The entire store is filled with wines from all over the world. The best part? None of them are from big companies. Every single one of them are from local/ small businesses (You can see some of the business owners photos by the wines!). The owner/ founder of Wine Authorities has been working with a lot of the wineries for many years. They taste every new batch they purchase to ensure quality. Although they have many businesses they've been working with for a long time, they go to wine shows and events in Europe to discover new ones! I like my wine very sweet but there were so many choices that I was a bit overwhelmed. I asked the nice lady at the register to give me recommendations and I loved the wine she recommended. If you are a bit overwhelmed with all the choices, just ask for help. They are very informative and helpful! Aside from their amazing wine, they also have beer, cider, sake, hot sauce, honey, meats, and etc. You will find at least one thing you will love. On Saturdays, they have free wine tastings from 12-3pm! If you cannot make it there on time, you can always buy a bottle or two. They will give you glasses to drink in the back or outside if the weather is nice outside! You can also buy snacks or cheese to go with your wines. Also, if you are a little hungry, you can buy a bottle from Wine Authorities and head to Thai Cafe next door and they will let you drink there without extra charge!

If you would enjoy buying 50 and 75+ $$ bottles you can find excellent selections but if your budget is more modest and you are looking for $15-25$ selections, you can buy with confidence as well. (CMS) and works for an importer/supplier now so I'm alwaus trying to scope out places to take we her to (or avoid) on my visits by myself. Great Grapes is a keeper. Very Knowledgeable help (a friend here lived in Italy and was very gracious with his time too) and I manages to strike gold on 2 finds that won't break the bank but are simply those lucky price point flavor profiles you can get for $18-$25/bottle...a real steal! The shop is clean, organized, and has a nice little tasting section--the 2 bottles I walked out with were both a result of the store opening a bottle of each for me to buy a glass, so that's an above and beyond effort--not to make the sale--but since I stated I was just in to try a glass or two, it was simply to see me walk away pleased with my sampling. 5 stars!!! I'll be back with my wife this summer.

So make sure you get there when you can. When you do the wine tastings you get to sit down (a very very small bar) and the bartender tells you all bout the wines. I had better conversations with the other patrons though! We had a good time! They have wine and cheese to go along with it so you can shop for that too. Super nice and super friendly, got greeted immediately and asked what could we do to help you, I thought that was really nice. Customer service, top tier. Along with the cheese app charcuterie and other type of meats. Not a grand section but enough. The have everything you need to be paired with the wine. They also have a bunch of beer in a front of the store so you can do beer if you don't feel like going wine. There are a few coolers, so you have options. They have people that are very knowledgeable and they told history on the different types of lines that really match what goes on on the walls because they have maps of different areas of wine regions on the walls. To be fair a wine store called "Winestore." is not very creative, but hey, if you're saving tons on wine, do you really need some kitchy creative name? Not this girl! Give me a $9 Dolcetto, $12 Willamette Pinot or $10 Sparkling Rose from Chile! Now, I haven't LOVED every bottle, but heck the price point is fantastic and they're quaffable. There are a few bottles that are more expensive, like $20, but I haven't splurged on those bottles yet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you don't know a lot about wine, fear not, they have information about the wine with descriptions, tasting notes and food pairings. If you're still not sure, the staff have their recommendations and can steer you in the right direction if you're looking for something specific or open to exploring.
