THIS REVIEW IS FOR VISUAL SNOW TREATMENT: I first started seeing Dr Tsang in May of 2022. I'd been diagnosed with visual snow syndrome two years prior. When I had the first onset of VSS, I didn't know how I could live with the condition. I fully understood how some people on message boards said they were suicidal. I did a lot of my own research, changed my diet and had come as far as I could on my own without a lot of support or understanding from the medical community. One doctor told me I should stop searching & join an online support group. Another doctor in NY, who claims to have VSS herself, said she never met anyone who got rid of 90%of the symptoms. I am proof that this condition can go from severely detrimental to just a mere inconvenience with the right treatment. When I first got VSS, I could not see. There was a bright, loud static in front of everything. I was terrified. I was having panic attacks and fainting. The "floaters", which looked like spiders, were unbearable & nearly opaque black. As time passed, they got lighter on their own but were so persistent in my vision that I wore sunglasses to cancel them out, even indoors and especially under fluorescent lighting. After having VSS for two years, the migraines weren't as frequent, the floaters had become more translucent grey than black, and the static was faint. But I had an odd sense of confusion around spatial awareness & balance, increased grey floaters & increased static whenever I'd get sick, stressed or after receiving the Covid vaccine. I called them flare ups and once they increased, they'd hang around for around 2 months. My goal in seeing Dr Tsang was to become more resilient to flare ups, bouncing back quicker. I didn't know she would be able to make my life as good as it's gotten. After doing in-person & Zoom rehab regularly with Dr Tsang for about four months & then more infrequently for about 3 more months, I saw incredible progress. 1). Ability to bounce back to a baseline quicker after "flare ups" 2). Severely lessened appearance of floaters 3). Eliminated feeling of head pressure or fullness 4). Restored balance & spatial awareness 5). Able to go under fluorescent & sunlight w/o sunglasses. 6). Bonus: my vision & focus are crazy sharp now, so I can read much better I'm sure there are many things I'm forgetting but mainly, Dr Tsang has a program that works. It's very hard to describe because I just don't understand how it works! It just does. One of the most effective parts is the use of colored glasses worn daily for 10 minutes outdoors (I stuck my head out a window each day for months! Or sat in the yard). I think it's called Syntonic light therapy but don't quote me on that. I almost immediately stated noticing a tolerance for light that I just didn't have before & less head pressure. She incorporated a holistic approach, conditioning my body to relax while doing the eye exercises and more importantly, she gave me hope that there are ways to get better from VSS. I recently had a flare up and she sent me new glasses for a 10 day cycle where I did the light therapy with my head out the window, because I started seeing floaters again after an increase in stress around Christmas. It is still shocking to me that it worked to make them much less noticeable again. This review only brushes the surface on my gratitude for her and her staff.

Excellent examination. Highest quality. Really spends time to discuss best treatment options for my kids' vision.

I came across this place and after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Communication started via email by inquiring if they accept my insurance. They do, and they advised me when on the soonest I could make an appointment (when my 1 year since the last appointment is reached). I went ahead and made an appointment for my comprehensive eye exam and they emailed me the necessary forms (new patient, etc.) to complete prior to my appointment day. Reponse time was quick! Fast forward to appointment day (today). I walked in and was greeted by a friendly person at the desk who accepted my completed forms. I waited for a short period of time then I was called up to do the usual testing (peripheral vision, etc.) on the machines. She also did a iWellness Retina Exam (optional, additional fee, pretty cool to see a cross section of your eyeballs) to assess the health of my eye. I didn't catch her name, but the person who helped me was very friendly and helped me feel at ease. Once the tests were done, I was walked over to the neighboring room for the comprehensive eye exam with the optometrist. The optometrist who saw me, Sophia, was awesome! She's very knowledgeable (as she should be) and answered all the questions that I had. She provided helpful information to take care of my eyes and my Meibomian glands. Thorough, friendly, and professional are just a few of the many words that could describe her. I can imagine parking might be difficult during lunch time on the weekdays, but anytime before or after should be OK. They are closed every Sunday and tuesday. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a forever optometrist!

I would highly recommend coming here for LASIK. As someone very scared of anything having to do with my eyes, I felt very safe in his care and being able to see 20/20 is life changing!

When I went in for a consult, I was unfortunately not a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. Feinerman suggested another procedure called EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) that I was a good fit for. Despite the higher cost compared to LASIK, I was totally on board. I scheduled my surgery appointment afterwards and I was given instructions on how to prepare for the procedure (I had to put eye drops in beforehand). The surgery center Dr. Feinerman used was in Tustin (Barranca Surgery Center). I had a very early appointment and I didn't have to wait too long. The procedure took what felt like 10 minutes, but could have been way longer (the anesthesia worked like a charm!). I had my sister drive me home, there is no way you should try to drive yourself home after getting this done!! Immediately after the surgery, my vision had a noticeable improvement, with sensitivity to light. Over the next 3 months, my vision stabilized and I don't have dry eyes as often anymore. Dr. Feinerman and his entire team were a pleasure to interact with. Totally recommend this place!!
