It's been a while since I've been to a Texadelphia. Sadly, there's only one left in the Dallas area now and only a handful remaining overall. Hopefully it makes a comeback because it's still my favorite cheesesteak sandwich and that includes the $20 gourmet ones I've had in Philly. This location has sit-down service inside and on the covered patio plus a full bar and sports on televisions. I went on a Wednesday and they had a Wednesday lunch special including a regular cheesesteak sandwich, fries, and a drink for $9.99. I highly recommend the mustard blend sauce with your sandwich. I used to always get the tasty tortilla chips as a side but the fries were delicious. They are crispy, seasoned waffle fries. I saw they even offer sweet potato waffle fries. This recent visit has me craving Texadelphia again so I'll definitely be back! read more

Finally got the chance to stop by and try their food! Open seating. Service was great and fast. Food was delicious. Wish I came sooner. Can't wait to go back and try something different I had the Texican with extra cheese sauce on the side, the veggies were fresh. Waffle fries were seasoned just right. Quite possibly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Seriously. We're in town for work and kind of accidentally ended up here. No regrets at all. I had the Juarez burger. My husband had a Philly that he raved about also. Fries are my favorite thing ever. While the fries were seasoned really well - they were overcooked for my liking. Had an opportunity to dine here around 8:30 on a Saturday night. Not sure if this place has a normal crowd but it was empty. I was greeted by a nice waitress and the place is open seating. Stopped in after volleyball and had a great experience from the start. The staff was welcoming, the Dr. Pepper was cold and fizzy, and our server did an excellent job. My buddy had never been there before, and the server took the time to walk him through the menu and help him figure out what to order. I was waiting to catch a flight at Love Field and needed somewhere close that wasn't fast food. The reviews here led me to stop for dinner. I liked the atmosphere inside. It's a bar but plenty of restaurant seating as well. I chose to sit at the bar and Dan greeted me right away. He was very observant and friendly during my entire stay. He even reminded me it was still happy hour. So I ordered a beer and their chips with queso. The chips were absolutely amazing!! Fresh, hot and delicious. Loved the queso too. I chose the regular size south Philly along with onion rings. WOW ! Everything tasted so good. It all came out piping hot and so much flavor in the Philly. So I stopped in for a later lunch this past Friday. Meet with a smile from the waiter & seated right away. Always a cool sports bar vibe. I stay at the hotel next-door a couple days a week for work and I've walked by this place but never gone in. I decided to check it out last night and I'm so glad I did. I got a great chicken, Philly cheesesteak, onion rings and a salad for like 15 bucks on Wednesdays I think it's $10. The staff was super friendly. Not sure how long this location has been here, but we happen to stumble across it by luck. I think we were in the area and needed a quick route home, so we took Mockingbird Ln. If you are not paying attention you will miss it. Anywho, this place rocks!! They have a bar, nice indoor seating and a big patio area. I have always liked Texadelphia and this location does not disappoint. I have already eaten here like 3 times and every time your get the same consistency with every cheese steak, or at least I do. As a Texas Longhorn, my memories of having a Founders Favorite back at the original Texadelphia on Guadalupe are among my best. So, imagine my surprise when I see that oh so familiar logo as I'm driving near Dallas Love Field. I HAD TO STOP. I'm so glad that I did. Food was actually good. I got the Texican chicken steak. But the service from Daniel was horrible! I asked for a sweet tea with extra lemon on the side and was presented with one placed on my glass. Two things... 1. "On the side" in server terms means not on the glass, but separately in another dish because it means you used your dirty fingers to place a lemon on my glass instead of using the tongs to place in a dish. I like to submerge my lemons so yes this does matter. 2. I still asked for EXTRA lemon which I didn't receive. I then asked could I please have extra lemons on the side... I was brought 1 more wedge. I also asked questions about the menu since there are not ingredient details on the wings. I asked about the mustard wings and says what do you mean how they are prepared? I explain what are they seasoned with and are they naked or battered... the pictures are not clear on the menu either. He seemed annoyed I asked this and rushed though a delivery of what it was made out of. Mind you there are only 3 customers in the restaurant. 2 at the bar handled by the bartender and only myself in the dining room. We were on our way back from the airport and found this little quaint spot. We had a party of six and we all ordered something different. Everyone was full, satisfied, and happy with their orders. I would recommend the founders favorite with cherry peppers on the side (amazing), the hickory add jalapeños, the crispy chicken wrap with jalapeño ranch, and the hippie. Being from New Jersey originally, and having grown up not far from a true Philly Cheesesteak, my husband and I crave that piece of home from time to time - were super excited when this location for Texadelphia popped up! We used to live one block away and this restaurant's closest location was Greenville Ave, so this is a nice addition over in the medical district! My husband works in the area and we needed someplace quick and easy for lunch on our anniversary that we knew had good food. We easily decided we would try out this new location. They open at 11am daily which worked out perfectly for us, and they weren't too busy at all! We both got cheesesteaks- with wiz, OF COURSE. And for the first time we tried their fries with queso which were awesome!!! Waffle fries are always a good decision. All their cheesesteaks also come with tortilla chips and salsa so we took some of the fries home to enjoy later, they give you plenty of queso. Our waiter was attentive yet left us alone at the right times and the food was brought out fairly quickly. We also loved the interior and the wall mural they had painted.
