    I am a happy & satisfied customer. from the initial call to the completion of the job I was impressed. they were thorough on the follow up and fulfilled the appointment quickly. my electrician was J.D. and he was professional, skilled, confident and friendly performing the work. I had Knight out to replace batteries in the system two months ago and they charged me over $400 to replace the 12 volt batteries. When the batteries started to fail after 30 days I called Knight to come back out. When they returned, Knight spent about 5 minutes looking at the system and then informed me that the panel needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,100.00. No other work was performed. Today I received a bill from Knight for $202.98 for coming over and telling me I need a new panel. They should have tested the panel the first time they came out. Having been a loyal customer for 15 years, I decided that I was tired of being held up by Knight's ridiculously high charges. So instead of replacing a panel as suggested by Knight, I am changing over to an entirely new security systems that comes highly recommended by my neighbors and the police department. After talking to several of my neighbors, I realized that everyone except me knew Knight Security was much higher than other quality service providers. a mistake I won't make again! Needless to say, I would NOT recommend Knight Security!

This review is not about Vivint as a whole--it is specifically about the unacceptable conduct of one customer service agent: Megan. Megan attempted to assist me but was unable to resolve my issue. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she placed me on hold for 15 minutes without a single update. It became clear she had no intention of returning to the call, and she simply waited me out until I hung up. That is not customer service--that is avoidance. When I called back, Joy/Julie answered and resolved my issue quickly and professionally. I then spoke with Vanessa, a supervisor, to express both my appreciation for Joy/Julie and my serious concerns about Megan's behavior. Megan demonstrated a lack of professionalism, urgency, and basic courtesy. She either needs significant retraining or may not be suited for a customer‑facing role at all. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect--exactly the way any of us would expect to be treated.

We used this company for over 12 years. Not because we wanted to but because we were hog tied into a contract for 7 of those years. The rest of the years were due to the fact that a tenant at the property required an alarm and this one was already installed so .. here we are. The tenant recently notified us that they will not be renewing the lease so, now we are free to cancel this service. My process for canceling the service took nearly an hour, included multiple employees, multiple hang ups and chat "disappearances". When I was finally able to get to an employee who would stop offering "offers" and finally allow us to cancel .. it turns out you don't even need to contact them via phone. Simply send an email to DOCUMENTS@VIVINT.COM. In the body of the email reference 1) your account number, 2) the service address and 3) the reason for cancellation. This will trigger a 30 day cancelation process. Now, to be fair, we are only day 1 into this process so, I fully expect more problems before we are released from this albatross of a company. Read the reviews. This company is a problem.

I wanted some hard wired security cameras since WiFi seems to always be spotty these days. They not only gave me great quality cameras that I can view from my TV, I can also view them remotely from my phone. This company also installed a really cool alarm panel that displays my photos when not in use, a keyless entry lock on my front door, and I can remotely open and close my garage door.. I'm gonna ask them back soon for the carbon monoxide detector since we have a fire place, hopefully a sensor on my driveway to tell me when someone passes it, and connect my monitoring system to my irrigation system and my outdoor lights to make them remote as well. So impressed by what this company and its owner can do and how professional they are on the phone and on the job!!

I like the fact that they are a relatively small local company, because that means that customers get excellent personal attention to their individual situations. I also like the fact that, unlike many of the large national security companies, you are not presented with and required to sign one of those long contacts with often deceptive small print. The people at Technick are straight-shooters. I trust them with the security of my home, and I cannot recommend them too highly.

We swapped out our existing chrome faucets for gold hardware, and the difference is night and day. The previous faucets had a very sleek, almost Star Trek-ish look (a fun nod to my hubby, who is a serious sci‑fi fan), but they no longer fit the direction the bathroom was taking. Once the rest of the space came together, it was clear the chrome felt out of place. The new gold faucets align beautifully with the overall design and add warmth and elegance to the room. They tie everything together in a way the chrome simply couldn't. What felt like a small change ended up making a big visual impact, elevating the finished space and giving it a more cohesive, intentional look. If you're on the fence about switching hardware finishes, this is proof that even after the "big" remodel work is done, thoughtful finishing touches can truly transform the final result. What took so long was figuring out and getting the correct part from Whirlpool/KitchenAid. Try-Supply has been nothing but apologetic about our experience. So much so and they've tried so hard that they would again be our first for buying new appliances. I don't know what went wrong before, but their recovery has been great. Thank you for caring and getting it done!
