A desti action report, Peppermill Resort Reno has many things to offer. Our room was on the 14th floor with a nice view. Anthony checked us in, very professionally. The room was clean and accommodating with basic amenities. We used their Tuscana Spa for pedicure and massage services and lovednit. Last night we ate at Chi, their Asian fare diningroom and loved it, too. There isca Walgreens about 2 blocks to the right side of the resort, and I found it very convenient. We had coffee at their coffee shop this morning, wishing they had a Starbucks. But their coffee was very good. We watched the Marocco vs Canada game in the lobby and had a margaritas and a Cranberry Juice. The bartender was super friendly. Our children will join us tomorrow. But we like everything so far. Not fancy like Vegas, but personslized.

*3.5 but rounding to 4 stars* For a casino hotel, Peppermill is pretty clean and didn't have any bad odors. We booked a deluxe king room with the steam shower. We unfortunately got a room in a bad location. It was really close to the elevator and ice machines so there was constant noise throughout the night. The room is very spacious and had lots of bathroom counter space. The steam shower makes it feel like you have your own personal sauna room. Cool to experience. Lots of great amenities such as a spa, two pools and a decent fitness room. We're not big on gambling so it was nice that they had a "Game Lab" aka an arcade room. This hotel has plenty of parking. They have some EV chargers but it may be difficult to get one as it's very populated.

Just love the Peppermill the atmosphere the people and especially the gym. We love the restaurants and the service is impeccable.

Another amazing stay! As always, the rooms were fresh and clean. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, was always on point. My past three stays have been in the Tuscany Tower, and I highly recommend it. Rooms and bathrooms are larger, the showers are amazing. I believe the rooms were recently renovated. Definitely worth the extra cost!

This is the only hotel that I will stay at in Reno. I have been here many many times over the past few years. It's a quick getaway with a beautiful drive from Cali! I have stayed in the Peppermill Tower primarily, however the Tuscany Tower is nice. The hotel rooms are nice in both towers. The food is decent at every restaurant that I have been, although I have not tried all of them. I have my favorites and you can't go wrong with any of them, honestly. Always a great time at the Peppermill Reno.

Feeding my Christmas decorations addiction and Peppermill is coming in close to it's competition. Beautiful Christmas trees. I do love the energy at peppermill. Especially watching sports and having a light adult beverage.

On a last-minute trip to visit my dad in Reno, we booked the Peppermill Resort since that's where he was staying. We have two kids, so we were happy to see that the hotel is kid-friendly and even has an arcade and a heated pool, which was perfect for winter. Unfortunately, we traveled during a storm and the drive took about 14 hours. I was able to call the front desk ahead of time and request a room on the same floor as my dad. They made a note in our reservation, and when I received the mobile check-in text, I could see the request reflected there. Once I completed mobile check-in, it confirmed we were on the same floor. It still took another 10 hours before we finally arrived, but our room was ready and the final check-in process was smooth and easy. The room itself was very spacious for a family of four. We really appreciated that the double beds were queen-sized--after recently staying at a Marriott with full-size beds, this was way better. There was plenty of storage in the drawers and closet for all our snow gear, swimwear, and regular clothes for 4 people over two days. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We were thankful to be on a non-smoking floor, which gave us a break from the smoke smell in the casino areas. I understand this is a casino and that indoor smoking is allowed in Nevada, so I won't complain about that. I called the front desk a few times during our stay, and every interaction was friendly and responsive. While I don't gamble, drink, or smoke--so this isn't really my scene--I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys some or all of those things.

8/7/25 FYI. Peppermill, Hot August Nights! Booths
    Lee D.

Quality/Quantity - Overall good. We came here today for Hot August Nights. Their parking garage was under construction, but still plenty of spaces, even with Hot August Night going on. Still easy in and out. Atmosphere - What is up with all your large screen TVs? To create FAKE selfies...? See picture. 1623 rooms, 785 suites, 10 restaurants, and a convention space all within the hotel. Notable restaurants are: Bimini Steakhouse, Biscotti's, Biscott's Cafe, Cafe Espresso, Cafe Milano, Casino Bar, Chi, Fireside lounge, High Limit Slot Lounge, Island Buffet (currently closed), Lobby Lounge, Oceano (2016 remodel), Romanza, Sole Poolside, Sports Bar and Deli, The Pub, The Terrace, and White Orchid Private Dining. Tuscany themed. Heated outdoor pool and cabanas. A fairly large gym. You can also get married in the Pisa Room. Spa & salon. Free use of computers for flight information or to print boarding passes. So many bright video slot machines. Add this with the big screen TVs and I am starting to get dizzy... Poker room. Etc. Service - Good. Mostly self service. Well today my waitress was amazing, the beers kept coming and I even left winning $7, LOL. I gave my winnings away as a tip. Price - Normal for a resort casino. Casino resort prices. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success since 1971.

My first stay at the Peppermill was a really pleasant experience. I actually got upgraded because the room I originally booked wasn't available -- total Jerry Seinfeld moment (if you know, you know). The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was great, and the pillows had just the right amount of support. But the real highlight was the bathroom -- especially the steam shower, which was amazing after a long day. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in Reno. Great rooms, nice amenities, and a solid experience all around.

Came to this resort to visit family who live locally. We saw that it had been touted as a great hotel, so we wanted to try out the place. The staff here -- all of them-- are amazing. They are friendly and helpful and get the job done. It's refreshing to come to a resort where the employees look like they actually like their job. The room in the Tuscany tower, which is being renovated, was beautiful. Even though they are still working on it, we had a quiet room and barely noticed the construction workers. One thing I would change is the bed and linens as they were a little less comfortable than other nice hotels. The resort restaurants are excellent as well! We will definitely stay here in the future!!

Got a room for the night so went to spa before check in. Great spot! Nice staff. Clean and fancy feeling compared to other Reno trips. Steakhouse dinner here tonight so may add that to this review.

I pulled out $200 to play the slots and ended up walking away with over $1,200, so I definitely can't complain about that! My one con is the rewards program. I was disappointed to learn that spending at the resort doesn't earn tier credit the way it does at some other casino resorts. Being able to earn credit for hotel, dining, and other property spending is a great way for guests to move up tiers and gives you more incentive to keep your spending on property. Hopefully J Resort considers adding this or offering more multipliers in the future. Would I come back? Absolutely. Then he said I'd have to proceed to one of the kiosks to print out a 25% off discount flyer to use at any of the dining establishment. (I dont know about you but I've been frequenting casinos for 35 years, and it was a surprise that rather than using the players card members had to find a kiosk on the floor to get their locals discount). Nonetheless I did and on my way the hostess suggested I check out the buffet instead. I took the escalators upstairs to find a 2 star buffet with food sitting under heat lamps ranging from 2in mini pizzas, a plethora of seafood (if that's your thing) and then dried up French food...all for the toll of $36.95 before the discount. So I opted again for something light at Hannah's Express and found myself interacting with an unprofessional employee who stated that I wasn't able to use my discount for a salad and pizza...hmm, I thought that was still a dining option, apparently not. I walked out of the facility and tossed the discount in the trash, and followed up this horrendous experience with a call to the Resort Manager who assured me that he would pass on my concerns to management. This is also on the heels of playing slots at their location and waiting for two hours before a cocktail waitress could come by to bring me a soda, red bull or adult beverage. My suggestion is that you enjoy their outdoor venue and events, relax in their plush rooms and skip dining altogether unless you want to splurge on steaks at J Paul's.

While heading out for the next day's activities, we crossed paths with a bellhop and asked him where the carts were stored, since we couldn't find one the night before and had to haul our heavy luggage from the garage, through the casino and up to our room. The carts were not available for use. He gave us a number to call and said he would personally bring one to us. Awesome. That afternoon, we called him and there was no answer. We called the listed bellhop office and they said they'd be right up. We waited 1 and 1/2 hours, but no one came, so we lugged our stuff to the other tower. Guess what: the room was identical to the previous one. The coffee maker barely worked in the new room, plus the AC unit was very noisy and the shower drain clogged after a minute of water. I think Circus Circus has been leaning on the Midway arcade to attract visitors but have let the rooms run down without renovation and it will cost them a lot of money in the long run. There were several elevators we could use, and it was nice that it was a clear glass elevator so you could see out. We did not hang out at the casino, but it also seems a bit older. You can definitely smell the smoke in here. We only tried the Purple Parrot for dining and it was solid. There seemed to be a seafood restaurant and it smelled quite fishy in that area. They have an arcade on the second floor for kids. We ended up finding several machines that were broken so we got some free play out of it, which was fun. So I am not and neither is my Mom and Father, especially, a fan of looking at a menu on a phone, and not speaking to a real person. Some people absolutely cannot do that. Do they want to exclude elderly people from ordering food? So I went to the Steakhouse:Ruth Christies, paid $210.00 and had to use plastic utensils and eat out of plastic containers. I asked if I could have real utensils and plates because I was staying there and the answer was no. It was quite disappointing. That really needs to be fixed. Very classless.

Stayed here one night, and unlike some of the other reviews, I was very happy here. The room was…read morespacious, including the bathroom, it was also clean and comfortable. They had garage parking. There were some stores and restaurants on the property, plus the casino. We ate at a delicious restaurant on the property. Totally enjoyed our stay.
