What a great experience from start to finish, Chris and Richard of Konvoy Rentals were excellent hosts. I booked the Tesla Model 3 last weekend while I was in town for a wedding and loved every minute of it. Renting was quick and easy online and I opted for the local pick-up at their designated pick up spot. Chris was punctual and enthusiastic, he walked me through how to use the car, where to charge up and all the high tech functions. This was my first time ever driving a Tesla so all the new information was overwhelming but once you get behind the wheel it is fairly easy. The Tesla Model 3 was spotless from head to toe - black and wood interior with a pearl white exterior. Beautiful double panoramic roof and a massive center screen that controls everything in the car. The wedding I attended was in Fullerton so the auto-pilot is what stole the show. Funny thing is, on my first drive I actually got temporarily kicked out of auto-pilot because I kept forgetting to let the car know that I was paying attention (you need to squeeze/tap the steering wheel when the tablet flashes blue). Other than that everything went smoothly. Overall it was a great experience, Tesla created a very enjoyable driving experience (even in LA!), and the guys of Konvoy Rentals make renting one all too easy. I knew it was going to be good when someone picked up the phone right away. My family was heading to Las Vegas for a last minute weekend trip and decided to rent a nice car this time around. I have to be really emphatic about this, I had such an easy, and lovely trip due to the quick turnaround, extremely reasonable pricing and personal service experienced at Konvoy. I needed a car last minute, not only did I reach a person when calling, they gathered my details and arranged everything for me with such a quick turnaround. Even though I had no problems with my trip out of town, I called their hotline with some questions and instead of being met with a robo-queue I was immediately speaking with a person who answered all of my inquiries. Konvoy is the absolute best when it comes to renting a car! I rented their white Model 3 for a week and it was the easiest process to inquire, get a quote, rent, and return the car. Upon pickup for my first day of renting, I was warmly greeted and shown around the car. If you need to park your own vehicle to switch for the Tesla, there is a parking garage across the street that is a flat $6 to keep your car there. When I returned the Tesla, I was concerned about going over my allotted mileage, Chris then said "It's ok if it's a bit over, I want you to enjoy the experience of the car without worry." Every business owner should have this mindset when running a business! Truly all about the customer here! I also got a special "Founder's" card for renting so long. I rented a Tesla from Konvoy to surprise my husband as we drove up to Mammoth to celebrate our anniversary! It was the perfect ride for a long scenic road trip right as all the leaves were changing! I just sat down at my desk after returning the Tesla model X to Konvoy Tesla Rentals. As the Director of Scholarships at ArtCenter College of Design where the Telsa was designed, I can certainly say that this vehicle is hands down one of the best on the road today. I can't say enough about how amazing this experience was. Dick and Chris were phenomenal. I wanted to find a Tesla to rent for my son's 12th birthday and to drive to his soccer game. After doing a random Google search, I found Konvoy. I loved that they were in my back yard here in Pasadena. I didn't read any reviews on the company so I went in on blind faith! The communication was wonderful from beginning to end. The process was as seamless as you can imagine! When I came to pick up the vehicle, Dick brought it over and went over everything about the car. I rented from them this past weekend. They price matched a comparably similar (amount of reviews / location etc) 3 that I was originally planning to rent from Turo. I intended to rent the model 3 from Konvoy but apparently it had a battery issue last minute before I got there which was a bummer. Richard offered an X instead for the same price which was awesome. Tesla is about two things : electric drive and autonomous driving. Konvoy cars don't have the basic self driving package, which would be ok if they make that clear on their website, they don't. Personally I was surprised and disappointed. The customer service is great though and Chris made the car delivery experience personalized and fun.
