Chris and Mason came to the door and spent a couple hours figuring out the problem that had stumped that other electrician. My house is old and some things done by previous owners were problematic like having that circuit powered by two breakers. They fixed that problem, fixed the outlets and installed a new breaker. They were very pleasant to deal with and they even brought treats for my dog. Will definitely call them going forward for all my electrical needs. Five stars!

I hired Max Electrical Services to install an outdoor outlet on my back patio to power some string…read morelights, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. My electrician took the time to walk through where exactly I wanted it placed and talked through the best way to run the wiring to minimize visibility. Really appreciated that he made sure I was comfortable with the plan before getting started. The work itself was clean and professional, and the outlet works perfectly. What really impressed me was how helpful he was beyond just the electrical work. While he was here, my patio door handle completely broke off (totally unrelated to his work--someone else in my house broke it). He gave me some informal advice about what replacement part I'd need. Then when he had to run to the home improvement store to grab something for the outlet installation, he offered to pick up the door handle for me too. That kind of thoughtfulness and going the extra mile was great to see and highly appreciated since I had a busy day dealing with kids before a trip. I'd absolutely hire this company again and recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

His pricing was fair compared to other estimates I received, and he was accommodating when we requested adjustments after installation due to clearance concerns around the water heater. The quality of the work was appropriate for the type of project. This is a utility closet rather than a visible living space, so I wasn't looking for high-end finish carpentry. The shelving is sturdy and functional, which was the primary goal. There were a few minor points worth noting. The shelves themselves were built from plywood while the framing was pine. This wasn't a major issue, but the exposed plywood edges remain somewhat rough despite being sanded. Additionally, when modifications were needed after installation, the shelf was cut in place with a jigsaw rather than being removed and recut, which left a less polished finish but it is not visible. Regarding pricing, the original quote included a first-time customer discount and staining. After deciding not to stain the shelves, the price remained unchanged. However, given that his overall quote was still significantly lower than many others I received, I felt the pricing remained fair and reasonable. Overall, I definately would hire again for practical, functional projects where value, responsiveness, and getting the job done are more important than fine-finish craftsmanship.

Luis got out there ASAP to assess the situation and offered to help fix the disconnect and ensure that everything was turned back on safely once the replacement AC unit was installed (which happened today). What makes Luis's support and service stand out a bit more is that once he found out that our AC company repaired the disconnect and made sure everything was fully operational (he spoke with the technician over the phone), Luis called and said that he didn't need to come out (which means he didn't have to charge us $$$ again). Honesty and integrity - super valuable in this world. I won't hesitate to call L&R for support in the future!

I especially appreciate that he sends photos and explanations in messages so I can go back and refer to them later if I need a reminder about the issue. He was incredibly patient, even taking time to explain things again over the phone. He also goes above and beyond by checking other basic issues around the house and gave helpful advise.
