I think other Yelpers should know what to expect if they request & get a contact from this co., so here goes: I submitted a request through Yelp for an electrical estimate and received a call almost immediately--before I'd even had a chance to check the company's reviews. The caller sounded almost human but appeared to be an AI agent, with no upfront disclosure. There were even what sounded like simulated call-center voices and typing noises in the background. I would have been willing to speak with an AI agent, but I'd prefer being told that's who--or what--I'm talking to. The charade felt unnecessary. I proceeded with scheduling an estimate, only to learn at the very end that there was a $99 fee to send someone out, which could be credited toward work ordered later. That information should come at the beginning, before taking someone through the appointment-setting process. I'd prefer to see if there are highly rated pros willing to give free estimates before considering a company that wants to charge an upfront fee before any work is even done or I get a chance to evaluate/speak to the person who comes out. My feedback is simple: disclose that the caller is AI and explain the $99 visit fee upfront. Customers should have that information before deciding whether to proceed. Repeat: I haven't used their electrical services, so this review is strictly about the initial contact and scheduling experience. The immediate response was convenient, but the lack of transparency left a poor first impression.

Jolt Electric is amazing. Jerry is great to work with, he is super friendly and comes with a "can…read moredo" attitude. His office gal Heather is also great to work with, when I called to get an estimate Jerry was here the next day. Once we approved the estimate (which was very reasonable) Heather had us on the schedule for the following week. There was a cancellation and Heather reached out and was able to move it up four days earlier. She said that the guys would be here between 8:00-9:00 am, Jack arrived promptly at 8:00. We had two projects for them. 1) Install a ceiling fan in a location on a vaulted ceiling where there was none. I was nervous about how this was going to happen. We don't have much of an attic and I didn't know how they were going to get electricity to that location. Jack made it look so easy. 2) Was to move a light switch around the corner. We are opening a wall between the kitchen and living room and needed some wires moved, plus I wanted the light switch on the on the other wall. My husband insisted that it could not be done without ripping out part of that wall. He wanted me to leave it where it was. When Jerry arrived, he said it will be an easy fix (thanks Jerry for letting me win that battle ). My husband still had doubts but it came out perfect! If I could, I would give these guys a 10. Jack was great, he was so friendly and respectful, he covered all the floors and furniture with plastic and cleaned everything up before he left. He made sure there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor. The whole staff is professional, personable and courteous. I would highly recommend Jolt Electric to everyone. I have attached some photos of the finished projects plus a picture of Jack making the ceiling fan installation look easy! Thanks Jolt Electric for a wonderful experience.

Heather, in the office, is wonderfully helpful, kind, and empathetic. She understood that not everyone has the funds for electrical work and may need to work OT to get it. I can tell that the big and small jobs that he's going to will be done efficiently. Jolt Electric was my 2nd and last bid on this work.
