Upon picking up the car, I was quickly greeted and the car was clean and ready to go. There was only one person working when I returned the car and she was quick to acknowledge everyone and made the drop off process quick and efficient. Absolutely terrible experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car -- which is so disappointing because I had an amazing experience with them for a prior trip. Reserved a minivan for 2:30 PM, showed up on time, and was told there was a recall on minivans that they found out about that morning. No call, no warning--just wasted my time driving there when they easily could have notified customers in advance. The employee helping us, Miles, had zero urgency and was completely unhelpful. My friend and I had to tell him to call the mechanic, check on returning vehicles, and contact other locations--basically doing his job for him. Communication was inconsistent, and we kept getting different answers about vehicle availability. To make matters worse, Miles was rude and dismissive during our interactions, especially when we were trying to problem-solve under time pressure before closing. We were told to come back later, then got a last-minute call saying the vehicle was no longer available. We then booked cars through multiple other Enterprise locations, were told they were available, drove there--and guess what? Not available. This happened more than once including at an airport location. How and why does a company keep confirming reservations for cars that don't exist? The lack of communication, coordination, and basic customer service was shocking. This experience was a complete waste of time and incredibly stressful. I would not rely on this location--or their reservation system--if you actually need a guaranteed vehicle. read more

*update* spoke to manager and was very unhelpful. Did nothing to remedy the situation. Kept telling me he needs to talk to corporate and I keep telling him about this urgent matter and just seems like they don't care. There was never a sense of urgency or follow up. I had to call in 6 hours later myself to get an update, all for him to sound annoyed. NEVER BOOK FROM HERE OR ENTERPRISE IN GENERAL Booked a reservation with enterprise, luckily I called in. They had said "they are overbooked and no cars available". They also said that they looked all day to find the car I wanted when I had just booked the reservation 5 mins ago. To add insult to injury, they wanted to put me in a vehicle that's $60/day more than what I had originally booked for (standard elite), and then offered me in a vw Jetta just because it has leather seats when I originally booked for a luxury type vehicle like an Audi. When questioned why was I allowed to even book if they don't have any available, the answer I got was not sure they just like to overbook us. read more

I was impressed with the customer service and experience with this location. All of the staff I interacted with were very kind and a pleasure to speak with. They picked me up from an auto shop down the street and even dropped me off when I needed a ride. Overall i was such a smooth experience. I would use their services again. Before using the rental they even allow you to take note of any existing scratches or damage to the car so that you don't get charged when you bring it back. read more

Have used Enterprise off and on for years and always been satisified with their efficient no hassle service...but not this time. First I tried to book online but could not find a suitable car so I called this location directly. Call got picked up by someone with very poor english and after a torturous 15 min call of repeats and clarifications completed the reservation and was told they could pick me up in about an hour. I ubered! When I presented my Paypal co-branded Mastercard they refused it . It is a regular credit card that I have used for years at plenty of national stores and have never had it turned away. Momentarily taken aback I then realized that I had 2 virtual cards in the digital wallet on my Iphone. Not acceptable either! I then offered my Visa debit ..no again and ditto for a visa debit attached to the loc on my home. When I checked their website later most of these should have been totally acceptable. In the end they reluctantly agreed to give me a ride back home to pick up another card ( i brought 2 just in case) and the rental was completed. What should have taken about 20 mins wound up taking around an hour and 20 mins. Very disappointing and quite frankly I found the whole experience quite weird! read more

They always take care of me here! Be it rides or upgrades, this is my go to enterprise outside of the airport. The staff is always very kind and friendly. At times there may be a wait, but that's just the nature of the business. But It's typically fast, and easy. Just this last week they gave me an upgrade, and I was kinda distracted when I brought the car back, and the sweet lady that checked me in found my AirPod case in the car and gave it to me! I would've died wo it and not known where I lost it! Something new I guess they do, I needed a ride, I had an appointment. It was going to be 20 minutes for an enterprise ride. She gave me the option of taking Uber/Lyft, and reimbursing me with my deposit refund. I took this option and made my appointment on time. Way to offer great customer service! I really hate when companies waste your time when you're spending money at their business. Long time Enterprise renter, mainly for work related meetings (my partner works overnight at hospital so occasionally I'll rent a car), and I use my business debit card for the expense (both I and my work location are .5 mile from this location) Had an important meeting early morning Wednesday, called in to reserve car for pick up the day before. Showed up to my appt, but then told by Shawn(or something idk) that I couldn't rent without a credit card. When I questioned him about it, then he said that I could rent but I had to be local. Then when I said I was local he said he needed my paystubs and utility bill (I did show them these things my first time renting, when I said that - he said I had to do it every time I rented....what? I asked to speak to a manager, and he said he was the manager (I doubt that. It's ok I'm going to follow up with corporate and will confirm that tomorrow). I'm sure it's no skin off your back to have random requirements (I can't help but feel like I was being discriminated against) and to waste a customers time, as most car rental places were closed by the time I found out the random rule. But this was super messed up, and now I'll be paying $100 on Uber fees. Thanks. Enterprise plus member, but never use Enterprise again. read more

I just returned a car to this Enterprise Pasadena location this evening and everything was smooth and pleasant from start to finish! A month ago I got into a car accident and my car had to be towed to a collision center. My insurance company GEICO let me rent a car from any Enterprise locations near my house. Initially I had a reservation at a different location, but since they had a bit unfortunate reviews on Yelp, I thought I would give this Pasadena location a try. And I'm happy I made that decision! The customer service provided at this location is SUPERB! They have a wide selection of cars and trucks, and my representative let me choose a car I liked, and explained everything clearly before I signed. It was such a easy, smooth process! By the way, I picked a Nissan Sentra and it was such a great car ;) Today I went back there to return the car, and again, it was a quick, easy process with fantastic customer service. I am not even sure where to begin...also why can't I give 0 stars?! If you give them your credit card, beware...they may charge you out of the blue and have no way to reverse it...... This particular location has pretty terrible customer service. They don't seem to have any idea how to actually run the branch at this location. I had to take my car into the dealership for a recall, and they sent me to enterprise to rent a car. There was soooo much back and forth with them and enterprise was almost refusing to rent me a car because THEY couldn't get a hold of Hyundai. I should have known there would be an issue at that moment. I rented the car and returned it to Hyundai. Then, 3 months later...without an email or phone call of any sort...they charge me $200! I call and they told me, Hyundai didn't pay us, so we charged you. Are you kidding me?!!? How is this ok or allowed?! Apparently Hyndai paid the wrong Enterprise?! Soooo they just charged me instead. Ridiculous. THENNNN Hyundai finally paid them and Enterprise told me I HAD TO CALL AMERICAN EXPRESS TO DO A REVERSAL!! Weeks later I still did not get a refund from Enterprise! This is the worst car rental place experience. They wanted me to pay for damage that was written down on previous rental agreements. I told them the damage was already there. When I first rented the car, all the cars were a foot away from each other and it was not noticeable due to unable to lean down and check the bottom. Trying to be honest I told them about the damage on delivery, now they want me to pay for it. I asked for the previous 3 rental agreements, it was listed as existing damage on previous rental agreements before I got the car. Very dishonest and people and not willing to listen even though the damage was marked down before. Renter beware check your entire car, if they want to rush you and have you pay for other people's damage. read more

I left some items behind in a rental car glove compartment and when I realized the error I called this location and asked them to retrieve the items and to hold them for me. The employee I spoke with said he was holding onto them personally when in reality he just dumped them in a lost and found box (one of them was a work badge I need to gain access to my office). A week later, I go to retrieve the items and one of them was stolen because apparently they let anyone just take whatever they want from the lost and found box. The one item I lost is irreplaceable by the way, so thanks for that Enterprise. I understand I am at fault for leaving the items in the first place but a little more communication next time would be appreciated? Tell me that you're just dumping my stuff in a box and letting anyone comb through it and take whatever they want. That way I'll know to take my business elsewhere. This is the only recourse I have so forgive me if you've read this far and you're annoyed I'm not talking about their actual rental car service. One more thing I forgot, the employee working there the day I tried to retrieve the items offered me a pair of ray-bans as an exchange? What the hell is going on over there? Isn't that the exact same thing that happened to me? Did you give someone my item to cover for some screw up you made earlier? Needed to rent an SUV to help my elderly, disabled neighbor move and comfortably drive her to her family's in Sacramento. I live closer to the Alhambra Enterprise, But chose to come to this one because I had a bad experience there a few months ago and the service was terrible. I reserved my car, was called that morning to confirm, and when I got there was offered two options, had polite and efficient service, completely no-hassle. The price quote was fair and with unlimited mileage. Awesome. It was the quickest I think I've ever gotten out of a rental car place! Returning the car was just as easy and even faster. This location is in a convenient location, but a bit tricky to navigate to. Wayz blew me right past it. Just know it's on the corner of Glenarm and Fair Oaks. The woman at the desk was very nice but I thought it was pretty tacky that they waited to vacuum and wash it until after I arrive and had gone through the rental process. Maybe that's customary with this location, or maybe they were just short staffed as she was covering the phone, the check out process, and detailing the car. Seems odd. Fortunately there wasn't a big line of people ether. If more than one or two people had to wait for the car to be prepared it would have turned the process into quite an ordeal. Very bad service! If I can rate them a minus I would!! The car given to me never got cleaned up. On top of that, there was a smoking smell in the car. I pointed it out to them but they said they didn't smell it. I had to switch the car with a different enterprise location. Don't go there. Totally unprofessional! Edit: Dylan the branch manager did apologize to me at the end and wanted to make up for the inconvenience. I have been going to this particular branch for approximately two years. This enterprise is by far the best experience I have ever had when it comes to renting a car. When I first came in, the employees were Sandy, Jen, and Tiffany. I love them! They went through hoops, and twirls, and whatever they had to do to make me happy. I mostly dealt with Sandy, and she was just phenomenal! she always made me laugh. I hear that she has been promoted in another branch. I will miss you all so very much, but there's a new team... Justin, Austin, and Chris. I think everyone gets comfortable in their ways, so I was shocked when I realized these were three completely different people that didn't know me, and I didn't know them. I thought for sure the customer service would change, but it was just the same.... phenomenal.... above and beyond my expectations. I dealt with Austin primarily, and he was just amazing! I had a quick conversation on the phone with Justin when I thought I would be late, and he really calmed my nerves down. What a sweetheart!
