I was pleased by the help from the security guards giving my mom a ride in a wheelchair up to the room. Very nice. But, I really dislike that they don't have room service and any food you order is done with Caesar Eats on your phone. You can't call and talk to anyone. There is no room service! it's really outlandish not to provide that anymore. It is part of a fancy hotel. So I am not and neither is my Mom and Father, especially, a fan of looking at a menu on a phone, and not speaking to a real person. Some people absolutely cannot do that. Do they want to exclude elderly people from ordering food? So I went to the Steakhouse:Ruth Christies, paid $210.00 and had to use plastic utensils and eat out of plastic containers. I asked if I could have real utensils and plates because I was staying there and the answer was no. It was quite disappointing. I think they should not do food to go because it really feels like a rip off and it was not a great way to eat a steak. Try cutting a steak with a plastic knife. Very poor service and presentation. That really needs to be fixed. Very classless. read more

Stayed here one night, and unlike some of the other reviews, I was very happy here. The room was spacious, including the bathroom, it was also clean and comfortable. They had garage parking. There were some stores and restaurants on the property, plus the casino. We ate at a delicious restaurant on the property. Totally enjoyed our stay. read more

Enjoyed my stay at Spa 87 Suite in Eldorado Skyline and Spa rooms. The room was extremely roomie. Great for a big family, or luxury couple getaway. A little awkward for non-couples staying at the suite; only because the beautiful bath tub is displayed next to the window with no cover from the room, and sauna/shower is separated by glass; and completely visible to anyone in the room. To get privacy, need to close the entire large room to shower or bathe. Otherwise; it's a beautiful place; a bit "outdated" but still luxurious. Amenities include, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, shower cap, facial soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, tissue, toilet paper (haha; a must!), ice maker, water, fridge, bottle opener, a variety of drinks and snacks in the fridge for a $$$ price, coffee maker with coffee pods. The curtains in the bedroom/ bathtub area has a switch that closes the curtains; it's a nice luxurious touch; too bad the switch is across the room...the bathtub fills quickly and they have a "shower gel" there that can be turned into bubbles as you fill the bath. The temperature of the room was comfortable. Clean and well maintained, apart from some bits of less than luxurious touch up paint jobs here and there. The view is lovely in the daytime and night. I can see the snowy Nevada mountains from the bath in the day. And it's pretty neon lights and watching the cars dance through the lot looking for parking at night. The entire hotel is connected to restaurants and the casino. The even center is just about a two block walk away. I had a lovely time here. Just don't like the casinos and smoking. But it didn't affect my stay in the suite. I can't understand why this hotel doesn't have any reviews or has terrible reviews. My guess would be, the majority of the guests here are here to patron the casinos, and would not pay attention to the stay of this hotel. read more

Great place to stay in Reno. Lots of restaurants, very clean and comfortable room. We had a corner spa suite and loved it. What a great view and awesome room. read more

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. They said they were full so they couldn't move us. Housekeeping came to spray a room freshener which didn't help. Air conditioning is old and terrible. Room was stuffy and smelly. " Luxury room" was anything but luxury. Never staying here again. read more

It's a dump ! And filthy would be the word of choice. Moreover, after a $40 resort fee ( pool closed) they requested a $30 early check- in fee when I arrived at 2pm They clearly utilize the bait and switch acumen as the upgraded king room that i reserved had a photo of a mountain view on their phone app. First photo is of the first room provided to me. Then I made the long walk back to the front desk to ask for a different room that reflects their website. Second photo is the replacement room ... no mountains. YOU BE THE JUDGE ! read more

The facility was dirty, 1/2 of the equipment, escalators, elevator, doors were broken/not working, pool was not open, nonsmoking areas smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Staff was burned out and not helpful, front desk check in was understaffed, uninformed about facilities. In-house phones were useless. Spa suite had view of parking garage, upgrades were only for smoking rooms on higher floors. Restaurants and store hours were very limited. Spa only open Thursday-Sunday. Only machines in casino. Very disappointed all around. read more

Supposedly this is a four-star hotel. My room had curtain rods that were coming off the walls that let light through, an asbestos ceiling, a toilet seat that wouldn't stay on the toilet, and a bed that was so old it tilted to one side. I was afraid I might fall off! In other words, it was run down and in desperate need of a remodel. I would not stay here again. read more

We arrived at the hotel fourty-five minutes early for check-in after driving since early morning. The receptionist told me our room was ready and that we could check-in if I paid an additional $40. We waited. Since my wife and I have mobility challenges, I ask them for an accessible room, which they took to be one with a fixed shower in a bathtub. Not only was the shower difficult and dangerous for us to use, the water temperature was impossible to control and my wife burned herself. Once the water was on we couldn't completely stop the flow. I will never stay in this place again. read more

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. We were booked for Friday through Monday. We checked in with Valet parking and the young man who helped unload our car grabbed a box ( there was a China tea set inside) from the car by the top, opening it and put it that way on the trolley. I got very annoyed and asked my husband to hand me the rest of my fragile items as I felt I couldn't trust this kid. When we checked in we asked specifically for a quiet room, but my husband also asked for an ADA compliant room. They put us right next to the elevator. The first night was awful. Every person who got off the elevator seemed to want to talk at the top of their voice. When we got to our room, my husband had a difficult time trying to get my wheelchair through the space between the end of the bed and the tv stand. Getting into the room was a feat unto itself. It is a good thing I still have some upper body strength or my husband would have thrown his back out trying to manage the door and my wheelchair. This room was not comfortable. It was not cleaned very well and I'm sorry but it felt like the only thing ADA compliant about it was the bathroom. We had a really hard time getting my wheelchair in and out of that room. I was sitting one of the chairs at the table and I noticed something on the floor. It looked like a cap to a water bottle so I looked to see if my husband mistakenly dropped his and then couldn't see it. Nope, all of ours were present and accounted for. This was from a previous occupant. Then I noticed there was some paper trash under the edge of the dust ruffle of the bed. I told my husband not to leave a tip. I am sorry. If you cannot make a reasonable effort to make sure the room is clean, I will not tip you. Our whole stay was abysmal as far as the room was concerned. We spent more time out of the room than we did in it, which almost never happens. While we were down in the casino, the staff were kind to us. Even the lady that I got to help us when we couldn't figure out why the slot machine wasn't reading the voucher correctly. That was our fault. She remained professional and was kind to us. The cocktail waitresses were all very nice to us. All of the restaurant staff were kind to us and treated us with respect. Security was very kind to us whenever we approached with questions. Our biggest. Complaint is the room. We normally stay at the Silver Legacy. We have never been disappointed there. SL didn't have a room where my husband wanted, so we opted for on at the Eldorado. Suffice to say we won't be making that mistake again. Oh, one more thing: you parents that use the wheelchair lifts because you think you are special, knock it off!!! Those lifts are not for you. If you bother to look at the signs, it shows you. If you encounter stairs and little precious doesn't want to walk. Stop, pick him up out of the stroller, and carry him on your hip, drag the stroller with your other arm. You are the equivalent of the ubereats drivers that park in the handicap stalls when they go to restaurants to pick up food. Enough already!!!! TL:DR if you have other options for places to stay, go there instead. Especially if you are in a wheelchair and fully reliant on some else to help you get in and out of the room. read more

Here for a Yelp event. It was great. Beautiful venue. I had a Caramel apple mule. The show was beautiful. The seats were good. Singers and dancers were very talented. Thank-you Yelp for a wonderful night. read more

If you want bed bugs, this is the place. Tried multiple times to tell them so someone else wouldn't suffer my experience but was calls were transferred to oblivion and they hung up without speaking to. A day later I got through and was told someone would contact me phone or email within 8 to 72 hours. It has been nearly 175 hours later no response. They obviously don't care about their hotel guests. Contacted the Health Department. read more

NOT LGBTQ FRIENDLY !!!!!!!!!! Do NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE!!! Something is very off about this place. I traveled from out of state to this hotel. I got 2 rooms. One for my children and the other for my partner and I. Around midnight, my partner was getting ice down the hall and witnessed 2 MEN walking into the room with my sleeping children. Asked them wtf they were doing and they said they were security, and had gotten a "loud TV noise complaint ". She was so shaken up and asked them to leave. They said that if they recieved another loud tv complaint, we'd be told to leave. (Mind you, the prior night, I had been kept up most of the night due to other rooms on the same floor having domestic disputes, Banging on doors periodically throughout the night. There were even people camping out at the end of the hallway with all their belongings just sitting on the floor... SECURITY NEVER CAME NOT ONCE ) I went down to the lobby and hotel management said they NEVER RECEIVED NOT ONE complaint) When asked why a loud TV complaint warranted non uniformed men to enter a room with sleeping children instead of contacting me to turn it down, the head of security said " I wasn't here when you checked in. How am I supposed to know there's kids in the room!?" Oscar and Jeffery were rude, condescending and talked to me as if I wasn't a paying guest. They had no regard for our privacy!!! And honestly it was altogether inappropriate and erie. I then went back to my room and decided to contact security to get names of all parties involved. I was then hung up on And when I called back, dispatch wouldn't answer my call. At that point, I knew I wasn't Safe. My Family was not safe. If it was an emergency, My family would have to figure out another form of help. That night I had nightmares, I couldn't sleep. There's something off here. What would have happened to my children if my partner hadn't left the room to get ice. Those men entered our children's room for another reason. The TV wasn't loud at all. They violated our rights. Refuse to give me their hotel policy. No one has returned my calls from corporate. I tried to reach the director GUY and his secretary WEEKS ago and still have yet to recieve a call back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

Hope this place goes out of business. Rude pit bosses, rude front desk staffs. And dirty rooms. If there is a less than 5 starts, I would do it. Rooms: Dirty, Filthy - sheet were not cleaned Bathroom: Toilet did not work. Missing items. Towels smelled Room Service: What service? Called the front desk 6 times, and no one answered. Finally, on the 7th time they did but no help. Room Service. Coffee items missing. Called for room service, asked for decaf coffee. Waited 1 hour and they wanted to charge me even though they were free. Too Expensive, no service, dirty rooms. Stay away. read more

I stayed at the hotel August 16 thru the 18th. When I checked out I told them I didn't want them to charge my credit card I paid in cash for my room. Eleven days later my credit card was charged for the room. I called and spoke to the desk manager and was told I would be credited back but instead of crediting me they charged me again. I called again and they told me they had to investigate what was going on and it would take a week to get back to me. I've never had an experience like this and I am completely dissatisfied with the service. It's unacceptable and borders on stealing from me. Beware of paying in cash there! read more

I flew to Reno to see my brother in the hospital (st Mary's medical center). There were plenty of less expensive hotels nearby but it was late and I chose this one thinking it would be comfortable and safe since I was traveling alone. When I walked into my room there was a pile of dirty towels in bathroom area. I immediately called the front desk, they apologized and sent housekeeping to my room. Housekeeping dumped a plastic bag of clean (I hope) towels on the counter, took the dirty ones and left. Then I noticed both trash cans full, a dirty bathroom countertop with stubs from shaving, debris on rug and again called front desk. The told me they would send someone to my room to clean and they had no other rooms available. Declined as I was exhausted from flight and spending my day in the hospital. The said to call in morning and they would clean or switch my room if any were available. When I got ready to shower I realized there was no soap, shampoo etc. Luckily I had face wash in my travel bag. As I was about to lay down I noticed hairs on the pillow and a black stain on partially exposed pillow - gross! The other bed seemed ok so I just slept on it. The next day I switched rooms - it was ok, nothing great. The staff gave me a generic apology but really seemed annoyed and overworked. Would not stay again. When you pay close to $200 for a room you at least expect it to be clean. read more
