I recently tried Firebirds for the first time while visiting North Carolina, and I was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Ella, was the true rockstar of the experience. She was so kind, attentive, and welcoming. The hostess also went above and beyond by helping my mom, who uses a wheelchair, with the front doors, which was greatly appreciated. We ordered from the lunch menu, and the prices were very reasonable. My son of course devoured his chicken fingers with French fries. My dad and sister split the burger and Mac and cheese. They said it was good. The only downside was that our food took quite a while to come out. I ordered the BLT Salad with a loaded baked potato on the side. The salad was fresh, but it had way too much dressing, so next time I'll definitely ask for it on the side. Overall, the friendly service made a lasting impression, and I'd be happy to give Firebirds another try.

Service here without a smile. I never seen so many blank faces of employees here. The girl that seated us did not smile, our waitress did not smile. Looking at the other wait staff, no one smiled. Food prices have gone up here and the taste has gone down. What a shame . Well it will be a long time if ever I will darken Firebirds doors again. This used to be a good place to go. How things change.

I had a great experience dropping in for dinner on my way to a concert in Raleigh. This location is part of the Southpoint shopping area, and I really enjoyed the spacious layout and the cozy fireplace feature of the design. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered some excellent recommendations, and the food itself was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the prime rib and the filet, and the charred carrots were a definitive standout. The well-crafted cocktails were also a nice addition to the dinner. I will certainly visit this location again when I'm in the area.

Over cooked "medium well" NY strip

We weren't impressed! After waiting for over an hour for our table we were disappointed by the food! Staff is great and pleasant especially with how busy the place was! But the food was just okay! My NY strip was way over cooked and dry, waiter was nice and offered to replace it but it was just too late! The mushroom glaze had no glaze! It was so dry. Mashed potatoes were good but a little salty

We sat in the bar area and the service was decent. I ordered a strawberry alcoholic drink (I cannot remember the name) and my mom ordered the Lemonade Drop. Both of these drinks were quite terrible actually. They both tasted like they had been mixed with no alcohol and were rather tasteless. My mom ended up returning hers because it was so terrible and they were gracious enough not to charge us for it. I kept mine because I didn't want to return two drinks but was very disappointed by it. To eat, I had the Grilled Salmon Salad with balsamic vinaigrette. this was actually reasonably good with well cooked salmon, crispy lettuce, and crunchy pecans. However, the drinks were such a disappointment that the salad did not make for unfortunately. I likely won't be back here.

Came to this location for a book club meetup. The thing that stuck out the most was the service. We had 6 people, not a huge party, but enough. But the service was beyondddddd slow. It seemed like everyone around us was getting their food before us who had ordered after us. There were some mistakes with drinks, a few of us ordered the Hail Mary's and received regular bloody Mary's instead. That led to needing the charge to be adjusted once the bill came. Some girls did not want to order a second round of drinks because they felt like it would take too long. Now the food was actually very delicious, so it sucks that the service was pretty bad. Not sure if I'll be back to this location due to that and may try a different location instead.

Considering that we had a large group, we had a great time. Our food came out in a timely manner and the waiter was excellent. Our was amazing and piping hot. The restaurant was clean and very kids friendly. I will definitely return.

I'm a longtime patron at this Firebirds and have enjoyed their regular menu, weekend brunch menu, and sat at a FireBar hightop for happy hour. The main dining room features tables offering kitchen views and booths that offer more privacy for those fireside conversations. Take a look behind the bar at their wine cellar. They have a floor-to-ceiling display of exquisite bottles. Choose your favorite wine region and ask your server for recs. You can't go wrong with their menu; there's a bit of everything: steaks, grilled fish, salads, pasta, burgers... I'm a big fan of their lemonade. I almost always order one when asked for my drink choice. The waitstaff are prompt and ensure each visit is satisfying. Thanks for all you do!

This place is a complete let down and it was my first and last time going here. Beware of extremely slow service and subpar food. I ordered a cheddar burger with steak seasoned fries except I swapped beef patty for crispy chicken. And I used UberEats app, but not for delivery, just for pickup. The app showed an estimate of 25 minutes. So wanting to pick up my burger at around 1:30pm for my lunch break, I placed an order a couple minutes after 1pm. I arrived exactly after 30 minutes of placing my order. It was Sunday, the place looked moderately busy but not crazy busy -- there were plenty of tables available and no one was waiting to be seated. Anyway, hostess checked on my order and said it'll be just a few minutes they are wrapping up with the burger. 10 minutes go by, 15 minutes, nothing. She checks again -- "they're almost done, sorry about the wait!". Another 15 minutes goes by and they finally bring out my order, an hour after I placed it, with original estimate of 25 minutes; so 35 minutes late. I take my order and leave the establishment, settle down at a table at the mall maybe 5 minutes later, if that. Fries are all soggy and lukewarm. You can tell they were sitting around for a hot minute. I did not see or taste any kind of seasoning on the fries, it was just plain salt. Burger... on the menu it says it comes with lettuce, tomato, red onion. Mine had none of that. It was dry bun, dry crispy chicken (chicken looked freshly cooked so I suppose hostess was not lying that they were working on a burger, I bet those fries were sitting in that container for at least 40 minutes), and a slice of cheese. Burger was extremely dry, unpleasant to eat, I couldn't finish it. Fries, again, were soggy; and again I opened container and started eating it in less than 5 minutes so it's not like it was me who kept it there for long. Bottom line, save yourself a hassle and dine elsewhere. Southpoint has plenty of other options.

Honey Garlic Chicken was soo good! Chicken was tender but there was a right amount of honey that blended well with it.

Honey Garlic Chicken was soo good! Chicken was tender but there was a right amount of honey that blended well with the tomato's. Paired with Parmesan Mashed Potatoes and port mushrooms. The drinks are always good.

Went here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night. Made reservations on open table and we were seated as soon as we arrived. I did hear the people behind us walked in and there was an hour and a half wait. I would suggest making reservations. Our server Mitchell was extremely nice, we started off with the chimichurri shrimp as an appetizer. I ordered the ribeye medium and sides of broccoli and baked potato. The steak does only come with one side but I opted for two. The steak was seasoned well, but I did feel it was cooked medium well. The restaurant was that full, and it was very quiet, all the noise was at the bar; I think a game was on. All in all I would go back, but maybe I will try medium rare and it would be medium.

Yummy!!

Ordered the Grilled Chicken & mash potatoes last night via DoorDash & I love the way everything was packaged & it was super fresh. Would order from here again via door dash.

The entire store is filled with wines from all over the world. The best part? None of them are from big companies. Every single one of them are from local/ small businesses (You can see some of the business owners photos by the wines!). The owner/ founder of Wine Authorities has been working with a lot of the wineries for many years. They taste every new batch they purchase to ensure quality. Although they have many businesses they've been working with for a long time, they go to wine shows and events in Europe to discover new ones! I like my wine very sweet but there were so many choices that I was a bit overwhelmed. I asked the nice lady at the register to give me recommendations and I loved the wine she recommended. If you are a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, just ask for help. They are very informative and helpful! Aside from their amazing wine, they also have beer, cider, sake, hot sauce, honey, meats, and etc. You will find at least one thing you will love. On Saturdays, they have free wine tastings from 12-3pm! If you cannot make it there on time, you can always buy a bottle or two. They will give you glasses to drink in the back or outside if the weather is nice outside! You can also buy snacks or cheese to go with your wines.
