No complaints here really. I was all alone at 7:00 a.m. on a Thursday (6/15/2023). Easy in/out overall from I-80. Can be a bit of a challenge getting in/out around the 5:00 rush hour as I discovered on my return trip. We occasionally stay here at EL D but I prolly will never leave my car in this lot unattended. Too many shady characters milling about like they're cast members from the Walking Dead!

Smaller 6 charging stations available, but they also have a regular charging station for other cars :) It's right near the Atlantis so for all you gamblers out there, it's perfect! There are other places to eat or shop nearby, but I can't see exactly what they are sitting in my car.

Pulled in this AM and the chargers wouldn't show up on the TESLA ap. It's like a Potemkin village of Tesla chargers.

I rarely write reviews like this, but after nearly 60 days of being completely ignored following a…read moreformal complaint, I feel I have no other option but to share my experience publicly. My family and I stayed at the GSR for 3 nights to attend a close family member's wedding -- the entire reason we made the trip to Reno. Here is what we encountered: The Room We arrived to a visibly dirty room that needed a thorough cleaning. There were stains on the furniture, walls, and bedding. No washcloths were available despite multiple requests to housekeeping -- they finally arrived on our last day, too late to be of any use. On our first night, a sticky substance on the bedding transferred to my clothing and permanently ruined both my pants and my belt. I have not been able to remove it despite multiple attempts. Pest & Safety Concerns We found a large unidentifiable bug in our room that we had to kill and dispose of ourselves. For the remaining nights of our stay we were uneasy and anxious about what else might be present while we slept. Marijuana Odors -- Every Single Day For all 3 days and nights, the hallways leading to our room reeked of strong marijuana. My 7-year-old son asked me about the smell every single time. No parent should have to have that conversation repeatedly because a hotel cannot enforce its own policies. Rude Guest Services When I called to request washcloths, instead of simply helping me, the agent chose to lecture me on the difference between a washcloth and a face cloth. It was condescending and completely unhelpful. The Pool -- And the Moment We Lost Forever At the pool, our server went on break and her replacement could not locate my payment card. The time we lost waiting caused us to leave late -- and we arrived at the wedding chapel just as guests were walking out. We missed our family member's wedding ceremony entirely. We had traveled to Reno for one reason, and because of this staff failure we did not get to witness it. That is something we will never be able to get back. Checkout & Aftermath When I raised all of these issues at the front desk before checking out, I was redirected, dismissed, and ultimately handed a business card with a vague promise that someone would follow up about my clothing. No apology. No acknowledgment of the bigger picture. No resolution. That was nearly 60 days ago. I have followed up in writing. I have heard nothing -- not a single word. I spent a significant amount of money at this property and was treated as though my concerns were an inconvenience. I would not recommend the GSR to anyone traveling with family, and especially not for any trip where something important is at stake. GSR -- my complaint is still open. You know how to reach me.

Not sure if I will stay again, but I'll consider it.

We go to check in and after paying we were told the room wasnt ready yet and would be a couple more hours. No big deal, I asked can we still use the pool while we wait as we already unloaded our car. We were than informed "oh we don't have a pool/hottub". In no way was this the woman's fault working, but after swiping my card for a one night stay at almost $300.00 I immediately informed her this was the whole reason of our stay was to utilize the pool. I was then put through the ringer when I called Marriot Corp. who are"investigating" the false advertising situation. This took over an hour and now its been approaching two weeks and the charge has not been removed from my account. Dont stay here if you are expecting a pool. Super disappointing not only for the financial situation but for my son who was looking forward to his bday weekend.

I thought I would go to Toucan Sam's Buffet on Saturday night. Mistake. So I looked next door and found Red Bloom. What a great find. First of all, all the reviews note speedy and effective service and they were correct. Spot on. A spaceous, clean and efficient place. Now the food. Started with the tempura shrimp and Chinese broccoli. Wow!! The shrimp were large and succulent. The batter was perfection and the oil was fresh. I mean wow wow wow! The brocoli was very interesting. Served with a tasty sauce with garlic. So good. Wife had the pork belly adobo. Holy beans was this good. I would go as far as to say--best pork belly I've ever had. The servings are massive. This is easily a dish for two. I was blown away at this tender and tasty dish. All large plates come with a big bowl of rice fyi. Wowzer. I ordered the Szechuan chicken, it had two hot peppers to indicate very hot. It wasn't. It was seasoned perfectly, don't be shy, try it. The bowl is huge, again, plenty for two. Bell peppers, onions, and tons of tender white meat chicken. This is one tasty dish. Again, also a big bowl of rice. Wow again. Overall, this place was AMAZING. I love being surprised like this, especially after the let down of the mile long buffet line. That let down did not last long and I wish I could adjust the one star reviews of this place. So unfair--this is a five star experience all the way!! Great job Bloom, you rock it!

Our server Eddie and Tovar Maitre d', such attentive service! Eddie was very easy to talk to and we always ask questions just to enjoy the individual varied responses that we get. He was cool as a cucumber and said I picked the two most popular dishes i asked him about, the Chilean Sea-bass bass coming in first and prime rib a close second. He had a nice lighthearted manner. He recommended the Chilean Sea-bass and if you followed my reviews you know this one of my favorite dishes, I've tried to replicate the beautifully perfectly browned finish at home but to no avail,, I figured much easier to have the pros do it! This time the very different the addition was the lobster stuffed squash blossom, I have to say deliciously fried surprisingly light I enjoyed the crunch of the exterior but not so much the filing, the pieces of lobster and cannelloni beans nicely seasoned, enjoyed the sea bass but could only eat half as the bread was so delicious I couldn't stop!. The other dish lamb chops but the highlight of this dish is that you could order instead of mashed potatoes for $3.00 more you could get a baked potato with the works! See the pic, this was no ordinary spud this was a very large potato! If you fly into Reno we enjoy the newly remodeled rooms at Atlantis their spa is comprehensive with the fitness center, hair salon and indoor pool next door. We always stay a day or two for the spa or food before starting the trek up the hill to Lake Tahoe. Napa Bistro is hidden on the second floor around the corner from the arcade. I find the prices very good in today's world. Great place for special occasion dining.

However, recently, I've heard some people say it wasn't as good as it used to be . I was there last night. My cocktail was excellent. The flatbread was excellent. But I was totally disappointed in the clams. They were extremely salty, and in my opinion, they needed more butter and wine less salt. And, they were a little chewy. Perhaps since we didn't get there until 5:15, they were cooked early and left on simmer, continuing to cook. I really don't know. I usually order a basket of bread to go with it because the sauce is what makes so good. I ate the bread with butter because it was just too salty. The menu has also changed a bit. I miss the little pork bao buns.
