To rent you need a Credit card. Not a debt card. I have seen people get very upset when they find out. They also charge a $100 deposit. They need proof of insurance too. You are able to buy it there. However it van be pricey. It does give you peace of mind. They have after hours drop off. I have always used that option with zero issues.

We were contacted by them and a reservation was made for us after the Tesla key card we were given at the Van Nuys location did not work. We then drove approximately 45 minutes to this location, only to arrive and have the situation handled very poorly. There was a clean, new Tesla available for pickup, but we were given excuses and were told things that did not seem consistent with what was actually happening. We were also told that they did not have the PIN for the vehicle, which made the situation even more confusing. After driving 45 minutes based on a reservation they arranged for us, we expected the vehicle to be ready and the process to be straightforward. Instead, we felt that we were being misled and that our time was completely disregarded. I strongly recommend documenting everything and verifying who is actually authorized to operate these rental locations before doing business with them. This was an extremely disappointing experience and raised serious concerns for us about how this location is being operated.

I was met with great customer service. It was a Monday and you know it was going to be busy, busy, but Isabelle who assisted me had pep in her step, she was knowledgeable, efficient but most of all, so kind and helpful. She not only answered my questions, set me up quickly but when I needed some additional assistance, she made sure I was well taken care of. And the sedan I got was clean and ready to drive off the lot for the week. My return was just as efficient. Quick and easy and then I waied for my ride back to the auto body shop. There was only Isabelle and Bellagio but these two did not miss a beat. I never felt forgotten or dismissed despite how busy they were. They were sensitive to our needs to get going so was on it. Great teaming. Good customer service. An operation with great people is a beauty to behold when you are in Operations and customer service. Of course, it is never a great thing to have to take the car to the shop, so everything and every experience that can help to make the situation better is so greatly appreciated. Since they live in Glendale, my husband decided to rent from Avis conveniently located in the Hilton hotel . Dino is very quick and efficient. He did all the rental paperwork so fast that we were out of there in minutes! Such a pleasant experience that I told my husband we should do this every time we visit!

I have had my current Uber rental thru Avis for only two weeks. The car came with four bald tires…read moreand a broken windshield wiper. Two of the tires were leaking air. The battery died the next day. Avis fixed the battery but refused the tires even though they had 0 tread. I have now replaced two tires out of pocket(500$) and windshield wipers they wouldn't replace in the middle of a rainstorm(60$). I have missed 5 days of work in two weeks because of this. Not one concession had been offered by Avis and Uber couldn't care less about driver safety. If you are driving for Uber please check your tires before you rent from here. I have rented three electric cars from them and all of them had bald tires. ALL of THEM!! You will be responsible for the fix out of pocket or they will take away your car and you may not get a replacement. I am quitting Uber altogether because of stuff like this.

He checked the car, smiled, and said everything was fine. I even asked to confirm, and he said yes. Then the next day, I see a $60 charge on my credit card. I called and spoke with Laura, who was rude and not helpful at all. On top of that, the car itself wasn't in great shape. scratches, dings, and not very clean. I've had better experiences with Budget/Avis, but I'll definitely be using a different location next time. This whole situation felt pretty shady. Not the friendliest staff either.

Budget failed to provide the service that thy promise, then upcharged me for not making up for their disgracefully poor service. Needless to say, I will never rent from Budget, Avis , Payless again and I suggest the same for anyone else looking for quuality from a rental car company.

Vehicle was in good condition with some minor cosmetic flaws. Nothing major. Vehicle also had a CarFax report which I did like. He also had evidence of a recent vehicle inspection from Pep Boys. All this helps when deciding on making an investment with a vehicle. Test drive went well. And after some time completing paperwork I went to the bank and withdrew the money to purchase the vehicle.
