Jesse at Tek Electric really came through for us to resolve a challenging and very disruptive electrical issue at our residence. Our home was without electricity for more than three days. What initially seemed like a simple repair turned into a complex issue involving damage to the meter which required close coordination with NV Energy to repeatedly de-energize and re-energize power to the residence. Our electrician, Jesse totally went above and beyond what we would have normally expected. He took charge in coordinating with NV Energy to streamline the process, ensuring every step happened as quickly as possible. Understanding how critical the situation was for our family and pets that required power (a large temperature-controlled aquarium), he rearranged his schedule to prioritize our issue and provided continuous support til our power got restored. The repair also required some extremely hard-to-find parts that were only available online and had a lengthy delivery time. Instead of requiring us to wait several days to a week (without power), Jesse leveraged his local network and somehow sourced and acquired the necessary parts the same day, allowing the repair work to be completed immediately. It's rare to find someone who combines real technical expertise with such integrity, sense of urgency, and genuine consideration for his clients. Jesse took on our emergency as if it was his own and worked diligently to get the job was done. Honestly we would have been in a major bind without his resourcefulness and know-how in this situation. Unfortunately, we didn't actually get to work with Jessie due to a family emergency that came up, postponing our project indefinitely. However, he was incredibly responsive (even when we went radio silent for a while), prompt, and professional. His bid was very reasonably priced. Replaced a NEMA 14-30 dryer outlet and had to add a ground wire to the panel. His availability was good, came over the next day. I was intimidated by the work since it was 220v, so I called an electrician. There was an unforeseen issue with the ground wire so TEK had to do extra work and he didn't charge me extra so that was nice. However the original solution TEK proposed made me feel uncomfortable, so luckily he found a safer way to fix the ground wire. The price seemed like a good value. However after asking multiple times for a receipt, he would respond but not send a receipt. I wanted proof a certified electrician worked on it in case anything went wrong, but I never got it. read more

I never did get to meet him or get my job done. I hired him to install some outdoor lighting and because of his availability and quick schedule, his rating on Yelp and a reasonable rate. The day to work came and went and he contacted asking to reschedule he was behind. Rescheduled, then he contacted me again he's behind again, wanted to reschedule again and will do for free.
