My salesperson, Fulton, was excellent from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. Carlos in Finance was also very pleasant and helpful. The real highlight of my visit, however, was Danny, who finalized all of my paperwork. Purchasing a vehicle can be a long and sometimes stressful process, but Danny's personality completely changed the experience. He was welcoming, funny, personable, and kept me laughing throughout the transaction. We quickly built rapport, and his positive attitude made the 4.5-hour process much more enjoyable. His customer service skills are outstanding, and he is a tremendous asset to Airport Marina Honda. My one area for improvement is the customer waiting experience. When customers are making a major financial commitment and spending several hours at the dealership, it would be nice to have some basic refreshments available. Even something as simple as bottled water or a popcorn machine would go a long way. Sitting in the dealership for over four hours during 90-degree summer weather with nothing offered was disappointing. That said, the excellent service provided by Fulton, Carlos, and especially Danny made the experience a positive one. Danny's charisma, humor, and professionalism truly turned what could have been a frustrating wait into an enjoyable experience.

do not use them even with costco auto dealer program. put a different zip code for a different…read moredealership. they still play the same games as people in the past have commented on yelp: car is not on their list of approved costco discounts, car fell off their list of approved costco discounts so you cant get the discount, absurd mark ups on dealer installed items. if you do use them ask for costco master price list immediately or just walk. costco reps confirmed they are required to show you at the time of meeting with a sales person. they play games and do not show you the agreed upon costco discount so you have no clue if they are being honest about their discount or not. how costco hasn't removed them when the same issues since 2018 have not been resolved is beyond me. they force you to do dealer adds even on cars in transit. they are extremely slow to respond once they get you in. they were so fast and helpful when you put your request in to costco but once it came down to discussing the deal, thats where everything fell apart. unwilling to move on dealer adds, try to double dip on dealer installed items and will try to charge you extra for labor even though their price list says "installed price". high pressure sales tactics to try to play into your fomo. they the embodiment of why people hate dealerships and why people want direct to buy from manufacturers. EDIT: Spoke with Brian the GM and he did apologize for the experience. He was extremely friendly but unfortunately what is done is done. If we are in the market again for a car, I will try to contact Brian to give their dealer another chance. Culver City has grown a lot over the years, but the dealership feels left behind. Upon my first visit years ago, I asked to see an Accord, and was shown Civic after Civic after Civic, with the salesman pressuring me to test drive one. I kept telling him a Civic was too small for me, and it took him showing me three Civics to finally show me an Accord, at which point he lost interest in helping me. Years later (just a few months ago) I was in a lemon of a vehicle of another brand, so I came in looking for help rolling over into a new lease. With my negative equity, the payments were far too high (with the payments exceeding another Honda dealer by a few hundred dollars for the same exact car with the same negative equity). When I expressed this and told them I'd have to do what I could do make up the negative equity first, one of the managers came over and told me I should buy the vehicle then do a voluntary repossession then get into a new vehicle at the price I wanted to help cancel out the negative equity. That alone is enough to make me not trust these guys. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

Ed Little Auto recently performed routine maintenance service on my automobile, at a quoted…read moremaintenance cost cheaper than Pep Boys, and, during an inspection, they concluded that my front and rear tires did not need replacing. Today, however, I was advised, by a different auto mechanic (i.e., Pep Boys) to replace the front tires of my FWD automobile, but not the rear tires of my automobile. Pep Boys declared my front tires as being "completely worn," indicating that immediate replacement would be necessary. After inspecting my car's tires and even getting a 3rd opinion on the matter of whether (or not) my front tires needed replacement, it became apparent that my front tires still had significant useful life left in them, which validates Ed Little Auto's assessment. Therefore, besides doing quality service work at great value to the customer, with competitive pricing, it should be clearly stated that Ed Little Auto engages in honorable, trustworthy business practices, as they insisted that I didn't yet need to pay for the replacement of my car's front tires, unlike Pep Boys: who tried to exploit me for more money for a service that my car did not need. A similar Ed Little Auto positive testimony applies to brake replacement: when Pep Boys previously told me that my car's brakes were "completely worn & needed replacing," Ed Little countered, saying that my brakes still had 45-60% of a useful life on them at that time in the past. Ed Little Auto's statement turned out to be true. Given the above, I would never advise getting any auto mechanic work done at any Pep Boys, ever. Both in my front tires situation and my front brakes situation, Ed Little Auto was correct in its omission of declaring front tires replacement (and omitting brakes replacement) in being necessary during communications to me, which saved me a lot of money. Had I taken the recommendations of Pep Boys, in both instances, I would have wasted money on services I didn't need.

We were then told by the sales staff that Hertz "does not work with" our credit union and that we would be required to use Hertz financing instead. We were told we could refinance later -- which would mean paying additional interest and fees that we had already avoided by securing our own financing. When we contacted Hertz Car Sales corporate through Facebook to confirm whether outside credit unions are allowed, we received a vague response saying our credit union "doesn't qualify," without any clear explanation of why or what criteria were used. This directly conflicts with what our credit union told us and mirrors what many other reviewers here have reported -- customers being pressured into dealer financing even when they already have funding in place. We were not asking for a discount, special pricing, or anything unusual -- only to use our own lender, which is standard practice at most dealerships. Refusing to accept outside financing effectively forces buyers into higher-cost loans and removes real choice from the transaction. We were ready to buy this car but ultimately walked away because we were not willing to take on unnecessary interest and fees just to complete the sale. We hope Hertz Car Sales corporate will review how they handle outside financing and credit unions, because this experience did not match the transparent, no-hassle process that Hertz advertises.
