I don't usually leave reviews for a dealership, but I had to recognize the excellent customer service I received from Stephanie at the Tesla Service Center in Long Beach. Please keep these 5 star employees of the company. I've been trying to replace the front window regulators on my Model X, and apparently not every Tesla Service Center keeps these parts in stock. A mechanic suggested I try the Montebello location, so I called to see if they had them before making the drive. Unfortunately, I was told they couldn't check inventory or contact the parts department and that I needed to go online. Wanting to make sure I got the right parts, I stopped by the Long Beach Service Center instead. Even though I didn't have an appointment, Stephanie went above and beyond to help. She took the time to check inventory, ask around, and made sure I was able to get both of my window regulators. She was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. That level of customer service is hard to find these days, and she's exactly the kind of employee Tesla should value. Thank you again, Stephanie, for making what could've been a frustrating experience a great one. read more

Tesla - Car Dealers Near Me - Long Beach, California

BEWARE! This is by far, the worst experience I've ever had in a car dealership. This TESLA location 1800 E Spring St Long Beach, CA 90755 United States Has the worst employees working there starting from the front desk reps to the site manager. My car was towed there due to the high voltage battery dying completely after 3 years of purchase. I was unable to gather my belongings since the car was dead. I had a pair of high end GUCCI sunglasses worth $459, inside the arm rest hidden compartment. I couldn't get them or any of my belongings when the car was towed. I picked up my car after 3 weeks of them "replacing the battery" and the first thing I noticed when I opened my door was that all my belongings were moved and the GUCCI glasses were gone! When I walked to the rep and let him know my glasses were missing, he said I might have them at home and I should ask my husband. What?! He kept making it seem like I lost them elsewhere, making sarcastic remarks. He said he would ask the technician. He came back and said the technician said "he didn't take them". Then he said people make claims all the time. He was so nonchalant. I asked to see the manager and he said "sorry". Then he said I should have taken all my belongings. I explained to him that the car was locked due to the battery being dead and just stood there saying "sorry, the technician said he didn't take them". I am so disappointed at these people. Those glasses have a sentimental value aside from the price paid and I cannot believe I had to go through this. read more

I have owned my 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance, and unfortunately, my experience has been one problem after another. The car was delivered to me with the dashboard not fully connected. I then discovered that the driveshaft from the rear motor to the rear wheels had not been properly coupled, causing loud and concerning noises during both acceleration and deceleration. Most recently, the clear coat on the rear spoiler completely delaminated. This is a problem that numerous other Model Y owners have reported, and Tesla has repaired these cases under warranty. However, just 24 hours before my scheduled service appointment, Tesla's LB service center informed me that they considered it "normal wear and tear" and would charge me the full cost of the repair. That is extremely disappointing. A vehicle should not be delivered with improperly assembled components, develop drivetrain-related issues, and then have a known cosmetic defect denied as a warranty issue simply because Tesla chooses to classify it as wear and tear. The biggest issue isn't even that things went wrong. Mechanical and manufacturing defects can happen. It is how Tesla handled them. After multiple problems with the vehicle, being presented with a full-price repair for a clearly documented issue that other owners have had repaired under warranty left a very bad impression. For a vehicle at this price point, I expected significantly better quality control and, more importantly, better customer support when problems arise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tesla or the Model Y Performance. read more

Charged me for a repair covered by Tesla's own 12-month parts warranty, then denied my printed right to inspect before payment. Tesla's Long Beach service center replaced my Model Y's front aero shield on June 2 after the original lasted 4.5 years. Ten weeks later, the brand-new shield came loose during normal driving. No impact, no debris. Tesla's own invoice states that parts installed by Tesla Service carry a 12-month Parts, Body and Paint Repair Limited Warranty. A Tesla-installed part failing at 10 weeks is a warranty claim. Instead, they charged me $287 for a second replacement. Their entire investigation was a lift check and the phrase "all the bolts were secure." When I asked what evidence ruled out an installation defect, they admitted they had none. No photos, no torque records, no documented finding of external damage. They denied warranty coverage anyway. Then it got worse. The invoice states, verbatim, "You have the right to inspect your vehicle on Tesla premises prior to payment." When I asked to exercise that right, staff said they had never heard of it and refused. I paid under protest. I kept the removed shield, as the invoice allows. It shows stress fractures radiating from the bolt holes, consistent with over-torqued fasteners cracking the panel at installation. Photos and video are preserved. And this is a car I bought Tesla's Extended Service Agreement for. A 10-week part failure billed at full price, a warranty ignored, zero diagnostic evidence, and a customer right printed on their own paperwork denied to my face. Escalating to regional management and the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair (ARD #ARD00310085). read more

Tesla - My car - Car Dealers Near Me - Long Beach, California

Extremely disappointed, since my experience with Tesla service centers has effectively been stellar until now. My Car battery (that is still under warranty) died on the highway. I had it towed to the dealership and parked in their lot. The next business day I went to check and see that everything was okay. They said they won't hold the car until the part comes without charging me $100/day for storage fees (and no promise that they don't just have it towed to impound). They told me I had to somehow power the car with the dead battery to tow it away from the service center for 15+ days...just to tow it back...because they didn't want to keep it on their lot while they waited for the replacement parts to arrive. Horrendous service posture. Even the tow truck driver got the runaround from them. They parked a car right in front of mine during this ordeal, fully knowing the tow truck driver needed to maneuver in front of me. When the tow truck driver contacted them, they said they would [para] "be out in a minute to move it". (spolier alert, they never came out to move the car) We spent over an hour fighting the car trying to get my car into tow mode. The service staff didn't help when the tow truck driver requested assistance. After he asked them again, they gave him an already dead jump kit. Finally, we got the car on the tow truck...all while having to deal with the other Tesla that was STILL parked in its way (the tow truck driver and I had to manually push/pull/reverse/wiggle my car around the other car to get it to a spot from which the tow truck could pull). The tow truck driver was extremely patient, apologetic, and visibly irritated with the service center. By the end of it, we were both shaking our heads. Just due to this absolutely horrendous experience, my next car will likely not be a Tesla and will likely steer friends and family towards other brands. It's obvious this service center has been instructed to no longer care about their customer base. As others have said; if I could give a place 0 stars, this service center would be the perfect candidate. I switched to my appointment to another service center. They were in disbelief and extremely apologetic; saying that should have never happened. The new service center actually called me to figure out where my car was because they wanted to keep an eye on it while they waited for the parts to come in, thinking I may have dropped it off at THEIR lot. They effectively confirmed what I thought...any logical human being would drop their car off at a service center if it was having catastrophic issues and the service center would be more than happy to accept the car immediately. The difference in customer service has already been day and night. This Long Beach service center should be ashamed of themselves; Tesla should be embarrassed to even have their name tied to it. read more

We had a great experience at Tesla thanks to Eddie! From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly helpful. He took the time to walk us through the model we were interested in and made sure we understood all of its features . We also ran into some issues with the Tesla app, and Eddie was quick to troubleshoot and get everything working for us. His patience and excellent customer service really stood out. The test drive itself was amazing--the driving experience exceeded our expectations and made us even more excited about Tesla. Helped me with my Tesla, loaned me a car. Everything was fast and customer service was great!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The service department is completely incompetent. I paid over $7,000 for repairs on my Tesla Model Y, and the entire experience was frustrating from start to finish. First, I was told the diagnostic would take about 24 hours. Instead, it took over 72 hours with little communication or explanation. Second, I was told I could pick up my vehicle after hours from the overflow lot if needed. When I arrived, my car had been locked behind the service gates, making it impossible to retrieve until the next day. Because of their mistake, I had to pay for additional Uber rides. To make matters worse, after picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed a parking sensor obstruction warning that had never appeared before my service appointment. When I contacted them, instead of taking responsibility and inspecting the issue, they argued with me for 15 minutes and then refused to look at it unless I paid another $275 for a diagnostic on a problem they likely caused. After spending over $7,000, I expected professionalism, accountability, and quality work. Instead, I received poor communication, wasted time, additional expenses, and a new problem with my vehicle. I would not recommend this service center to anyone. read more

Warning: Be extremely cautious with this service department. I went in for a simple tire rotation, and after the service my car began making a loud noise that was not present before. When I returned, I was told that a suspension bushing needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,600, which felt very questionable given the timing. I also paid $300 to have a broken visor replaced. When the car was returned to me, the mirror/visor mount was loose and visibly breaking. When I pointed this out, the staff claimed they did not cause the damage and said they never touched that area--despite having just replaced the visor. Overall, this experience felt dishonest and careless. I would not trust this service department and do not recommend them. read more

Well, I have to thank TESLA for helping me manifest on VDAY! Because I put it into the UNIVERSE that I wanted to get out my HONDA contract to get a TESLA! I talked to a cute Tesla sales rep about it and he heard me out and he really took me into consideration! Xoxo Because yesterday I was able to BUY MY 2023 TESLA MODEL 3 4D BLACK ON BLACK! Yezzzzir! Finally! It took 5-6 months to manifest this because I did have a 2023 HONDA CIVIC S HATCHBACK, in which a car T-BONED me and totaled my car while I was driving for LYFT! They paid for the rest of the contracted price I owed so I got out of the loan! Making it easy for me to buy another car!! For the last 3 months I had my old college car a Corolla meanwhile I hunted for a car and couldn't find anythinggggg so it was meant to be with this car! Super satisfying and I hope to be coming into this dealership to learn more and register for the Tesla insurance next month! My car still has warranty too so we're good! 5 Stars - Best Car Pickup Experience Ever! Just picked up my brand-new 2026 Tesla Model Y at Tesla Long Beach and it was an absolute dream from start to finish! The entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely excited for me -- they made the whole delivery feel special and stress-free. They walked me through every detail of the car, showed off all the new 2026 features, answered every single question (and I had a lot!), and had everything perfectly prepped and ready to go. The Model Y looked stunning, was fully charged, spotless inside and out, and even had that fresh "new Tesla" smell. Handover was quick, smooth, and they even helped set up my phone key and transfer everything from my old car right there. Tesla Long Beach really nailed the premium experience -- no lines, no hassle, just pure excitement the moment I drove off the lot. If you're picking up a Tesla anywhere in the LA/Orange County area, this is THE place to do it. Worth every bit of the wait for my new Model Y. Best decision I've made all year! I now understand all of the one star reviews on this Tesla service center. Oh, where to begin... My 2020 model Y just ended warranty (of course) And our back seat seatbelt latch, conveniently went out. You would think since it's a safety feature, it would still be covered. But oh no. It was not. There was also this very slight clicking noise happening in my steering column. My car was at the Tesla Huntington Beach location, where they checked the brakes, shocks and struts and all the suspension and it checked out fine with no needed repairs. They told me that I needed to take it to the creak specialist down in Long Beach. So I did as told. While getting my seatbelt repaired, I had them check out that weird creak and they called me to tell me that I needed a $3000 front suspension repair. My jaw dropped. I proceeded to tell them that I was just at Tesla Huntington Beach a few weeks ago and they checked out all of my front and suspension and they said there was no repairs needed. So Tesla Long Beach sent me photos. I declined the front suspension repairs as I needed to get a second opinion on this. Seemed super sketchy to me. I go to pick up my car AND THEY REPLACED THE WRONG BELT! So I proceeded back to the front desk and told them and they went to check with the technician on what communication went wrong. I guess the technician told them that my middle seatbelt was ALSO broken and that I would need to pay to get the correct seatbelt fixed again, so paying twice. I said absolutely not. And demanded to see the "broken" middle seatbelt. So they bring out the middle seatbelt and guess what, it worked just fine! SOO shady! I take my Tesla to another mechanic for the second opinion on the front suspension and guess what.... everything on my front end looked fantastic. There was no needed repairs whatsoever, just Like the Tesla Huntington Beach location said. I proceeded to show the other mechanic the photos of the suspension that Tesla had sent me of my car and he didn't even think it was the same car. This location is such a SCAM! So I am writing to warn you. Beware Will never return to this location. read more

If I could give Tesla and perhaps this Tesla Long Beach location a 0 star rating I would. My partner and I had long wanted an EV - Tesla in particular. Kids in college kept us away due to budget constraints. Finally, between lower expenses and bonuses we were in the ballpark. My problem is that the Tesla website said a LR Model 3 was available on a lease at a payment that could work. To get the process started you have to pay a non refundable $250 application fee. Ok we were serious. The problem is that with Tesla Long Beach I was essentially given what seemed like a "bait and switch". - "the car we wanted was not available in grey, but we can switch you to LR in red for $2,000 more. Ok we can live we can live with that. - after a while in the process I message that what are the numbers because the lease calculator is coming up with something the is unworkable - too $$$. - no response just prompts to complete the process. - finally, we finished the application and the car is to expensive versus what website advertised. Tesla response was that the car they advertised and we want was "unavailable". Once we flipped to the "identical red car" it was a different model. Seems classic bait and switch scheme. I canceled the sale but they kept $250 application fee and sent me and charge me $250 for the charger I don't need - and was part of the order" Punk move after punk move from these guys. Call me sore but I'm a shareholder and believer. This sales group needs to grow up and learn how to sell instead of just run credit cards. read more

My son and I came to Tesla to check out the cars. We really liked how the cars looked very modern and sleek. The inside of the car was very comfortable and roomy. My son wanted to test drive a car, so we walked inside the lobby and started looking around the vehicles that were on display in the showroom and we started checking out the different model types. We saw a sales associate helping a couple with some type of transactions and we just kept looking around when finally the sales associate stepped away from the couple for a minute and told us that she would be able to help us after she was done helping the couple. So we waited for 20 minutes and we didn't get helped and we noticed that the sales associate that said she was going to help us was now helping another couple that just came back from a test drive. We patiently waited some more but when we saw that the sales associate was still too busy to help us we decided that we were just going to leave, it was getting late and close to closing time that we thought we weren't going to be getting any help anymore. We started to walk out the double sliding doors when the sales associate ran after us, she did apologize for taking long but we thought that since it was already late that we weren't going to be able to do a test drive but the sales associate did let my son do the test drive. He filled out a form on the tablet and we were given the choice to test drive whichever car my son wanted. The sales associate asked my son if he wanted her to run the numbers after he came back or if he only wanted to do the test drive and my son responded that he did wanted to get the numbers run to see about purchasing a Tesla. After we came back from the test drive , my son wanted more information about the car because the sales associate did offer to run the numbers but after we came back she was busy helping another couple so then another employee saw us waiting, he approached us and gave us the information that we needed. My experience coming to this Tesla dealership is that I feel like that's cool that they don't try to pressure you to buy a car or that they're not on you like other dealerships, which I really do appreciate that. However, if the sales associate says that they will help you after they're done helping other guests guests not to keep you waiting because you told another couple that you will help them right after they come back from a test drive and run their numbers. I think that if he or she is still going to be too busy helping others that the courteous thing to do is to let your guests know that you will get someone else to help out instead of making us wait yet again. I don't know if it was because it was almost at the end of the day that maybe there weren't that many employees and that's the reason why we didn't get the help that we needed right away, but other than that when the employees did talk to us, they did talk to us in a very friendly and very knowledgeable manner. I give this dealership three stars because of all the unnecessary waiting we ended up doing. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the way this Tesla service center handles warranty issues. I brought in my Model Y for what is clearly a factory-related defect, yet they flat-out refused to cover it under warranty. Instead, they tried to turn it into a paid repair, doing everything possible to make money off something Tesla should be responsible for. They even tried to convince me that the problem was my fault -- but a brief bit of research shows this is a known issue that originates from Tesla's own manufacturing. That kind of behavior feels deceptive and unethical. This experience has made me seriously reconsider Tesla as my car of choice for the future. The company's service model seems more focused on avoiding warranty responsibility than standing behind its products. If this is how Tesla treats loyal owners, I can't recommend buying one to anyone. read more

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an experience I recently had at one of your locations involving a manager named Timetris. I visited your dealership with genuine interest in experiencing a demo drive, as I have been considering transitioning to an electric vehicle and have heard great things about Tesla. My intention was to learn more about the vehicles firsthand and potentially move toward making a purchase decision. However, upon arrival, I was denied the opportunity for a demo drive. The manager, Timetris, stated that demo drives are only offered to individuals who are "in the market" to purchase. What was frustrating is that this assumption was made without any meaningful conversation about my intentions or interest level. As a potential first-time customer, the demo drive was exactly the experience I needed to determine whether Tesla was the right fit for me. Being turned away based on an assumption rather than an actual discussion felt dismissive and unwelcoming. It left me disappointed, especially given Tesla's reputation for innovation and customer experience. I believe that opportunities like demo drives should be used to engage potential customers, not exclude them. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect the level of service I expected. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed, and I hope steps can be taken to ensure that future customers are treated with more openness and consideration. Generally, Tesla buying experience was seamless. No haggling, less time wasted. BUT! The craftsmanship of this car is inconsistent, and the quality control is non-existent! I have had Japanese and German cars, and never have I encountered a really poorly made vehicle (at least the assembly). I never owned an American made car because of poor quality build- not all but most. My Y was built in Fremont, CA. In terms of technology and performance, Tesla delivers. Buyer Beware! Before you sign the paperwork, at least go check your vehicle first. This is the catch-22 that Tesla is doing to their customers. If you find discrepancy on quality build, you cannot tell them to correct it because technically you don't own the vehicle yet. After you sign the paperwork, rep will then tell you to open a service ticket! and now... you are at their scheduling mercy and falling into the abyss of service department nightmare. My issue is not primarily with Tesla- Long Beach but Tesla's delivery policy. I had a paint chip on the front passenger fender, misaligned front passenger door, and misaligned tail-lights. I had no choice but to accept delivery and open a service ticket for all these issues to be addressed on a later date. Very Frustrating. Lastly, delivery person who does vehicle orientation was not very informative. Customers should be briefed with basic vehicle function. Heck! dunno how to open the front trunk nor do I know how to start the vehicle (yup, jokes on me I guess). In fairness, this is my first EV. read more
