First, I can't overemphasize how clean the work they did was given the rate at which they did it. Miguel and his team make their finished work look like it has always been there - not like a repair or an upgrade. I can guarantee you it's going to look sharp. I was also impressed with Miguel's prompt and customer-service-oriented communication skill, and his initial strategy for getting the job done. Further, Miguel's crew was almost deferentially polite, courteous, and friendly but with solid professional boundaries. It's hard to find that level of professionalism anymore, especially in a newer, growing company. But perhaps most importantly, I was impressed with the flexibility and agile manner in which the job was completed. There were some unexpected speed bumps we ran into with my older house, and the proposed solutions were quickly addressed and the plan adjusted with minimal downtime. We did have to work on the timing a bit, but, having seen some of the problems a big electrical rework can require, you have to, as a smart customer, be able to work with a small crew on timing if something becomes complicated. Miguel worked with me in lock-step to adjust his schedule to mine and make sure the scope of work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. These guys do excellent work, have excellent customer service, are trustworthy and knowledgeable. I will be recommending them to my friends and family and hiring them out again. His quote was very competitive and reasonable, and his crew was courteous, plus they cleaned up well after all the work. For the job, I had a few outlets moved and re-ran copper wire through a tiny attic to replace old aluminum wiring that was unsafe. Miguel fixed some on the aluminum wiring himself while he was assessing the work for quote because he felt it was not safe to leave it. I needed to have a Briggs and Stratton 26KW standby generator installed, here in Texas. We experienced a 3 day long power outage during the ice storm. Not going through that again. So I ordered the Power Protect 26KW generator, two Symphony II automatic transfer switches, generator pad and starting battery. Then began the long process of finding an electrician to install. After receiving several quotes I elected to go with Miguel at Texas Electrical Connect. He was the most responsive and courteous of all those contacted. It was a huge job that at times add up to 5 people on site. The crew was amazing to watch. Showed up on time, hard working and left the work area as clean as they found it. It took about 2.5 days to complete the electrical but in the end they did an awesome job. Once we have the plumber connect the gas line this week the job should be complete. Last month we hired Texas Electrical Connect to replace our electrical service panel and to bring everything up to current code. Miguel and his crew quoted us a reasonable price, well below the highest quote another company gave us. They did the work as we requested, but the circuit breaker labelling was not what I expected. The company sent Fernando out to complete the labelling, and this time everything looked great. One real surprise was that as part of the bid, we were charged a permit fee. It turns out that due to PEC being our service provider, we did not need a City of Austin permit - so Miguel refunded the permit fee without being asked! That says loads of positive things to me when a company does the right thing for their customers.
