Picanha lamb chops scalloped potatoes
Jesse B.

I ordered Texas de Brazil for Thanksgiving and it was pretty disappointing. I get that delivery won't ever be as good as eating in the restaurant, but for $82 I expected a lot more. I received two lamb chops and three pieces of picanha and everything was cold. The meat was also way overcooked even though I asked for medium rare. The driver told me he waited at the restaurant for about 15 minutes so this wasn't on him. It seemed like my food was just sitting there for a while before they handed it off. I've been to this location before and it was at least decent, but this delivery really fell flat. For the price I paid it just wasn't worth it. Obviously I could have gone in and had a better price and enjoyed the ambiance but I was by myself on Thanksgiving.

The salad bar!

This place is packed on the weekend. We were able to make a last minute reservation for 4:45pm, which was an early dinner for us. There's a paid private parking lot right next to the restaurant that will require less than a 1 minute walk. Their salad bar has tomatoes, cold shrimp, quinoa, asparagus, etc. They also have warm rice and lobster soup. I wish they had fruits because I couldn't find that anywhere. The meat was delicious. However, there was a lot of waiting around. When the meat was ready during the second rotation, a lot of it was what we had already tried. It's pretty loud in the restaurant, especially since we were sitting by the bar. I had the green card up, and said "I'll take one," in which the server misunderstood me as implying I'm good for now. Pro tip; just go with your standard yes (head nod) or no (head shake). Service was excellent. Our server stopped by with fresh pepper. Drinks were refilled accordingly. I love that they tailored some food for my son: French fries, mash potatoes, and fried bananas. He also liked his animal themed water cup. FYI: the restroom is located upstairs. I never knew they had an elevator. I guess taking the stairs gives you a nice view of the restaurant and a great opportunity to get your steps in. Overall, it was a fun dining experience, and a chance to dress up. I highly recommend going with family/friends.

1st super expensive, but that ok if it's really good. Problem is, the meat wasn't that good. It was overcooked or tough. I just wasn't impressed. The salad bar is amazing, but not the "meat". And the French fries and little side they brought out was really pathetic. The server was nice, but the ambiance was crowded (people could barely pass between the tables, and I felt like I was sharing a table with the strangers next to me. Just not a good experience. We did have reservations, and the people who came in (after us) claiming they had a reservation, but couldn't prove anything, were seated before us. The manager was apparently in charge of the host's desk and was doing a TERRIBLE job. I don't think I'll ever convince myself to go back!

Ask the Community - Texas de Brazil - Fort Worth

For those dining upstairs, is there an elevator? We have large party booked and we told we would be upstairs but I have an elderly person and a couple of children in the party that I don't believe would be able to navigate the stairs as well.

They have an elevator :)

Is it reservation only?

No, walk-ins are available.

Is there a dress code? is this formal dining? business casual?

No dress code. I would say a nicer restaurant so dress casual/nice.

How i do reservations?

Go to restaurant online site

What is total cost with beverage and dessert?

Better bring 100 bill if you want dinner tax tip drinks and dessert...worth it though

Does the location accept several gift cards payment one time for a group of people? thanks…

Honestly I don't know. But I don't see why not

What's included for lunch and dinner? Will love to try but I would like to know what I'm paying for.

All you can eat meats and an amazing salad bar.

What is the per person cost?

$48.99 dinner

Hi does this restaurant have a corkage fee?

I have been calling for the last few days trying to make a reservation for a birthday dinner and no one is answering the phone. Is this place even open?

Yea you have to email them or go online for a reservation

How much is for 2?

Twelve.

I saw your ad for New Year's Day call-in orders. Y'all didn't answer the phones all day. Saw your ad for Super Bowl call-in orders. Now you're not answering the phone again. How exactly can we call-in if you don't answer?

Email. Their phones aren't working. There's more than one location that the adds are for.

I have been trying to make a reservation. Nobody is answering the phone and open table cannot handle a party of 7. Are you open? Can you help?…

Hi Nicole, thanks for reaching out and apologies you've been having trouble booking a reservation with us! I'd be happy to go ahead and help you schedule your reservation, what date and time were you looking to dine with us in Fort Worth?

I essentially lived at Wicked Butcher this week while staying at the Sinclair Hotel, eating here…read moretwice, and it absolutely delivered on every level. The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

We ordered the bone-in ribeye with wicked sauce (their own made version sauce of steak sauce, amazing!), pasta bolognese, potatoes, and the cauliflower. We tried the banana pudding for dessert. Made just right, and wasn't overly sweet. For drinks, we did the espresso martini and their version of the aperol spritz. The vibe and the ambience were dim, but not dark. Good for a night date night or dinner with good friends.

However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special. Note: this was lunch menu and I heard the burger here is good so many you can try that but I wouldn't recommend the steak at all.

It has that fantastic Fort Worth western vibe I was looking for--perfect for a professional get-together without the stiff shirt-and-tie atmosphere. The service and drinks were spot on. Cocktails hit the table fast and were well-made. For starters, we ordered the onion rings, which were easily the biggest I've ever seen and perfectly seasoned. The elk sausages over a polenta base were also delicious and a great start to the meal. When it came to the mains, I wanted something a little different than a standard sirloin. The server recommended the skirt steak topped with a cheese enchilada. I'm normally not a huge fan of cheese enchiladas, but this one changed my mind--it was authentic and awesome. The western beans served on the side were outstanding too. We finished the night with a great red wine and a solid apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran into some major consistency issues with the main course. Three people in our party of eight had to send their steaks back because they weren't cooked to the requested temperature--and one gentleman had to send his back more than once. To their credit, the front-of-house team handled it professionally; the server, manager, and even the chef came out to the table to apologize. While the service recovery was there, it definitely put a damper on the evening and felt like a strange occurrence for a Texas steakhouse of this caliber.
