We came in as a party of 11 on a Sunday (we had a reservation). It was cold outside so it was nice that they unlocked the doors a little early so people could wait inside. We were seated very quickly and Roberto was our main server. He was very attentive and kept drinks filled to the top, periodically checked in to ask if we wanted other meats to come by, and was overall a very pleasant person. We are an outgoing and talkative bunch and he chatted with is at different moments during our meal. 100/10 service! The food was delicious. I always love when they have the ribs. We took the opportunity to try a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. It is obviously a well liked restaurant and very busy. They turn tables very quickly. We made a reservation and were seated within 5 min of arrival. It was very loud in the restaurant, which limits conversations which is not what we were looking for for our anniversary. Our server was okay, but not very personable. The meat servers were great- they came one after the other offering different cuts of meats- they were not consistent with giving meat to temp choice, but since it is all you can eat, you can try the next round that comes around. The salad bar is okay- very lacking in options. We have been to another non-chain Brazilian steak house in the DFW area and their salad bar was way better, with lots of options to include many seafoods. We did splurge and shared a dessert for our anniversary, the Key Lime pie was incredible. Over all, it was okay- but for the price I expected a little more. read more

We had a reservation for a birthday, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The table we were seated at was very close to the wall and mirror, making it uncomfortable. We politely asked to move to the table right next to us, but were told it was "reserved." That table remained empty the entire time we were dining, which was frustrating. They seated us in another table kinda the same so we just sat ! Our server's attention was lacking. I would rate the service 2 out of 10, as she seemed more focused on setting up the table next to us than taking care of our needs. Meat Servers 10 out of 10 I love them I seen a few new faces. I ordered Texas de Brazil for Thanksgiving and it was pretty disappointing. I get that delivery won't ever be as good as eating in the restaurant, but for $82 I expected a lot more. I received two lamb chops and three pieces of picanha and everything was cold. The meat was also way overcooked even though I asked for medium rare. The driver told me he waited at the restaurant for about 15 minutes so this wasn't on him. It seemed like my food was just sitting there for a while before they handed it off. I've been to this location before and it was at least decent, but this delivery really fell flat. For the price I paid it just wasn't worth it. This place is packed on the weekend. We were able to make a last minute reservation for 4:45pm, which was an early dinner for us. There's a paid private parking lot right next to the restaurant that will require less than a 1 minute walk. Their salad bar has tomatoes, cold shrimp, quinoa, asparagus, etc. They also have warm rice and lobster soup. I wish they had fruits because I couldn't find that anywhere. The meat was delicious. However, there was a lot of waiting around. When the meat was ready during the second rotation, a lot of it was what we had already tried. It's pretty loud in the restaurant, especially since we were sitting by the bar. I had the green card up, and said "I'll take one," in which the server misunderstood me as implying I'm good for now. Pro tip; just go with your standard yes (head nod) or no (head shake). Service was excellent. Our server stopped by with fresh pepper. Drinks were refilled accordingly. I love that they tailored some food for my son: French fries, mash potatoes, and fried bananas. He also liked his animal themed water cup. FYI: the restroom is located upstairs. I never knew they had an elevator. I guess taking the stairs gives you a nice view of the restaurant and a great opportunity to get your steps in. My daughter and I come here every Mother's Day. My daughter is seven years old and she only eats chocolate cake. I eat the salad bar. My bill was $88 and they had charged me for a half-price salad bar for her. When I confronted the server about it, she said it was because she saw her go down to the salad bar with me. I told her that she is seven years old, therefore, I cannot leave her upstairs by herself and that if she was our server, obviously she witnessed that my child does not eat salad, unfortunately. She just was there for the chocolate cake. I look at my bank account and they withdrew the bill of $88 and then they credited the bill back of $88.75. And then withdrew the $88.75 out again. So they still charge her for a salad bar that she did not eat. Highly disappointed in the service and this place in General. read more

Awful experience tonight at Texas de Brazil. Our waiter, Michael, forgot about us for like 30 minutes after we were done eating. We told a manager we want our check after like 15 mins of waiting and they did nothing. It took a waitress, who I didn't catch the name of, to come to us to say is everything okay? After seeing frustration on our faces. About 10 minutes later she asked if a manager stopped by to talk to us yet, and they hadn't. After 10-15 more minutes, the sweet waitress that was trying to help us came and started cleaning off our table when Michael showed back up with happy anniversary written on a plate with candles and made a horrible joke about "hopefully you're not wishing for a full refund. That won't come true." and then handed the dirty dishes to the sweet waitress instead of taking care of it himself... with his table. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the service could not have been worse. Michael needs training or to find a new career. read more

And the French fries and little side they brought out was really pathetic. We showed up at 8:25 and you could barely get to the door because of how many people were standing around waiting. We waited just outside of the door for 10 minutes because the room was so full. We finally got in and waited another 15 minutes to watch the couple at the counter finally get told to step aside and wait like everyone else. We just left and ate somewhere else. I totally understand being slammed but it seems like they were giving out reservations they couldn't accommodate. Waiting sometimes 5 min or more for meat to come to you. Let waitress know and one of the started paying attention. The red meats and lamb were delicious. Chickens and sausage was not that good. Salad bar was good. Wife and I both said next time we go back there it be for salad bar. Wasn't worth 215 dollars after tip (180 before) for all that waiting for a guy to come by with meats. Sunday dinner, we made reservations on open table a few days prior. Quick, simple, & easy... I also like that they had any special requests on our ticket, very efficient. We had a 4:45pm reservation, arrived a little early & we were able to get seated early. The salad bar & hot sides, I'd go here just for that. Aside from the salad options the smoked salmon, asparagus, & artichokes were my top picks from the salad bar. Next to it they have a few hot sides such as soup, rice, etc. The potatoes au gratin were probably my favorite item of dinner overall, but beware it's VERY rich. Lobster bisque is good, but a little thin. Additional sides brought to your table are mashed potatoes (smooth & creamy!), fried plantains, cheesebread (yes!), & fries. Be careful, you will fill up on sides faster than you realize. I don't have to explain a Brazilian steakhouse (if you don't know, you can gather the concept by reading other reviews), so let's get to the meat. Picanha - good Sausage - delicious, juicy Bacon wrapped chicken - the chicken actually seemed a bit dry Top Sirloin - another good choice Lamb Chop - glad they offer this but it was just okay Flank Steak - this was perfect Many other options as well, it's hard to get to try them all, lol. Good luck if you do! Service was a 4.5 out of 5. We had to ask for knives (they forgot), but things happen. Drink refills were a little slow at the beginning. Don't get me wrong though, the staff is incredibly polite. The rest of the meal was fine, we actually got checked on quite a bit afterwards. It's a popular place, the waiting area is extremely small. It can get cramped with how busy they are. The tables are close together, I found myself waiting until part of my group would get up as to not disturb their meal or I found myself going around open spaces as to not disturb or bump into other diners. You are back to back with other diners when you are sitting. When leaving you could also feel how crowded it was as you try to maneuver to the exit - pushing your way through the crowds of the salad bar & the people in the waiting area. It is nice they have paid parking towards the back of their building, but know the parking spots are also very tight. Experience was good, not great. Texas de Brazil is one of our favorite spots. We've eaten at this location easily 15+ times. It's your typical Brazilian steakhouse, with non-stop fire-grilled meat constantly coming to your table. Here's a quick rundown for this specific location: Pros: The Meats - the selection is always good, always fresh and always well cooked. If you want a specific cut they're quick to get it to your table. The Salad Bar - this specific location has one of the best churrascaria salad bars I've ever seen. Tons of selections and always fresh and full. The Location - It's right in the mix of all the action in Downtown Ft. Worth & Sundance Square. The Waitlist - They work had to get you a table even if you don't have a reservation. We've never been completely turned away. Cons: The service can be hit or miss. Don't get me wrong...they're always friendly and kind. But for a restaurant of this style and in this higher price range the service can sometimes be slow and spotty, especially when busy. Overall, we like this place a lot. Obviously we keep going back. If you like meat & don't mind the hangover of a meat coma, then this is your spot. read more

We had reservations and we were warmly greeted upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter David was absolutely incredible. He made the entire evening an utter delight. We were inundated with meat. The servers came by every 4 or 5 minutes and were kind enough to ask even if our cards were on red. Every bite of food was sensational. I honestly don't know if I've ever seen my kids eat so much. The place is packed but there is plenty of room between tables and the volume is fairly loud so I don't know that I'd call it intimate. The sirloin we got was so grissely you couldn't cut it with a knife . Then we got another cut of sirloin that was so tender it would melt in your mouth but the downside to that was not flavor . Actually none of the meat had flavor . They use to acknowledge your birthdays and anniversary but not no more. We went on Valentine's Day and I know it's going to be a busy day for any business but this point was the worst I honestly could have went to Texas Roadhouse and had a way better service. My main issue was that we only had three meats come to our table out of all of the meat options they offered. I seen multiple guys with meat just past our table and only one came back twice to ask if we wanted that meat again. The waiter was non existent we seen him when we first got there and probably only seen him twice after the whole hour of us just sitting and waiting for meat to come to our table. We even made a complaint to him that we haven't been offered any meat and he said he would make sure but nothing new ever came. While we still tipped him over 20% of our total his service was horrible so horrible I can't even tell you what his name was. I know Valentine's Day is a busy day but with how much I spent in total I expected wayyyyyy better service and it honestly ruined me and my husband's dinner night. I honestly felt like they ignored our table because of the color of our skin as I seen them stop at every table around ours but never stopped at ours. We literally only eat the salad bar then whole entire night. My only complaints would be the closeness of the tables which made backing out of your chair a bit difficult and the servers to move around. We reserved a table for our 8th anniversary and they did not disappoint! I had been to this location on three different occasions in the past, but never with my fiancé. As always, the food was AMAZING, service was perfect, and the drinks were on point. I will say that trying to jump in the circle line around the salad bar can be a bit tough at times, but it clears off and on to allow a visit. Reservation made for Fridays lunch dining. Took a first timer, which unfortunately the service did not match the bragging we did prior to dining in. requested 3 desserts (2 at the table, 1 to go) 1 order was perfectly made. The other two were overcooked. Brought this to the attention of our waitress whom seemed irritated with us voicing our issue with the manner in which our dessert was served. She spoke with someone, he came over. Said "I'll take care of it" and walked away. He returned minutes later with new slices of dessert and walked away. For the past 3 years, a friend and I have celebrated my birthday at Texas de Brazil. Last year, I also enjoyed an early Christmas lunch here. However, last night's meal was the worst that I've had. My 2 favorite salad bar dishes tabbouleh and the jalapeño shrimp were bland and distasteful. Thankfully, the meat was fine however the lamb chops weren't as succulent as times past. 2 managers and our server asked about our meals and im not sure of the purpose because nothing was addressed or followed up on. My friend asked our server about a complementary birthday dessert and was told, " LOL! It's not complimentary." They come to you so fast that you stuff yourself and don't have time to actually taste the food. So you'd imagine it would be part of the deal but no, we spent almost $30 in deserts without even knowing or being informed. Texas de Brazil is an all you can eat meat experience in Downtown Fort Worth. I don't eat meat, but this was my son's birthday choice, so we went. I had a salad bar only, which was fine but not worth the price, in my opinion. I feel that they should have had many many more vegetable options. The sides (also included with the salad bar) also need more veggie options. Even the scallop potatoes and black beans had animal proteins in them, leaving me only white rice and plain mashed potatoes to eat from the hot bar. However, my son and daughters said the meats were fantastic and they loved it. The server and management were very very nice and as accommodating as possible (with a shellfish allergy, a grape allergy, and my vegetarians diet). I don't recommend this place for a vegetarian, however the restaurant is excellent by all other's accounts. Haven't been in a few years but went to a birthday dinner last weekend and it was TERRIBLE! They have packed so many tables and chairs into each room, right up to the bar seating that there was no room to walk. They even had someone sitting at a table 3 ft from the front door. It was insane to see and the couple looked miserable! After being seated, it took 30 mins to receive our drinks. We finally got up to the salad bar which was good, just as years before, probably the only thing positive about our meal. Our waiter never came back and we ended up getting our meats on our salad plate. 30 mins later we finally got our sides for the table. We never got any tenderloin and their specialty steak only arrived one time to the table. They kept trying to serve is sausage, chicken and lamb which is pretty much their cheap filler meats. We requested the tenderloin and picanha multiple times but never got any. It took our waiter 2 times to get my bill correct and 4 times with the other couple we were with. I had a gift card and had to wait for the "manager" to arrive and when he did he grabbed my bill and was gone in a flash. Didn't care to ask how our meal was or anything. We waited in the front for a hostess for at least 5 minutes before she ever arrived. When she did there was a lobby full of people (this was a Monday and we didn't have a reservation) so we waited 30 minutes for a table. There is no seating in the lobby area and with it being Texas summer everyone was wanting to stand inside so it was getting very hot and crowded. Imagine an elevator full of ppl for 30 minutes... it felt alot like that. The wait: In the lobby area there is a consistent alarm sound going off coming from the fire alarm system. This makes me believe their fire system is outdated or needs to be serviced but we sat and listened to it for 30 minutes. The Food: The salad bar has a good variety. The Cesar dressing is so delicious. The hot appetizer options are good too (the lobster bisque, yummmmm.) all the cuts of meat were cooked perfectly, and the gauchos were timed perfectly being sure they rotated meats and came to our little corner. The Ambiance: Okay EW. This is where we draw the line. We won't go back because this was the worst of it... we sat downstairs in the back right corner and the ceiling literally had mold - both white AND black mold - all over it. It's really unsanitary and I'm 100% confident the health department has no idea. (See photo for proof.) I later learned the bathroom is located immediately above this area which confirmed that this is mold caused by trapped moisture in the ceiling. Gross. read more

Took my older parents to Texas de Brazil recently as they'd never experienced a Brazilian steakhouse. We all had a great time, totally filled ourselves up with salad bar and meat overload, and thought the food was excellent. The leg of lamb was something different that we don't get often. The picana and other steak cuts were all delicious. Even the plantains were a hit. Our server was attentive and helpful--even though he was just a little difficult for my slightly hard-of-hearing dad to understand with his heavy accent. The restaurant environment was excellent, with fairly-priced parking pretty close by behind the building. We'll be back again for a special occasion. read more
