The only reason I have not cancelled my Terminix service is because of Mr. Bobby. He is always pleasant and friendly and provides me with the best service. He knows that I always want the inside of my house serviced so he doesn't even ask anymore. He just does it to avoid a call back. He will ask if I am having any problems and will immediately address any concerns I have. One time Bobby could not make it for my appointment and another technician showed up. For the price .. not the best coverage of chewed areas. Came out to get rid of possums and animals in the attic. Cleaned out area upstairs. Good job with that but left pieces of roof chewed on not covered. At least cover the damaged and exposed areas. Called and messaged but no one came to check on the repairs. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. Do NOT hire them to exclude bats from your home. We had them come out in October 2024 because we had bats IN our home watching TV with us in the evenings!! They closed up the entry points at that time. Their service warranty states for 1 year they will return for any new invasions. On June 9th we were once again visited by bats watching TV with us IN our den. We called Terminix on June 10th. They canceled the first appointment because of the weather and did not reschedule. We had to call and request another appointment. They sent someone out on the 19th but not the correct personnel. The guys came called Brandon Torres (their supervisor) and asked them to send the correct crew. He said it would be taken care of. We called the company and asked for this to be escalated to a manager. Their definition of escalating something is a supposed response in 24 to 48 house. In our case still waiting. We received a text stating someone would be here on the 30th, that appointment mysteriously disappeared. After multiple calls they scheduled someone for July 3rd. I asked them to make sure the correct people were assigned. The call center is worthless all they have is a name and no way to know what services they provide. On July 3rd they send another person ( an inspector) not the people to close up the house. It is now July 7th no call from the company and no one scheduled to correct the problem. We have personally removed 11 bats from our house. These people do not take care of their customers after receiving payment. If we could give them a zero we would. We have been a customer of theirs since 2002. Not anymore. read more

*AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS* They're the shadiest and most deceptive group of people I have ever met. I had a water leak that caused mold that then attracted roaches behind a wall, so in a hurry to get all the issues resolved ASAP, I called the biggest name in exterminators, that's Terminix. They will come out and go above and beyond to upsell you and get you to sign up for everything they offer whether you need it or not even after their own reports state that you have no activity requiring treatment. I wound up getting the pest treatment for the roaches and termite prevention and agreed to have the exclusion done, paid $302 for what I thought was a deposit or down payment and only found out a month later that it was simply a "fee" and there's no details of what the fee is for, it's just a few according to their customer service people. Now I've called them back 3 times over the course of that month and asked for an explanation of what I'm paying for, what I owe, and how much it costs to pay this all off and be done with this company and they keep telling me every time that a manager will call me in 24-48 hours, even when I call back after not receiving that call I get told to wait for the call in 24-48 hours or just call back.... Yeah, avoid the hassle and DO NOT do business with Terminix. read more

I recently contacted Terminix to address a termite problem; they did their inspection and gave me a quote of $2600.00, I had the inspector go over the contract line by line and asked him on three occasions was everything correct, he indicated yes. I later signed the contract (online), and when I attempted to download it another contract downloaded that wasn't for my home. When I advised the inspector, he corrected the download, but now the quote was $5,800.00, a $3200.00 difference because he stated he made a mistake on the measurements. I advised the inspector that the contract had been reviewed and signed by us both and that they immediately drafted my account for a deposit of $1,100.00 and that the contract was consummated, he stated that he would NOT HONOR the contract that we both had signed, and I had paid for. In retrospect I believe this was standard operating procedure for Terminix it was a classic BAIT AND SWITCH. And to add insult to injury they held my funds for 7 days, if it were possible to add 0 stars I would. read more

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. I have been battling a pest control issue with Terminix since May. After the first visit, I called for a follow-up because the problem had not gotten any better. They told me I only got one visit between my quarterly visits and that I should use that one visit wisely. I waited a couple more weeks and called them back out. That's when I learned the other information was a lie, you can actually have them come out as often as needed (theoretically). I requested the technician come out a 3rd time but he arrived an hour late (without letting me know he'd be late) and then told me he didn't have time that day so I would need to schedule another visit. I emptied my entire kitchen so that we could hopefully eradicate these pests once and for all and I scheduled the 4th visit. However, the next available appointment wasn't until 3:00-5:00pm on July 17th, which was another week away. I called on Friday 14th and asked Brittany to have a supervisor call me. She said a supervisor would call me on Monday. No one ever called. Daniel Melchor, my technician, also never even bothered to show up for the appointment scheduled on July 17th. He didn't even send me a message letting me know he wouldn't make it. I left work early to be here just for him to "no-call, no-show". I called Terminix again and spoke to Jennifer who said she would try to call him and find out where he is, after waiting on hold for a while, the call was disconnected. I called back AGAIN and spoke to Christian and again the call dropped. I still have not gotten a call from a supervisor. I still have not heard from Daniel Melchor. My kitchen has was empty and unusable for a month before I finally went on my own to get a variety of different treatments to try and solve the problem myself. TERMINIX IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

EXTREMELY upset with this company, and especially upset with this location . We got charged for 7 months worth of services after we canceled our service with them. We have been trying to contact them for reimbursement since then and coincidentally can never get ahold of the manager, Chris. Won't return phone calls, we even went to the branch and weren't able to speak to anyone. We have spoken to multiple customer service representatives on the customer care line and every time we talk, they tell us that we can't be reimbursed without the branch managers approval. If I could give 0 stars I would. We paid $2600 for them to do a total inclusion on our house because of rats. They put out sticky traps. They caught 2-3, we have had them back so many times because the rats were only in our attic, when they first came out then they didn't seal up certain areas outside our house "after I showed them" then they got in the house. Getting into food, containers, anything whether it is edible or not. They came back sealed up the hole, but then it got worse. They came back and didn't find a new place where they were coming in. They chewed through a brand new double sealed Rubbermaid Ice chest. Now even if we put everything up a night they find something to chew up, my brand new backpack, hand lotion, olive oil, plants. We have lost I don't know how much in food and containers, it is unbelievable. I turned them into the BBB, and the company claimed my 76 year old husband was threatening, which is such a lie, as 90% of the time they dealt with me. Now we are trying poison and trapping, but have to be careful of our little dog. Please do not use this company!! The worst company I have ever used. read more

When confronting them about it, the guy in the Cancelation department called me a "jerk", when I told him that I would get a lawyer if not getting a refund. We had Cesar Rodriguez at our house on Sept 1, 2023. He informed us we had termites and needed their service. He wrote up a service agreement and submitted. He also indicated we had ants and would need the treatment which could be done at the same time. The technician, Jose came on Sept 6, 2023 to provide the treatment. He asked where the termites were found, I proceed to show him at which time he said "you do not have termites, if you did there would be damage. You do not have damage and I do not see any active termites." Jose did not treat our house for termites and saved me $2900. I APPRECIATE JOSE - he deserves a 5 star rating. - onto the second half of the issue - I called the national phone on Sept 6, Sept 7, Sept 11 and today, Sept 12th. I have yet to speak with a manager. I was told today a manager attempted to call us on Sept 7 and left a message - if they did, they did not call the correct phone number. My husband nor I have any message from Terminix. I was also told today my third escalation was submitted, however, they have another 48 business hours to call us. So after the first two escalations and waiting 48 business hours for each escalation, I have to wait another 48 hours. Seems to me, if Terminix truly cared about my issue, I should have an immediate phone call from a manager. I have used the services of Terminix for more than two years now without issue, however I have recently began experiencing administrative issues with the Terminix branch in Webster, TX. I have reached out to Terminix SEVERAL times since May 8, 2023 for a resolution concerning an unapplied payment to my account, to no avail. I have only been able to speak with the customer service rep. who escalated to the service manager (Brandon) and branch manager (Chris)for them to reach out to me to resolve the issue within 24-48 hours. I have not heard from ANYONE at the branch, although they have erroneously closed out my account stating I requested it, which I did NOT and then sent the cancellation via email still without reaching out to me!!! They don't seem to care!!! After over 2 years of providing mosquito service at my Galveston beach house when I was not there, I discovered that on 7/6/21, Mack Moseley performed the service in the rain. That is completely unacceptable and made me question how many other times that had happened. I blamed the terrible mosquito presence on the area. After an unsatisfactory phone call with Mack, I spoke to Tom in Retention and canceled all my services. I requested a refund for the service and he said I must speak to the Webster branch manager. I spoke with Reginald on 7/7/21 who assured me he would issue a refund. HE DID NOT! I disputed the credit card charge and Terminix provided the false documentation that Mack emailed to me saying my service was performed. BEWARE! Same issue as Heather W. We paid $1600.00 to have Terminix help us with our our rat problem. They did come and seal off the house and set traps in attic and in other areas in the house. They came out a couple of times to check the traps without us asking. However, after those visits we had to continue to call them to come out because we continued to have rats. That was close to three months ago, and we still have a problem, and they won't respond to requests to have someone sent out. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM FOR RODENTS AGAIN. I signed up for a one-time service when I first moved into my home, and the initial visit was unremarkable. Four weeks later a Terminix employee came back to my home, sprayed again, and left a bill on my porch for $90. I called immediately and explained what happened, and the customer service rep said they had mistakenly enrolled me in a quarterly service and the charges would be waived. Three months later, not only has this not happened, but I've been trapped in the purgatory of waiting for the billing liaison to escalate my issue and have basically been called a liar by two billing agents on separate occasions in trying to get this worked out. I've called at least six times. They claimed I had a signed agreement, but all I ever signed was the receipt of the initial visit, which in no way states that I agreed to any future services. In fact, the Terminix employee who sprayed my home without my consent the second time wrote on his invoice that I did sign that receipt, when in fact HE signed "Thank you" in the location where my signature was supposed to be! Not sure what the exact legal definition of fraud is in this context but it's got to be close. Please, Terminix, fix this. read more
