I have not been to this establishment in years. The last time was when we ordered takeout during COVID and had such an disappointing experience that we have not been back since. But this is where my MiL wanted to go for Mothers Day so my husband and I took her, along with my brother and sister in law. We got there at 11:30 on Sunday and it was pretty busy but not packed yet. Before we even entered the building, an employee handed the women in the party each a rose! What a lovely touch. My MiL is disabled and so we got her situated in the waiting area before going up and adding our party to the wait list. The hostess immediately got us a table and we were seated right away, which was also very nice. Our server was Sierra and she was delightful. She brought us SO MUCH bread and it was so deliciously warm. I try not to eat the bread before the meal so I can eat most of my entree, but this bread is amazing. And with the cinnamon honey butter?! I forgot how yummy it was. All of my in-laws got the smothered chicken with loaded sweet potatoes and house salads as their sides. My husband and I got ribeye's (cooked medium). I got my with a house salad and loaded mased potatoes, while my husband got a Caesar salad and baked potato with butter. Y'all, their salads are really, really good. They were fresh and the croutons are phenomenal. We didn't wait too long for our food which was impressive since it was so busy. Sierra waited for us to cut into our steaks before she walked away. They were cooked perfectly. I thought they were seasoned really well but my husband said his could have used more salt. My mashed potatoes were tasty but my husband wished is baked potato was warmer...he said it wasn't even melting all the butter. The smothered chicken looked good as well. The manager came over at least twice during our meal to make sure that everything was ok. When Sierra brought us our check, she told us there was no rush, which was kind but we left as soon as we could since they were packed. I'm not sure if they are under new management, but the service we received exceeded expectations. I was very pleased. My only complaint (which there is really nothing they can do about this) is the noise level. It was so loud that it was difficult to hear my soft spoken MiL. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years, including food service, so I understand how both the front of house and back of house should work together. Unfortunately, the management team tonight was a complete disappointment. First, credit where it's due--our server, Kaylee, was great. She checked on us multiple times and did everything she could to help. The problem was not the server. The problem was management. My food came out extremely salty--so salty my lips were literally starting to shrivel up (the fries somehow tasted bland in comparison). I let Kaylee know, and she went to the kitchen and came back explaining it may have been due to the brine. I asked to switch my order, which she said was no problem. It was a busy Friday night, so I completely understood the replacement might take longer. What I don't understand is the complete lack of management involvement. Kaylee explained that when an order is remade, a manager is supposed to deliver it to ensure the issue is resolved and the guest is taken care of. She told us she repeatedly asked for someone to come to the table. They never did. Meanwhile, tables that were seated after us finished their meals and left. The person I was dining with finished their entire meal. And I was still sitting there waiting. No manager came to apologize. No one came to explain a delay. No one came to check on the situation. Nothing. Communication is the bare minimum in customer service. A simple update or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. For context: our table was ready at 6:36 PM and we didn't leave until 8:14 PM. Sadly, this isn't the first disappointing experience I've had at this location, but it will be the last. For anyone in management who might read this, I'd strongly recommend two books: Uncommon Service: How to Win by Putting Customers at the Core of Your Business & You're Not Listening: What You're Missing and Why It Matters. At this point, I won't be returning--but hopefully this review saves someone else from the same experience. I've gotten better experiences with McDonald's management team; that says a lot right there. read more

For some reason the whole place was really Smokey. I've been here many times and this was not normal, and it was quite unpleasant. I ordered the "vegetable sampler" which is 4 sides. I got the side salad (which was fine), a loaded sweet potato (delicious), the Mac and cheese (pretty sure this came from a box), and a bowl of chili (just terrible- good flavor but 99% gristle and it had no beans! I couldn't eat more than a bite or two because I kept having to spit our gristle, which was gross). The rolls and butter are great. The server was attentive and refilled our drinks a lot. I haven't been to this restaurant in years. I decided to go for my birthday. There was flies everywhere while we were eating, and there was also a dead fly on our table when we sat down. The waiter didn't really listen. We've had to ask them for items we've asked for already many times. Also the fries had an aftertaste it almost taste like dish water. My mother, who I came with, also had a weird aftertaste with her steak. We didn't really have a great experience, but atmosphere was very welcoming. I wouldn't really recommend it. We normally love coming to Texas Roadhouse, the place is so lively and the rolls are one of the best things. I have to say this trip I tried the wings for the first time and they were delicious! But unfortunately one of our people in our party had dry wings and another had overcooked steak, so consistency was a little off this visit. Texas Roadhouse is a well-known establishment across the US for affordable steak, and I'd say it's decent for the value. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and the restaurant was already about half-full. The wait wasn't too long to get seated, but I did notice that there is an option to join the waitlist through the app if I get around to downloading it. The service was friendly, and the hot bread loaves and butter were served promptly. I ended up ordering a cactus blossom (basically a blooming onion or onion blossom) and the steak and ribs combo. The portion sizes were very generous, as I was already full from the bread and onions. The steak was cooked perfectly, and I really appreciate that the server asked me to cut into the steak to test the doneness. I ended up bringing home the side of mashed potatoes and ribs, which was easily enough for another meal. Overall a great experience, and I will be returning again soon. Pros: Fast, friendly service. The atmosphere was fun and lively, the waiter was friendly and attentive. The steak was beyond horrible. I ordered a 12 oz medium rare ribeye. What they served was cooked hard like saddle leather. I asked them to please return it and bring out a medium rare steak, it came back barely cooked. My 12 oz steak had 5 oz of fat and gristle. The flavor was so bad that no amount of steak sauce could mask it. For $30+ I expected much better quality. I mean it didn't need to be Ruth's Chris, but come on! I'm giving two stars only because I had dinner there with my family -- everything else was disappointing. The service was terrible, and the staff was disorganized and indifferent. We waited around 30 minutes for the bread rolls, and only got them after reminding the waiter. The appetizers were brought after we had already finished our main course and were ready to leave -- the check was already on the table. For a place that tries to present itself as a decent restaurant, this is just embarrassing. To make things worse, the restaurant is open until 10 PM, but by 8 PM the staff had already started putting chairs on tables, even though there were still guests eating nearby. That's completely unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customers. And as a final touch -- there was no soap in either of the two dispensers in the restroom. That really says a lot about the management and their attention to basic cleanliness and customer care. The level of service is absolutely unacceptable. I'm not coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

It just two of us and there was 12 people ahead us when we arrived at 6:30 and we were seated in 15 minutes. Our server was experienced and guided us through the menu. We went last night (4-22) for my cousins' birthday dinner and included a friend that had never been. Called ahead and joined the waitlist and were seated promptly once arrived. She came back, sat drinks down and quickly said I will be right back (we didn't get a chance to say anything) several minutes passed before she returned and then she asked if she could take our order and I said, "well we would still like appetizers'' she took appetizer order and then asked if we ready with main orders, we had chosen so we went ahead and ordered, however we ordered our appetizers 1st!! From the beginning she gave off a "hurry vibe" (when we had barely sat down, and she asked for drink and appetizer, and we hadn't even reached over to grab menu) needless to say salads and meals came out and when we asked about appetizers, she stated she had checked and they were coming. Somehow, we knew they weren't!! and at this point everyone had main entrees!! We asked to just cancel the appetizers! She was very unconcerned and we wondered if she ever put them in! She tried to be very pleasant using the term "sug" every time she spoke to one of us! She bought 1 drink refill and at the end I requested she take my check as I had a gift card and I really don't like the kiosk thingy, but she kept standing there insisting that I use it so I did! I am big tipper because I was waitress! But I tipped below 17% last night when I normally tip 25%! As a group we felt she didn't do much of anything!!! I don't smoke and can't stand it. So that kinda pissed me off .. but anywho .. I'm not a Karen .. the 2 hostess were really nice, but as they were seeing us the same Employee that blew the smoke in the face bumped into me as I was walking causing me run into the trough they have on the wall for I'm guessing silverware.. our waitress was really nice. Really mediocre. Our server Taylor was great, she tried to check in as much as she could with how busy it was. The cactus blossom was smaller than I remember. I ordered the country fried chicken with a Caesar salad and loaded sweet potato, and I wish the food was warmer/creamier with more gravy! After a long drive, Texas Roadhouse was one of the few restaurants still opened late. We ordered: * Smokehouse burger with fries and no onions * Bone-in Ribeye with a baked potato and buttered corn * two servings of bread because how can you not? Our server was sweet as pie and provided great service. As for the food, my burger was prepared perfectly and was well seasoned however my boyfriend's ribeye was requested medium rare but parts of his steak was blue rare. Overall a pretty average experience from what you expect from a Texas Roadhouse (however I will always be down to visit just for their bread). read more

Worst meal and customer service I've experienced. Ordered 2 14oz ribeyes medium rare which were each priced at $25.49. Our meal took about 45 minutes to arrive and both were overcooked. We only sent one of the two back because it was cooked well done. Had to send it back so the could "quickly get a replacement out". After awaiting another 30 minutes, we cancelled the steak because we hadn't received it and were told they would take it off the bill. When we got the bill, they had only subtracted $16. Had to request a manager to come who agreed it was incorrect and she would fix it. She came back and said it was correct because the other manager said the steak was $16 and the side of fries was $11, so they only subtracted the $16. I asked to speak to the other manager and expressed that we had been her 2 hours, had a horrible experience on what was supposed to be a special night and the least she could do was take off the meal. She came back saying it was her fault because the steak was $18 so she removed an additional 2 dollars. I told her that I thought the right thing to do would be to remove the entire meal so she finally did. But, very unprofessional, took about 45 minutes to get it corrected and the overall experience was awful. Other steaks were dry, hard, and flavorless. Will not come back to this location. read more

Love going to Texas Roadhouse, good food for good value. This location is hit or miss, however. Keep going here just because it's conveniently located. Service at times can be slow but I get it, it gets really busy especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Food is good, but orders are often done with mistakes. Last time I was here I ordered beef tips with mashed potatoes with butter and sour cream. The plate arrived with no sour cream, and also the presentation was just not there, the plate had splatters all over. My partner ordered beef tips with mashed potatoes with double sour cream and no butter, the plate arrived with butter and no sour cream. Mistakes happen, no big deal, we just asked for a side of sour cream, and they brought a side of butter and sour cream mixed in together. On one of my previous visits I ordered full slab of ribs, and as a frequent visitor I can tell the difference between full and half slab. I got half slab, it was clear as day. Pointed that out to the waitress and she proceeded to argue with me instead of making it right, got me a manager, and the manager tried to talk me down and at the end gave me a side of ribs to make up for it as a huge exception.
