Upon returning vehicle to location to reports the issues with rental experience they just blew it off and disregarded them. Felt like a very unsafe situation like driving a rolling trash on wheels. To rent you need a Credit card. Not a debt card. I have seen people get very upset when they find out. They also charge a $100 deposit. They need proof of insurance too. You are able to buy it there. However it van be pricey. It does give you peace of mind. They have after hours drop off. I have always used that option with zero issues.

Their customer service is friendly, understanding, and ready to get you in your rental. I had no issues with these guys and found them to be very good at making the rental process seamless. Nice and easy. (A tip: have your information ready too. It will go smoother.) They washed and vacuumed the car as well before I drove off with the rental. A nice gesture to not have a dirty car. I'm grateful! Overall, I really find this place to be a good spot to rent a car if you live in the neighborhood and your car is having a repair or something. Call these guys :) . The battery died the next day. Avis fixed the battery but refused the tires even though they had 0 tread. I have now replaced two tires out of pocket(500$) and windshield wipers they wouldn't replace in the middle of a rainstorm(60$). I have missed 5 days of work in two weeks because of this. Not one concession had been offered by Avis and Uber couldn't care less about driver safety. If you are driving for Uber please check your tires before you rent from here. I have rented three electric cars from them and all of them had bald tires. ALL of THEM!! You will be responsible for the fix out of pocket or they will take away your car and you may not get a replacement. I am quitting Uber altogether because of stuff like this.

I was told that it would not be a problem that you could bring the rental back at anytime you would just have to pay the daily rate which was 33 dollars when I booked and if I were to book again today would be the same she charged me 87 dollars a day for the daily rate when returning the car after two days. Quantell was the worst! F- AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!…read more Absolutely awful experience at this Hertz location. I waited about 30 minutes just to even be acknowledged, while a full office of customers stood around getting more and more frustrated. At one point there were around 8 people waiting, and instead of managing the counter or helping clear the line, the manager, Quantrell, was outside lazily and slowly washing cars while the office backed up. It was unbelievable to watch. When I finally got helped, I was told there were no rentals available unless I wanted to pay a lot extra for an slightly upgraded vehicle. My other option was to be put on a waiting list as "number 4" and wait by the phone. Seriously. So instead of honoring reservations or offering real solutions, this place seemed more focused on pushing customers into paying more even after we all had to wait long. The customer service only got worse from there. One employee the older lady with the dyed red hair was rude, combative, and completely unpleasant to deal with. Quaytrell was no better. He was misleading, unhelpful, and clearly not capable of managing the location. He even told me other rental companies would probably be out of cars too, which turned out to be a complete LIE!!! I walked over to Enterprise and was in a car within 10 minutes, with multiple vehicles sitting right there on the lot. The Hertz glendale location had no idea what they were doing, did not care, or both, probably both. Unqualified people are working here, Quartell is a complete joke. He got vengenance and charged me a $28 no show fee after telling me he cancelled the order, Quantell never cancelled and I knew he was bad news from the start. This was easily the worst rental car experience I have ever had. Disorganized, badly managed, misleading, and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else, this place is not worth the discount, I think it's going to close soon, the employees are so bad here and read the reviews they are ALL BAD! They told us the car we ordered was not available, we were told we could come back later that day for the car we had reserved...but they couldn't guarantee that they would have a car then either. The sales associate found this funny apparently. They couldn't tell us if there were any other locations in the area that had the car we had reserved. They also couldn't/wouldn't cancel the reservation, which led to us having to call the main Hertz number and cancel it ourselves in front of them. Absolutely useless.

Personally, I was looking for a used Daily Driver that was a Hybrid engine vehicle. I sent them an email and text and received a prompt response from Ashek. Scheduled a test drive the following day. Vehicle was in good condition with some minor cosmetic flaws. Nothing major. Vehicle also had a CarFax report which I did like. He also had evidence of a recent vehicle inspection from Pep Boys. All this helps when deciding on making an investment with a vehicle. Test drive went well. And after some time completing paperwork I went to the bank and withdrew the money to purchase the vehicle. I did not finance but wanted to make it clear they do offer Financing as an option. I'm very pleased with my 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid. I'd highly recommend this dealership.
