6oz. of raw steak on the plate. the waiter offered to make another plate, my friend didn't want to because he loss the appetite. we did not ask for refund or anything, but the restaurant manager didn't even come by to apologize for what happen. to be honest, this is not the first time we found the steak not cooking properly. we know that we only expect what quality for the price we paid. so, base on my culinary experience, I do not put high expectation when I go in. read more

I went here with my boyfriend and we had an overall wonderful experience!! We first walked in and were immediately greeted, even though it was fairly busy. The hostess was on the phone, so the manager welcomed us. He asked if we had ever been. We said no. He then showed us all the different kinds of meat selections we can specifically choose, if we choose too. We followed him to our table and he continued telling us how everything is hand prepared, including the fresh rolls he placed down in front of us (with cinnamon sugar butter!) He told us our server would be right over and he would be back to check on us. Our server arrived promptly and took our drink orders as we reviewed the menu. No more than 3 minutes later, the manager came back with six of their side dishes for us to choose. He explained each side, how it is prepared, and why it is different from the "usual" side you'd find at other restaurants. I was extremely impressed! We each had a wonderful meal, and it was for a great price! As we were paying the bill the manager visited us again to ask how we enjoyed our dinner and experience. We told him we were 100% satisfied and we would definitely be coming back. He said he was very pleased and gave us a "free appetizer card" for our next visit. WOW! I went to Texas Road House for the first time yesterday, was totally not what I expected. I like the difference though, the slightly loud music, peanut shells everywhere and pretty much a butcher shop in there too; a bit more of a unique atmosphere and I could appreciate that. The portions were HUGE, my friends got the baby blossom and buffalo wings, I got the rattlesnake bites. The baby blossoms were great we couldn't finish it. As for the wings I can say I have had better, the rattlesnake bites were pretty good. The rolls they gave us were steaming and I can say the rolls are amazing compared to the ones I have had in almost all other places. The waitress would constantly bring us refills when she notice that we have a third left of our drinks. However I have to say that despite her being very accommodating, I feel like she didn't spend enough time with the customers; benefit of the doubt is that she was busy. Otherwise the steak was great, but I would suggest that if anybody wants to get there steak they way they want it, to go early because at some point they run out of rares and medium rares. But overall I like the atmosphere, the food, portion size, and how accommodating the waitress was. read more

My family loves the Texas Roadhouse. The Texas Roadhouse in Methuen, Mass was one we didn't have as great of an experience as we did at the Texas Roadhouse in Brockton, MA. But Methuen did have reasonable prices with great ribs and also great steaks! My family loves the steaks because they got to pick out their very own one they wanted to eat. Our server was very nice and she was always checking in on us about the food. But when i ordered the ribs with corn and a caeser salad that is where i started to not want to eat. I found a bug that was dead stuck to my lettuce. So we told the waiter and the manager came over. Thankfully the rest of my meal was great. Also one of my brothers friends ordered a hamburger and they actually gave him a cheeseburger. So every body had their food and he was still waiting. Finally his food came out but everybody else had already finished their meals.
