We have been here a few times. I love the overall look and feel of the bar. It's very classy and has a historic feel to it which I enjoy. It's a great place to relax and have a few drinks. I had a whiskey sour and spicy margarita, both were very good. I will say the staff wasn't necessarily the friendliest. Bartender just seemed to have an attitude. Nothing I can't look past tho, Also, the prices are a bit high, but I was expecting that for a downtown bar at union station. Overall I enjoy it here as it's a great place to have a few drinks and enjoy the ambiance. Hoping the staff improves! read more

I went here last Saturday night and I was able to walk right up around 6:00 p.m. and get a table inside! The tables and bar are all first come, first serve. The waitress was super friendly and they have a lot of local beer on tap as well as unique cocktails. A great place to stop before our after getting on the train. Enjoy! read more

I LOVE this place, but if you're going to pay $12.50 for an old fashion, I'd like a solid ice cube versus a sonic ice from the freezer.

Arrived to super friendly staff and were seated immediately. We decided to sit outside since it's a great people-watching spot right at a prime spot in Union Station. Holy cow...the drink menu rocks. TONS of craft beers to choose from and I was excited to find a local milk stout (that I've had before...but it's been a while). My friends all had mixed drinks - the cocktail menu is diverse and extensive as well. The menu is limited, but good for sandwiches and snacks. We had the hummus plate and french fries to share. We had a couple of people with gluten allergies, so they put the pita in a separate bowl for us that partake in gluten and to avoid cross contamination. Hummus was delicious as were the veggies (and pita) that accompanied it. Fried were cooked perfectly. Nice people, great location and awesome drink menu. Oh...and it's clean. Good stuff. read more

I stopped by here while waiting for the train to go to Denver Airport. My partner and I got the following drinks: The Shadow of St. Charles ($12; rye, Campari, Giffard Banane du Bresil, Averna Amaro) - The banana flavor of Giffard Banane du Bresil was a tad strange combined with the bitter citrus of Campari. It tasted okay - not my favorite but not bad either. A Matcha Made In Heaven ($11; cachaca, Bols Genever, matcha tea, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup) - I'm always happy to try craft cocktails with cachaca that's not a caipirinha. It was surprisingly good and the matcha flavor really came through. Wynkoop Sour ($11; bourbon, lemon juice, pear syrup, Cocchi Barolo Chinato) - When I read it on the menu it seemed to be a pretty interesting take on the classic NY Sour. But I couldn't really taste the pear at all so it was a little disappointing. Service was a bit slow and the bartenders seemed preoccupied. Understandable since the bar was very busy and they take orders from both sides of the bar. Ambiance was great - my partner said that it reminded him of Harry Potter lol. Drinks are just okay. read more

This place features a very social & thriving setting, at long shared tables in the hub of Union Station, with retro style that very much matches the feel of the building. The feature here is over two dozen Colorado beers on tap from a range of breweries and styles. Prices are slightly high, owing to the location and range of choices. read more

Whether you're a tourist visiting wonderful Union Station or a local like me, the Terminal Bar is a quality stop. Located on one end of Denver's legendary and beautiful Union Station, this is a good food and libation option. I like that they have booth and bar options, plus they have indoor bench seating within steps of the place. My recent visit luckily had a great server named Maye who made it a great experience. Had some great tempura, a terrific chicken tender plate, and a couple of good local beers. Moderately priced, open until midnight, good service, and a good stop for friends, family, a date, or business. read more

Busy but cool bar inside Union Station with a huge drink offering. We opted to sit inside the bar which appears to be in the former ticketing area. Plenty of cool architectural details and interesting decor to check out. Server came over quickly with menus and water. After reviewing the extensive list I went with the Bear Skin Rug which was Trace, two types of amaro, demerarra and house bitters. Service was attentive and it made for a nice pre-dinner stop. read more

Had a wonderful time!! Moses-our server was fantastic and attentive. Highly recommend for a good impression of Denver! The ambiance is chill but classy and the cocktails are delish. Highly recommend if you're in Union Station! read more

Next time you happen to take a trip to Denver, there is no reason why you don't follow signs for "Transit Center" to the commuter rail which connects the airport to downtown (Union Station) and all for the whopping price of $9. For one the price is perfection and the experience to come will supersede that. You'll be graced with Snow-capped Rockies on your right and the outskirts as well as downtown Denver, on your left, as you approach your final stop (Union Station). Once you enter the station that's when you be blinded by the lovely lights that float above the external bar. I always sit inside the bar but they also offer external seating with a walk up bar, if you prefer sitting in the hustle and bustle of the terminal. They offer 2 pages worth of Colorado beers, Cocktails, Food, you name it. You can bet money on the fact that if Deviled Eggs are listed I will order those and usually a beer. Service is always fast and they'll let you sample whatever you'd fancy if you're unsure. You absolutely have to fly to Denver, take the rail and end your travels in a seat at this bar. It's worth the trip. read more

Good happy hour. Cool place. Drinks made well. Nice place to try at least once. In Union station.

First time I've ever gotten thrown out of a bar for NOT drinking enough. Went to meet a friend who was finishing a drink before I drove us to dinner. Tried to order a soft drink but bartender told me "That didn't count". I need to order a drink with alcohol or he would "Through me out." Crazy! read more

Terrible service. If it hadn't been for someone, NOT the server refilling my drink and someone else getting my check when I waited at least 15 minutes for, he would have received NO tip. I hate the added fee to help give then a living wage. No wonder service is bad when they know they'll get a tip regardless. read more

This is a late review, spent Derby day downtown. With Covid, the RTD schedule is completely unpredictable and the listed times are usually wrong, so i found myself waiting for over 40 minutes waiting to see my sister and her friend off on the A train at Union Station. While waiting we figured we would get a drink. The Terminal Bat is open to the common area of Union Station, so we walked right up and ordered a drink. The bar tender was very nice and welcoming and patiently waited for our slightly drunk selves to figure out what we wanted. Since it was the Kentucky Derby, I decided to order all of us Mint Julips. They were fucking delicious! While we were sipping our drinks and enjoying the environment, I was browsing their menu and will definitely have to return for food sometime! Overall I would definitely recommend the Terminal Bar for a quick drink if you're waiting for a train or waiting on your group to meet up downtown before hitting the streets. You can grab a drink at the bar on the station side and then go find a place to sit and hangout or go play some shuffle board. We will be back! read more

The interior matches the old train station decor. This place seems to be known for its bar and beers and they serve burgers, salads and appetizers. Most of us had the classic burger... and it was pretty good. The French fries were excellent. Our server was nice and we had plenty of iced tea refills. Including the tip, I believe the four of us was about $75. Not bad. read more

Great drinks, but the tan blonde girl is easily the rudest person I've ever met. She yelled at someone who worked there (Who told me later that she was in training) in front of guests, she kept rolling her eyes when taking orders, and had an overall bad attitude and was really abrupt and rude. She gave her coworkers attitude as well as the guests she was serving. Thankfully, the girl training, I think her name was Mo, or something similar, brushed it off and was nice. I'll update with her name later as I work at the wework by union station and sometimes get a cocktail there. It's inappropriate to yell at coworkers in front of guests and roll your eyes at guests. I just found her so unpleasant it left an otherwise excellent experience into an unpleasant one. read more

Chill little bar located in Union Station. Lots of local craft beers and cocktail options. Great place to grab a few beers and experience union station, read a book, and check out the little quaint shops. I had the Temporary Paradise beer, which is a medium blonde ale with hints of coconut for a light flavory beer. I wish the glasses/beer we're colder when served. read more

Great food, ambiance and location - especially during the holidays. Booth seating made it also quiet and easy to be in conversation. Service was friendly and fast, food was affordable and solid. Great place to show an out of town guest Union Station area and catch up, or catch up with a friend. Solid all around. read more

This place was terrible. We were sitting at the bar theres four different people somehow serving everyone else. Helping people that arrived after us and treating them like old friends that were clearly travelers as well. Made eye contact several times with servers and still refused to ever serve us. It wasn't until a nice young black man came all the way from across the room to serve us that we got any real service. We ordered the Reubens sandwich which was good but the soup and wings were awful. Both came out room temperature the breading in the wings was soggy. Ironically on the menu it specified they were crispy wings. The tomato soup was garbage and I love tomato soup. I get it everywhere that offers it. Such a shame especially since we are staying at the Crawford for several days. read more

Gorgeous decor and a very well made Dirty Martini (a third of which I clumsily spilt and our server was super sweet about getting it cleaned up despite how busy she was). This is one of those bars that genuinely does have something high quality to offer any kind of drinking - a large selection of keg beers, classic and their own creation cocktails and a wine list. I find it odd that so many Americans dock many stars for bars based on their food offerings - I just wouldn't normally order anything more than a snack in a bar unless I knew it specifically set out to be something like a gastro pub and I think it unhelpfully skews ratings downwards for bars with excellent drink selections. Tbh I think the obvious answer to this is bars should really limit their menus! The sweet potato fries here were a very decent snack though. read more

I'm giving Terminal Bar 2 Stars only because I was charged a "Neat Fee" for ordering my scotch NEAT. it was 8% of the cost of my sifter of scotch and I am in disbelief why anyone would do this. read more

This bar is in Union Station, they have their own space with a bar you can sit at and booths/tables as well as an ordering window after which you can take your drinks around and sit wherever in Union Station. it was loud, buzzing, and an enjoyable environment for a bar. My husband and I sat in the hall and I used the online ordering feature to order a glass of wine. Wine was fine but a bit pricey. To me, that's to be expected especially since many people use the train from the airport so this may be the first place they experience in Denver. On the online menu they had a large beer selection which is great. After ordering a server was supposed to bring me my drink but about 15 minutes had gone by and I was wondering if I was ever going to get it. I just went up to the bar on the inside and explained to the bartender and she was very kind and apologetic which was refreshing. Overall nice experience and great place if you are willing to spend a bit on beverages. read more

Time is Money Exactly how I want to spend my evening, 45 minutes waiting for a couple small dishes. As the effective Yelper that I am, I chose to spend this precious time wisely by writing a review because I'm currently still waiting. Let me tell you what I can do in 45 minutes that's better than waiting for these fries and chicken strips to come out: - Listen to the entire N'Sync album Home For Christmas - Get a pedicure (I really need it) - Watch an episode of Stranger Things - Drive to Colorado Springs for a Taylor Swift Concert - Make my own fries and chicken strips from scratch - Getting a Thai massage on the beach - Waiting in line for Snooze Yep. I'd rather be doing any of those things. read more

Burgers, soft pretzels, beer...Terminal Bar is a reliable neighborhood pub with possibly the best atmosphere of any neighborhood pub. There's a small but stylishly cozy dining room off the great hall. The beer garden outside is great when the weather is nice--and occasionally has smores when it's cool. Or you can order from the window in the Great Hall and enjoy the beauty of Union Station. Good selection of Colorado beers and well-made cocktails. read more

I had a nice time at this place. It's cute, intimate, trendy.. but I can imagine that it gets packed on really busy nights. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was really great, too. The only thing is, my date ordered a port, and was mistakenly given a sherry instead. Imagine his surprise on the first sip, lol. Other than that, we had a great time here. We'll definitely be back. read more

The Terminal Bar continues to be a place we go when we want to get dolled up and celebrate something. The place tends to be packed - especially on the weekends - so you have to know what you're getting yourself in to and expect to possibly wait for a seat to open up. The drinks are a bit pricey, which is to be expected at such a central downtown location, but they do the classics up right and have nice seasonal drinks. What I really go for is the ambiance - I love the low lighting and the leather booths. I also love the buzz of Union Station in general, and this bar carries that well and does the "Art Deco" era bar-feel without being kitschy. The most recent time we went, my date had a gin martini and I had the Autumn Chill. The Autumn Chill was the perfect combination of a bit fruity, a bit gin-y and a bit spicy. And while it's not autumn still, the recent Denver weather sure could fool me. read more

This is great location to grab a drink and bite to eat after riding the train. They have a chill vibe goin on with some cool music playing in the background. I ordered the Tuna Melt...mmmmm...delicious! It was not over powering with Mayo and just the right amount of cheese. You definitely get your money's worth here, the portion was very generous. Very good sized sandwich, could be enough to share between two people. The drink, La Vida Roasted...the flavors of tequila and curaçao nicely mixed together. Overall great presentation! Food Excellent! Drinks phenomenal! Ambiance terrific! The service was 4 1/2 stars. They have the potential to get 5. read more

Man do I go back and forth on this place. I've had both good service and bad. The drinks are always good, the ambiance fun, and the location super-convenient, though. It's worth stopping by if you are in Union Station. read more

Unfortunately, I must update this review with a downgrade. The last two times I stopped in here after work, I was completely ignored for ten and fifteen minutes, respectively. At the bar. That's not okay. These guys are too big for their britches. You're better off walking a few steps west to the kitchen next door. Solid food, great happy hour, stellar service. read more

Pretty negative experience here. Staff collected my drivers license as collateral to play shuffle board (I wasn't too worried as I trusted they would keep it safe). When I returned to retrieve it an hour later, the staff told me they had "definitely lost it and probably given it away to someone else". Waited another hour for the manager on duty to come out and unapologetically confirm they had given it away but they would "maybe try to find it". Despite multiple calls, only after posting a negative review online a week later did anyone engage with me. Adding a star as they did mail my ID back to me a few weeks later, as well as an apology letter. read more

This bar is a very nice fit for a busy place like Union Station. They do have waiter service seating inside, but since all we wanted was a drink in the late afternoon before dinner and a place to people watch in the holiday decorated Main Hall, we took the option to order at the window and sit in the nearby armchairs in the Hall. The selection of many local crafted beers and some ciders too, fit our wants perfectly. I especially like it when there is a choice between a sweet or a dry cider, because often, if there is only one, it is likely to be sweet. I like dry and preferably on tap. Which is what I got. From a local just up the street, Stem Ciders. Perfect. My husband had a local Copper Ale which he had not had before and thought it was great, from Station 26. The staff was efficient and very friendly, and quite busy, though the line was not long and went quickly when we were there. Though they are working a window, do remember to tip them, there is work involved and they will appreciate it. You can leave your empty glasses on the tables near where you sit, they send staff around to keep it clean and take the glasses back into the bar. There is lots of comfortable seating in addition to the benches and the bar stool table. People watching is fun here and we even saw a former neighbor passing through the Hall and got a chance for a short visit. read more
