Working with Miguel at TEC was a pleasure. He was fast to respond to my inquiry, met with me for a quote, and had a team out to complete my job within a few days. He was polite and professional. His quote was very competitive and reasonable, and his crew was courteous, plus they cleaned up well after all the work. For the job, I had a few outlets moved and re-ran copper wire through a tiny attic to replace old aluminum wiring that was unsafe. Miguel fixed some on the aluminum wiring himself while he was assessing the work for quote because he felt it was not safe to leave it. He wouldn't take any payment for this quick fix work and I hadn't even agreed to hire his company at that point. This company exceeded my expectations and I will be using them again for future work. read more

Great work! Installed eight recessed fixtures for me. Was especially nice to have the work quoted before he came out, so I knew exactly what to expect. read more

All these 5-star reviews are LEGIT! Fernando was the friendliest technician I've had in my home in the past 20 years. He was incredibly professional and completed the project successfully at half the price I was quoted by other electicians. Texas Electrical Connect are my new go-to electricians. read more

Quickly and efficiently solved our issue. It was a pleasant experience. Appointment was set up easily

We got a same day appointment. Montes fixed the issue. He stayed until I was satisfied with the work. The price was slightly more than others quoted, but I felt it was worth the premium. FYI there is a 3% charge if you use credit. read more

Miguel and his team are highly professional! We plan to use them for all future electrical needs.

Best electrician experience I've ever had. Miguel responded to my messages within minutes, and Fernando was fantastic--knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and did an awesome job. I'll be using these guys for all my future projects. read more

Wanted to get several recessed/downlights installed in livingroom, along with a new switch. Has gotten several quotes and TEC while not the cheapest, was still cheaper than majority. Miguel was able to get me scheduled for a time that same week. Miguel was impressive for responsiveness both before and after the job. Him and his crew came right on time, got the whole job done in a single day. And it looks fantastic!! He went above and beyond and I would certainly recommend doing business with TEC. read more

Appointment was setup easily and technician came out the next day. Diagnostic was performed on site and repair work performed right away, and was effeciant and costs were appropriate. Will continue to use them and glad I have found them. Estimates were also given for an upcoming project and will absolutly use them in the future. read more

I had multiple issues when Fernando came out. He was extremely polite and professional. He replaced a couple breakers. Checked my 220 car charging outlet and inspected outlets in the kitchen while helping me search for a hidden GFCI that tripped in my garage. I don't usually call for help but when I do I really need it. They were out same day after I researched companies here on Yelp. The reviews are spot on and here is mine to go with everyone else. Thank you Texas Electrical and Fernando! read more

Very satisfied with their timeliness and great work. Installed our dimmer switches and plan use them again. Highly recommend!

They fixed our electrical issue and thoroughly explained our options. They were responsive and fast too. Would recommend!

My wife and I have had Fernando here to address two different electrical issues. He was attentive, professional, thorough, and did excellent work. Plus he was very polite and pleasant, which my wife really appreciated. The prices were very reasonable, as well. When we have future electrical work we need done, we will surely turn to Texas Electrical Connect again. read more

Definitely recommend Miguel and his team for any electrical services! They were quick on the follow up quote and scheduling and communicated very well throughout the entire process. I immediately noticed their different approach explaining the issue they identified before proceeding with the work as I've had very different experience with other electrical contractors in the past. I'm sure customers would appreciate this as well, especially if they are not savvy with electrical work. The job was done quickly and all is working well. A+ in my book, thanks Miguel and Fernando! read more

I called on a Friday and was told someone would call me Monday or Tuesday and I never received a call and it is Thursday. I suppose I will call someone else disappointed. Thank you for the return call. God bless. read more

Texas Electrical Connect installed an electrical socket for me in the owner's bathroom. They did a clean and efficient job, and I am super happy with the result. The team was also very respectful and polite. I highly recommend this company to service your electrical needs. They will be coming back to install ceiling fans and lights next! read more

I needed to have a Briggs and Stratton 26KW standby generator installed, here in Texas. We experienced a 3 day long power outage during the ice storm. Not going through that again. So I ordered the Power Protect 26KW generator, two Symphony II automatic transfer switches, generator pad and starting battery. Then began the long process of finding an electrician to install. After receiving several quotes I elected to go with Miguel at Texas Electrical Connect. He was the most responsive and courteous of all those contacted. It was a huge job that at times add up to 5 people on site. The crew was amazing to watch. Showed up on time, hard working and left the work area as clean as they found it. It took about 2.5 days to complete the electrical but in the end they did an awesome job. Once we have the plumber connect the gas line this week the job should be complete. They come highly recommended! Thank you Miguel!! read more

I placed my request after hours on a Thursday night and got a quick response. An electrician was at my doorstep at 8:00am the next morning. Can't do better than that. Will definitely reach out to these guys again. The electrician was very nice and extremely professional. My problem was resolved quickly and the cost was more than reasonable. read more

These guys were great! I submitted a request for a quote, which included a description of my issue and a number of photos. Miguel and Texas Electrical Connect quickly determined the issue, provided a price quote, came out to the house the very next morning, and fixed the issue within the quoted price! I really value responsiveness and efficiency, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. I will definitely put them at the top of my list when I need electrical work in the future. read more

I hired TEC to install two sconces in my living room. Fernando was on time, polite, neat, and very patient with me asking him the same questions multiple times. When the job wasn't as straightforward as initially expected, I received clearly-explained options and a reasonable and prompt update to the quote. I received multiple bids for this job and I'm very glad I went with TEC. read more

Last month we hired Texas Electrical Connect to replace our electrical service panel and to bring everything up to current code. Miguel and his crew quoted us a reasonable price, well below the highest quote another company gave us. They did the work as we requested, but the circuit breaker labelling was not what I expected. The company sent Fernando out to complete the labelling, and this time everything looked great. One real surprise was that as part of the bid, we were charged a permit fee. It turns out that due to PEC being our service provider, we did not need a City of Austin permit - so Miguel refunded the permit fee without being asked! That says loads of positive things to me when a company does the right thing for their customers. If I need electrical work done in the future, or if friends ask me for a recommendation, Texas Electrical Connect will be my go-to company. read more

Miguel and Fernando wired up and installed a new wall sconce on our front porch as well as a new outlet in our garage in mid-July (sorry for the late review!). They did a great job on the installations, were super professional, and cleaned up after they completed the work. Everything is still working great and my wife and I are very happy with the work. Miguel was very courteous to share tips and knowledge when I had questions for him. He was also very prompt throughout the whole process (from responding to our inquiry on yelp with questions and an estimate to scheduling the work and getting the job done). I would highly recommend Texas Electrical Connect to anyone looking to get some work done! read more

Prompt, communicates well. Used for several projects in our condo. They handled our difficult tenant very well. They aren't the cheapest quote, but they charge fairly (ie they never tried to gouge us, even when we were on a tighter deadline). Nothing to complain about and will continue to use them. read more

Several days after a new granite kitchen counter top was installed I discovered that the carve out for the electrical outlet in the splash guard was not configured properly. Consequently I was not able to install the outlet. So I reviewed electricians on Yelp and found Texas Electrical Connect that had great reviews. I messaged them requesting an electrician and in only two hours Miguel was at my house and in about half an hour had the outlet working. I am very appreciative of the great service rendered by Texas Electrical Connect and, of course, I highly recommend them. read more

Texas Electrical Connect - Electricians Near Me

I can't speak highly enough about these guys. Extremely professional and thorough, and don't quit until the job is done. I had two other people look at an electrical issue I was having... one company who is rated extremely highly here who suggested I just replace an entire circuit of switches and plugs. Turns out that wouldn't have even solved the issue! I am so relieved these guys came out and worked diligently until they solved it. They are clean and pick up every little piece of wire and metal after themselves and extremely thorough about answering any questions you have regarding the work. I'd give ten stars if I could. read more

Really excellent work. My service pole was ripped from my house in the ice storm. They came right out and did the job for a fair rate while others tried to gouge. They were friendly too. Highly recommended. read more

Superior in all aspects from first contact about the issue, to scheduling, to job completion, to the bill. Fernando diagnosed and fixed a tricky wiring issue in a new construction East Austin condo. My daughter described the issue (bathroom fuse kept blowing) to me over the phone. The problem went away, came back . . . I considered calling a handy man- I'm glad I didn't. In fact, when I Yelped "handyman" one of the responders said "you need an electrician." I really appreciated Miguel getting someone fast, who knew their stuff at a very reasonable price. When I got the bill, I was so relieved. I was expecting much higher. I hope I don't need them again, but wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them. read more

Miguel was fast to respond with a reasonable quote for installing an EV charger and adding a 50A breaker to my electrical panel. Due to rain we had to reschedule but communication was great through the entire process. A Mr. Fernando came to my place on a Saturday, and even though showed up slightly later then scheduled, he had come from a previous install and got straight to the work. He was self sufficient and communicated only when he had questions about my install preferences. He was very polite and worked diligently until the project was finished. I'm very pleased with the finished product and would definitely recommend him and the team for similar projects. Cheers! read more

Miguel did a great job getting out here and getting his estimate to me in not just timely manner but with certainty he could do the job while others "hmm'd" and "haw'd" about whether they could get their hands on what they needed. Miguel had no doubts and had a plan to get my electricity properly set up so next time ercot or coa fails texans, I KNOW Miguel and Texas Electrical Connect have served our community professionally, in a timely manner and HONORED their commitment to excellence! I'd recommend them any day! read more
