This review is based on a visit on 01/24/26. Stopped in for a late lunch to celebrate my mother's birthday. Our server was excellent - very friendly & made sure that when our waters were empty that they were immediately filled. Can't go wrong with any of the their locations, though. It was a Saturday so it was busy but after only a 5-minute wait, we were seated at one of the booths in the main dining area. Their green beans are the best. As a chain restaurant, Texas Roadhouse is typically pretty consistent. So is my usual order: the chicken critters and ribs combo. Their honey mustard dipping sauce is always on-point. The restaurant was clean, our waitress was friendly, there's ample parking, and it wasn't too busy so we didn't need to wait for a table. All in all, a good experience top to bottom. There aren't too many Texas Roadhouse locations around in the New England area, so capitalize when you see one. read more

I'm going to have to visit in a shirt that says "yes I've had the green beans before, stop f**king asking me and just bring them to me already!" - also the clapping and dancing, and rump shaking while I'm eating my steak is a bold choice. The sides were straight from a can and the mash potatos are bland. They are obnoxiously loud for birthday celebrations and the yelling goes on for a long time. We are locals I want to start with the best part of the night that made the whole entire evening was our waitress Kendall. She made the experience so much better. She was very attentive knew what she was doing, and I gave her a lot of kudos and if you eat at this restaurant I highly recommend having her as your waitress We made arrangements for a party of 10 as the restaurant does not take reservations we got there. There was no waiting for our table was more waiting on one person for our party not sure why they don't take reservations. And yes, if you have never been here before you do just throw your peanut shells on the ground. That is a real thing. The seating we were seated and was a little crowded felt bad for the party of two next to us We were here to celebrate a 17-year-old's birthday The atmosphere here is loud, but as it says, in the name of the restaurant, everything's always bigger and better in Texas I had ordered country fried sirloin with cream gravy with mushrooms and onions on it. I'm not a big fan of their food anyway, but it seemed to be the best thing that I would have eaten. The steak is very thin and it's drowned and whatever they put on top of it that you wish to have on top of it. My husband had the country fried chicken. Way too loud if you go as a couple or another couple that actually like to visit. The drinks are so so, too many sweet juicy drinks or most come with mixers. Some good specials and the bread and butter is the best place. Three of us ordered steaks and they were all cooked wrong, waitress redid but we waited 25 minutes and other person was done with meal by the time we got ours and again two were not cooked right so we asked to take home. Lately the cook on meats have been way off. Last two times have not been the best experience. read more

Got my text, went in, saw a big bag, my receipt and name on it, but no one around. Funny, I took my bag and when I got home, realized they charged me a 10% tip! WTF for? The Texas Roadhouse in Concord is now open, on the former Newick's site across the road from Harbor Freight. The last couple weeks has been busy at this location with the parking lot full and staff training and friends & family nights and the official grand opening on February 19, 2024.  I arrived here around 4:15 PM to catch the Early Dine special pricing and headed to the bar, but every seat was occupied. I also did the online waitlist for good measure, which was only less than 5 minutes. I was seated at a booth in the bar area. Each table has a bucket with a plastic bag of peanuts, menus, and ziosk (games, pay at table). I am so glad they opened this Texas Roadhouse in the Heights, since it's an easy 5 minute ride from work and I no longer have to haul a-s down to the Manchester location to try to beat the crowds after work and get the Early Dine pricing before 5pm. You can also pick your steak when your table is ready and given complementary fresh baked rolls with honey cinnamon butter. After I was seated, the server arrived to take my drink order and my food order since I already knew what was going to order. There are no longer broken peanut shells on the floor like before COVID, so I enjoyed some peanuts out of the plastic package. For dinner, I chose my favorite $12.99 Early Dine Special - Country Fried Sirloin served with choice of two sides, I chose mashed potatoes with butter and a house salad. The country fried sirloin was a good sized deep fried breaded steak smothered in white cream gravy, which was slightly chewy inside and crispy on the outside. The chunky mashed potatoes had a soft texture and good with dipping in the gravy. The house salad had a mix of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, croutons and eggs, dressing on the side. The staff did some line dancing over the loud country music over the speakers. I was given boxes & bag for the leftover food and more hot rolls and butter to bring home, score! The check was $14.09 with tax and before tip. I paid with a gift card at the ziosk, which is an upgrade from the old days when I had to wait to pay. Overall, a solid good and very filling dinner at a reasonable price. Though very busy, the service was on point with my food being served to me by kitchen runners and the server, other staff including the manager checking on my table. Bullshit! Started off badly when they tried to seat our birthday group at two separate tables. We'd called a week ago for this event only to be rudely told call 3 hours before. Did so, yet the large table behind us was "reserved" already... It only took them another 5 minutes so that was ok. Then we got our waitress JESS. What a BITCH. RUDE ABRUPT AND GENERALLY JUST NOT PLEASANT. We went out of our way to be pleasant, help with clearing etc....you know... the kill em with kindness approach. Food was ok. We went to TR yesterday and my husband ordered the steak as a suggestion of the waitress. It was a very poor cut of meat with tons of grissle. My husband could not eat it, but brought it home for the dog. His bill alone was about $60 (no alcohol). Very disappointed. Happy dog though. I did call TR they said too bad. read more

We dined here last night & ordered 2 Ribeyes cooked medium. There was another couple with us. It was brought out & it was medium rare!!! Our server Rachael Never came to ask how everything was. We got the 20oz & there was so much fat & gristle that we got only a couple good bites & they were chewy. The baked potatoe wasn't even Hot. When the check was brought she asked how everything was & I told her there was so much fat & showed her my plate & she just laughed. We were so dumbfounded by her actions I didn't think to ask for a Manager. We had to pay our bill on the Kiosk on the table. Not something we wanted to do & when my husband got up to go pay he was told we would have to wait for our server if we wanted to do it that way. Needless to say she made herself unavailable so had to figure out the option we had. We will NOT be going back again !!! This place is freaking LOUD! Sadly, very little local beers on draft. Oddly, the staff are forced to dance during certain songs, which simply make the service slower. We went here a couple of weeks ago. It is still fairly new, so I understand there might be a few glitches. However, I didn't expect it to be one big, long glitch! I ordered an extra dry gin martini, which came back loaded with Vermouth and someone squeezed a lemon into it too....yuck! The waitress took forever to return, so I ended up drinking it anyway. Now for the meal. I ordered a steak medium, with mashed potatoes and some other side. The steak was slightly overcooked, but it was cold as ice, and so were the potatoes. I sat there with the meal pushed away from me for a very long time, and our server walked by me several times without noticing this. I was finally able to get her attention to send it back. Waited another 10 minutes, and it came back cold again. At this point, I flagged down the server again, and she sent the manager over. She offered to get me something else, but by this time, the rest of my party was done eating so I asked them to box mine up. No comp was given or offered. All in all, a terrible experience. I'd rather go to Longhorn, where they actually know how to cook a steak, and serve it before it gets cold! I will give it two stars, since they are relatively new. We tried takeout. Chicken critter salad and potato skins. Everything was great. Parts of the salad were packed separately to keep everything fresh. The woman at the counter when I picked up the food was very pleasant. They have a separate door to go in for takeout. That was nice not having to deal with everyone at the main door. Me and my boyfriend went to eat at Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight and was not pleased. First of all we both had empty drinks and hadn't seen our waiter for around 30 minutes. The manager had to come see if we needed anything and then a few minutes later our waiter stopped by. Second of all there was an absurd amount of fat on our steaks. I'm aware steaks are supposed to have fat on them but not as much as we had to take off. After we got done taking off all of the fat we barely had steak left. Never coming back! read more

Horrible service. My whole party got there food except me. Waitress never came back after taking food order so we got no drink refills. She came back when everyone was done eating and asked how everything was. She had no clue i never got food. They then "expedited" my food to go and basically threw an uncooked steak in a broken to go container with a baked potato. Texas roadhouse in Concord is what it is., similar to others in the chain. I thought the food was pretty good, they were very busy and it wasn't ridiculously loud. I know it's not a sports bar but they have a lot of TVs which were pretty much all on the same channel. The big question for me is how can a restaurant in this day and age not have public Wi-Fi? At a minimum a password protected option. I give it 2.5 stars, I didn't realize it's fairly new. That will explain why it was at near capacity at 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. My SO and I had been looking forward to Texas Roadhouse's opening. She had been to the Portsmouth location but this was my first experience. Even at 4:30 on a Tuesday there was a short wait (which we expected since they just opened.) But within 20 minutes or so we were shown to our table which had some warm rolls waiting with soft cinnamon butter. Absolutely wonderful! Within a short time a very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable young waitress arrived to take our order. I ordered a rib eye while my SO opted for steak tips. Ambiance was cozy and comfortable, though perhaps a bit noisy. Prices, while not cheap, I felt were comparable to other quality steakhouses in the area. Our meals arrived promptly, hot, fresh, and just as ordered. A manager came by our table to be sure all was satisfactory. A nice touch. I think her name was Holly. Not really a good start. Went Sunday before the dinner rush. Waited double the quoted wait time for a table. Ordered a margarita and waited close to 30 minutes while I waited with no drink at all. The rest of my party had soda and it seemed like it was a problem when I asked for straws. And later when extra napkins were asked for. My "smothered " steak was swimming in oil. Visited the new Texas Roadhouse in Concord NH last night. For starters, the place was absolutely mobbed. Which is expected for any new establishment. The disturbing part was families with children waiting to be seated but the staff has to dance before that can happen I guess? I could understand that being done ANY other time. Maybe not during the opening week with a lobby full of people/kids. Once we were finally seated (we checked in through the app and still waited), we then waited for a waitress. Once she finally arrived she was really nice from what I could tell. We couldn't hear much of what she was saying since it was so loud in there, but she was nice. Her name is Alexis. Anyway, we ordered 3 kids meals with an extra side of Mac n cheese, a chicken Cesar salad and country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fries. I added a blooming onion too. A completely different waitress brought out our food which contained my salad, 2 kids meals and half of my husbands fried chicken order. They forgot my other sons hotdog with fries and the side of Mac n cheese and also my husbands side of fries. She said she'd be back. Still didn't see our waitress for awhile even though we had empty cups on the edge of the table. The other random waitress came back with the hotdog on a bun pictured below and the side of Mac n cheese. Not my husband's fries. We never got those and figured why bother at this point. He ate some of the kids fries lol. Now back to the hotdog, it was frozen in the middle and I don't think it had touched any heat whatsoever before arriving to my 4 year old. You can clearly tell it's not cooked. It's a raw hotdog for a kid. I told the waitresses behind us about it because we were seated right by where they ring up their items. I guess one of them didn't like my husband saying it's frozen cause she spoke up saying "you can stop now it's being taken care of". Just seemed a little rude considering they gave my child raw food.. "taken care of" is an understatement. It truly shouldn't have left the kitchen like that. We received a new hotdog for him so he was able to eat thankfully but the raw hotdog just sat in front of us the entire time lol No one offered to take it, no one checked to see that it was actually cold. It was just weird. All she said was she was so sorry about that. We were hoping maybe we'd be offered dessert or maybe just taken money off the kids meal but nah lol We weren't offered anything by anyone, we never even got a manager to ask how everything was. Not a great first impression at all. I was so looking forward to one in the area and now I'm just scared to go back. I posted our receipt to show we weren't offered any discounts or anything and that we still tipped. I took my mom out for her birthday, we had a total of 5 guests. The waitress behaved as if she were angry we were there from the moment we sat down, after we ordered she didn't get far from the table before letting out an annoyed "Jesus Christ" which we ALL heard. We a ordered normal things, it wasn't like we asked for anything out of the ordinary. I loved the restaurant in Manchester which is why I was pumped when the Concord location opened but the experience here was negative and I won't be spending $200+ to be treated badly. Usually Texas Roadhouse is pretty good but tonight we were being served by Alex and the service was god awful but also the food was terrible as well. My steak was served still living after I asked for mid rare. Place was hopping so server was busy. We went to the Concord location on Mothers Days. Our server was fantastic. The food was ok. I ordered a cheeseburger medium well, it arrived rare. It was taken back and fixed but ended up taking it home as it arrived well after the rest of the table was done eating. The lady that brought it out to me was a bit rude. It was extremely loud and to the point that we could not have a conversation due to the noise level. I brushed it all off thinking it was due to how busy it was. We went back for lunch yesterday (a Sunday afternoon). We asked if we could just sit in the bar area. I did not realize they meant only at the bar and sat at a table as they were all open. The same lady that brought me the burger from the first visit was extremely rude about it. Her tone was not and words were not necessary it was just a misunderstanding. We order and once again they couldn't make a cheeseburger. My husband ordered medium well and got rare. They took it back and the rude lady informed us they would just be taking it apart and putting it back on the grill and not remaking it. As it turns out they did attempt to remake it and it was still rare. Once again she was rude about it. I finally had enough and gave attitude back. I ordered the smothered chicken. Unfortunately what I got was a piece of bare chicken. They forgot to smother it. The rude one acted as if it was my fault and offered to bring me some cheese on a plate. We asked that salad be served with meal, it came 10 minutes before. Granddaughters kids burgers burnt hockey pucks, mashed potatoes in a scalding bowl but ice cold in center....rack of ribs, drier than desert sand, my chicken mushroom burger was no better. First off, the actual wait time exceeded the quoted wait time (40 mins) by about 10 mins. Once we got seated, while the server was friendly enough, however was not very thorough and kept forgetting things such as lemon in the water. Above all this, the music in there was way too loud and actually gave my wife a headache. The food wasn't as good either (compared to Longhorns or Applebees). The Salmon I ordered was dry and overcooked. Needless to say, this was the first and last time we will be going there.
