We wanted a heated towel rack installed that would be hardwired in. I had a few companies come out and decided to go with Ben and New Phase Electric. He showed up on time to look over the job and after his quote, he told me he could get started immediately! His quote was a few dollars lower than someone who came out earlier, but there were a couple of things that made me chose him: 1) He was not pushy and respected that I wanted him to either take off his boots or wear paper booties 2) He was patient in his explanation of what was involved. He completed the job in the time frame he said he would and did a very good job. He did point out an error on his part where he had to cut an extra hole in the drywall but he apologized and patched it. That too was done very nicely. So far, so good. They have done two quotes for two different projects. We moved forward with one of them. They seemed to be more "doable" than other electical companies who were fearful of working with the older property we have. Although the panels have been rebuilt, other companies seemed to make an issue about the age of the home, yet there are many in Reno this old. So I'll wait to see how they do with the actual project of installing separate circuits and conduit for running electrical to new laundry room builds. read more
