Beef brisket, turkey, Texan toast, coleslaw, cornbread, and potato salad.

The cashier was wonderful and allowed my husband to try their beef brisket. She was working with just one hand. The space was large and rather clean. Brisket and turkey breast were both amazingly good. So were the sides and the delicious wings.

Brisket before business. This fast-casual BBQ spot offers meals of all sizes. Right after landing at RDU and grabbing a rental car, my coworker and I headed straight to this spot for lunch. Priorities! I got the 'Sampler: 2 Meats, 2 Sides, Texas Toast' with my choices of 18-Hour Brisket (smoky, tender, yummy) and Pulled Pork (bland without sauce). Thankfully, the vinegar-based Swine Wine sauce from the sauce bar saved the day. The Cornbread was okay and too smooth for me (I like crumbs and crustiness), but the Collard Greens were delicious! NOTES/TIPS: **Super friendly, patient, helpful, fast service. **Huge space, lots of tables. Easy parking in their own lot. **The sauce bar (~8 sauces) deserves a medal. Swine Wine carried this mission.

    Pulled Chicken ??

Ordered a combo meal with 2 meats and 2 sides. For $20 I was a little taken aback by how small it was? I love bbq and order my fair share but have not seen portions this small from anywhere else. The "smoked" turkey wasn't smoky at all. The pulled chicken was mixed with mayo? That's a first... potato salad is decent and same with cole slaw. Certainly nothing to write home about! Not impressed and a tad annoyed, but hey, at least I know where not to head back to!

The service was fast and kind! The meat had so much flavor in each type. The fries came out hot and crunchy! Every bite was delicious. Im glad I dropped in between doctor visits!

LoLo's Pulled Pork, 3-Cheese Baked Mac

Before I moved to North Carolina, you would never catch me with coleslaw on my plate, but that all changed the first time I tried Lolo's pulled pork sandwich. Something about the mix of the swine wine sauce and the creamy yet crunchy slaw just makes for the absolute perfect combo and now, more than 8 years later, I'm a slaw-on-my-pulled-pork-sandwich convert! Truly, all thanks to this sandwich. And over all these years, it's remained consistently delicious. Service here is usually pretty good! Staff is friendly when you order and pickup at the counter. That's all you'll really interact with them. Pre-COVID times, there were pickles and onions for your sandwiches and lemon wedges for your tea set out in a condiment bar by the self-service sauce and drink stations--that hasn't come back. Now things sit empty and collect random straw wrappers and lids because customers can't be bothered to put their trash in the correct bins and as is the case in most food service locations, they're too understaffed to have people maintaining the dining area. It's off-putting when the receptacles for dirty dishes are overflowing during busy rushes. So I'm taking off a star for ambiance only because things don't feel as clean as they could be. Again, with staffing issues, it still feels like they're doing the best they can and prioritizing getting quality food to you fast.

You know a BBQ place is excellent if they 1) sell meat by the pound and 2) have paper towel rolls at the tables instead of napkins. Check those boxes for City Barbeque. Great brisket, juicy chicken, ribs were perfect with a great pull, seasonal cucumber and onion side was tasty and not sweet, green beans and bacon side definitely had a subtle bacon flavor and the beans were not overcooked and the Hoppyum IPA was hopyummy. Everyone behind the counter was really friendly and they brought out a couple of slower items directly to my table. I will definitely be back. Remember to tip well. They all work hard there.

This was my first time but my friend's hundredth (her words!) There was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and informed that we could choose where we sat and just to scan the table QR code when we were ready to order. We chose a high top and a server brought us water. The vibrant colors and decor gave off excellent vibes. I ordered the Karaage Bowl (on greens instead of rice AND all the sauces on the side) and a side order of seaweed salad. A server brought them to our table. It was not necessary for us to get up once we were seated. Everything was SO GOOD. Like, "I'm mad at myself for not coming here before" good. All of the sauces were amazing too. I ordered them on the side since I wasn't sure how I would like them all, but I think I'll leave them on next time. The "greens" were a mix of lettuce and cabbage. The side of seaweed salad for $2.50 seemed a little small when they brought it out but it was packed in there and was plenty. The server came around a couple of times to check on us and top off our water. We bussed our own trash. There was only one unisex bathroom that I saw. There seemed like a lot of takeout orders going out (it was a little separate from the dining area which was nice). There was also a lovely outdoor area that would be nice if it wasn't 100 degrees. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!

This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.
